We love Utah Dance Academy! All of the teachers have been fantastic and the owner goes above and beyond. Performances and costumes are amazing.

Ive visited Utah Dance Academy and it is absolutely beautiful! I have personally sat in on several different dance lessons, and the way Kathy and the other teachers teach literally brought me to tears, in a good way. They care SO much about the kids and their well-being. It is clear that Kathy puts her heart and soul into these kids. She doesnt just care about dance. She cares that these kids are healthy and doing well. It truly makes the studio such a positive and uplifting place to be in. And they use CLEAN, family-friendly music. Couldnt ask for a better dance studio. Love this place!

This is probably the best dance studio. Period! The owner is extremely busy person however once you meet her in person she makes you feel like the most important person in the world! Classes are also well staffed with talented instructors. Its a very safe environment and comfortable for new comers. They have a very good competition team too! The preschool is a nice addition :)

We love UDA. My two daughters have attended classes here for over three years and love it as well. Kathy and Kelly are awesome and treat everyone like family. I would recommend UDA to anyone!!!

My daughters have been dancing with Utah Dance Academy since they were basically toddlers. I have chosen this studio because of the classy music and costumes, wonderful positive teachers, and overall exceptional dance experience! Were so lucky to be a part of the UDA dance family. I have referred several friends who have had the same experience. Always grateful for the amazing dance training my dancers receive at UDA!!

For sure 5⭐️UDA is amazing!!! My daughter Whitney loves dancing and fell in love with it at UDA because of UDA. When we first went in we met the owner Kathy who is so nice and personable. We did a year of dance to see if we liked it, then Whit tried out for Comp. She made it and they moved her around to put her in the right class to push her to be a better dancer. We love it there❤️The dance studio is beautiful and always clean. The teachers are so fun and really care about the girls. There is a teacher for any level of dance. I highly recommend this place and mainly because of the owner and how much she cares for all her dancers. ❤️

Ive known Kathy Carver since 2016. Shes always been kind, bubbly, and outgoing. I was able to see the Utah Dance Academy when they were renting buildings. She has always had the dancers best interests in mind. As I watched her teach in the building they rented, her dream was to have her very own building so she could connect more with the dancers. That dream came to pass in the Fall of 2018 where she opened up her very own dance studio. Since then I have visited that new building and have seen how she has interacted with the students. All Ive ever seen Kathy want is the best for her dance students, to let them know they are loved and are students of great worth. She always has a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. Her loving and giving personality has always touched my heart. I remember a time where both our families went out to dinner. While leaving the restaurant I pulled my car up next to her car to thank her for the meal. I told her I needed to top off my dinner with some candy and asked her if she had any pop rocks I could have. She told me she DID! And I said yes but I need 6 packets. She said she DID and she gave me all 6 packets. So I say to you, what kind of dance academy owner would have 6 packets of pop rocks with her and would give them all to a friend? Kathy is very kind, loving, and giving. Please come and join Kathy at the Utah Dance Academy where the girls can learn great dance moves, great self worth, and loving kindness from all her dance instructors.

I’ve never met a more loving dedicated owner of a dance studio. Her ability to develop wonderful dancers that love dance and have confidence, show kindness, inclusiveness, and radiate inner beauty is amazing. Her studio is a safe place to be where love abounds.

Kathy, the owner of Utah Dance Academy is so generous and kind. She is always saying such nice things to us girls and is very encouraging. She likes to check in our classes to make sure we are doing good and happy. Kathy likes to make sure her studio isnt just a dance studio. She plans fun activities throughout the year. She does lots of festive things that are really fun. She makes things so sparkly. I am so grateful that I dance at Utah Dance Academy and have an amazing owner that cares about everyone in it. The Utah Dance Academy is a great dance studio and the owner, Kathy, really puts her heart and soul into the studio and the dancers...it shows! Its a joy to watch the kids dance.

As a mom who knew nothing of the dance world except what is depicted on tv, I was hesitant to send my daughter into it. But we have been so happy with Utah Dance Academy!! My daughter started at 3 years old on the academy teams and fell in LOVE with dance! We have been a part of their competition side now for 3 years! It has been amazing to watch my daughter form friendships and as an added bonus I have gained some mom friends!! There are always hiccups along the way (its inevitable in ALL studios), but everything is always handled professionally and with a kind heart! That is one of the things I love most about UDA... they just want their dancers to feel loved and learn to love dance! Kathy is an amazing studio owner and person who emulates this is in her personal and business relationships! We will never go anywhere else!

Utah Dance Academy is amazing!!! They are the most welcoming dance studio around. The owner Kathy puts her heart and soul into her business and genuinely loves each and every member. The dancers learn a variety of classes and gain confidence from taking lessons here. The studio is top of the line, brand new. Anyone would love attending classes here.

Im so happy we found Utah Dance Academy. The owner Kathy is amazing and truly cares about her studio and the students in it. Weve always felt so welcome. My daughter was 2.5 last year and fell in love with dance because of this studio. We love the recitals and picture days too. Everything is beautiful and well thought out.

Utah dance academy is awesome. They are very friendly and willing to help with what every they need. We have loved going there and dancing. The only reason why we didn’t give 5 stars is their winter concert is out side in the middle of December. It’s really cold for the little ones. We wish they could do it inside even in the studio with cute background. Other then that we would tell people to there for dance.

My daughter started dancing here in 2019. Shes tried various dance classes, to help find her niche, and has loved every one of them! Now, my 4 year old is joining a dance class - along with her 2nd year of Bright Stars Academy - and cannot wait for classes to start! I believe with every successful company, emails and voicemails can get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday lift. However, Kathy and her dedicated team of teachers and instructors have given my husband and I individual time and attention to ensure my daughters are on the right track for success. I am thankful for Utah Dance Academy in teaching skills to my daughters, as well as the availability of a great pre-school!

We attended a pageant at this studio this weekend! The faculty was beyond spectacular! Although I do not live in the area to have my daughter dance there, if I did this would be the place.The dance teachers had several dancers who were competing in the pageant. I watched as each one of their girls were dancing and the teachers stood and watched each student with so much pride (almost like it was their own daughter). The dancers that were competing looked amazing from head to toe!Thanks Utah Dance Academy for having us at your beautiful studio!

My daughters danced at Utah Dance Academy for years before I started teaching at the studio. I loved it then and I love it EVEN MORE now! Kathy has a heart of gold. Her loving and generous spirit is what makes UDA more than just a dance studio. It is a home away from home for so many girls. The new beautiful studio was built specifically to make each dancer who walked through the doors feel special, safe, and cherished. I have heard so many people express that the feeling inside the Utah Dance Academy studio is unique to anywhere else!Of course, this environment is a perfect learning ground for dancers to grow and flourish! Our teams are highly competitive. The choreography is SO FUN to watch and challenges the dancers to grow! Song selection and movement is always classy and clean. Costuming is seriously above and beyond! The hand placed rhinestones, elaborate hair bows, extra sparkle, and customizations make the UDA costumes stand out at every performance.If you are looking for a place to dance that is positive, clean, competitive, and professional...then, this is the place for you! Plus, there are three GIANT chandeliers in the lobby!!

Disorganized, lots of excuses, doesnt seem to have a lot of follow through with things promised. You pay to tryout, they require you to commit to the team taking summer classes (disorganized as far as not knowing what class they were going to have them in for these "required classes")Throughout the year they randomly add more girls on the team that didnt pay for tryouts nor did they do summer classes like the rest of the team. Their coach always had her daughter in class, that seemed to distract the coach from coaching the team fairly and to 100%.Due to the pandemic-they threw a last minute recital/awards ceremony together. Disappointing, music messed up multiple times, and their coach had the audacity to say to us parents in front of the team of young girls after performing “wow, they did so much better in practice, I dont know what happened!" I saw that classes weren’t treated fairly in regards to awards on said “performance” (non competitive teams received medal awards while competitive teams received A SINGLE ROSE, that died before we arrived home)I felt the need to reach out to Kathy (the ownerto understand why teams were awarded SO DRASTICALLY different, After paying so much into my daughters participation in her dance class. Kathy (seeming to be a bit unprofessional/dramaticworried me that she would take it the wrong way, I chatted with several of the other moms who were also frustrated with the drastic difference in awards! I informed them I was going to reach out to Kathy (ownerand just find out more info!I reached out to Kathy (ownermultiple times with no response. Again unprofessional. If you need to talk to the owner... good luck. I decided to message her about how I was feeling since she never returned any of my calls, and that got her attention... She immediately called YELLING, "I can not believe this, I do not have time for this, I am so busy right now, I have no time for my family, I have all this stuff I have to do for my sons Eagle Scout stuff and this is what I now have to deal with. I am so offended right now! Did you know academy pays more than you, Did you know your class made me LOSE MONEY because I was suppose to have 11 on the team but we kept your class small any way! Did you know I spent more on roses than medals! If its about a medal Ill give your daughter a "dang medal" if that’s what you want!! Im just ready to say heck with it all and go bankrupt.” This continued for awhile until I was finally able to get a word in.Very unprofessional of a business owner to call a paying customer and speak to a customer this way! I was blown away!Felt attacked, heartbroken, I just wanted to better understand things before moving on with another year with Utah Dance Academy. I decided to take my daughter to tryouts any way, thinking maybe Kathy was just over whelmed that day. My daughter tried out and the day we were supposed to receive tryout results Kathy (ownershows up on my door step of my home, hands me letter saying I should go to other studios. As well as a check with a portion of competition pay refunded to me.AGAIN SO UNPROFESSIONAL, DISORGANIZED, AND A HUGE LET DOWN OVER ALL!Positives: Extravagant large studio, that sparkles and shines. Cute costumes, great choreography, and lots of bubbly, fun teachers, good dancing opportunities.Adelle is the sweetest lady, and the only one that’s seems to be professional at this dance studio.

Amazing place for dancers of all skill levels. The staff is wonderful and the building is a beautiful place for creative expression.

Truly talented staff with kindness to spare. This is THE place for ballet. I cant IMAGINE a better place for dance. My ballerina loves it and from watching the tumbling, jazz and other dancers - this is a great place for learning, performing and competing.

Utah Dance Academy is the BEST studio ever!!!!! They have the most wonderful, dedicated, loving teachers ever and they make sure that every girl is loved !! They take care of my dance education as their first priority. Every girl is taken so very good care of and they are the nicest teachers ever ! They have taught me to be kind, hardworking, selfless and so many more things! I have been dancing here for 6 years and i have loved every min of it !

Utah Dance Academy is a wonderful place to take dance lessons. My daughter has been challenged in a positive manner. Each year she significantly improves. The technique and instruction is spot on. The environment is friendly, and positive, yet they teach each dancer to work hard. My daughter has improved in her confidence, work ethic, and team and solo skills. Every dancer feels important at UDA.

We love Utah Dance Academy. The teachers are so friendly and have my daughter feeling so loved. The new studio is amazing and so gorgeous! It has every dancer feeling like a princess when they walk through the doors. Kathy the owner is the nicest person we have ever met! She makes each dancer feel so loved and special. Beautiful new facility in Pleasant View with good teachers and classes.

My daughter has been attending UDA for 6 months now and Loves it. The facility is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the instructors are great. My daughter has come a long way in such a few months. I recommend UDA to anyone who wants to strive or see their son or daughter strive in the performing arts of dance. Without a doubt UDA is #1!

I have been dancing here for 4 out of my 11 best place so far.. Love love it here
