Patient of Dr. Morris for five years. Dr. Morris failed to discover prostate cancer although all of the symptoms were there. Instead, he opted for expensive, painful surgeries, twice. While still undetected, prostate cancer led to kidney failure. Cancer had spread throughout pelvis and to lungs before it was discovered by a kidney doctor at the dialysis center. Now on dialysis for life and have terminal cancer. Quality of life has been severely altered for me and my family. This may all have been avoided had Dr. Morris done simple routine blood tests. When Dr. Morris was informed of the cancer diagnosis, there was no empathy, apology, nothing. Take my advice: find another doctor if you want appropriate treatment.

Dr. Morris was inconsiderate of the severe amount of pain he caused throughout my procedure. His facility was inadequately stocked and understaffed. His demeanor was shallow and off putting. I do not ever want to see him again. I suggest avoiding his services at all costs.

Dr. Morris is great to work with. He is easy to talk to and definitely wanted to make sure my needs were met. His front desk staff and MAs are fantastic. They have been great at making me feel comfortable in situations that could be uncomfortable. If I could give them more stars I would.

My dad was a patient of Dr. Morris. We sought Dr. Morris out specifically because he spoke Spanish. He spent 5-10 minutes a visit with my dad. My father felt rushed, confused, and left feeling like this doctor cared more about the money he was making per visit than my dads health. He had him on medication for his prostate for SIX days. My dad was experiencing pretty bad side effects on them. He mentioned this to the Dr. and instead of maybe trying another medication out or asking my dad to elaborate, he jumped straight to wanting my dad to get surgery.Furthermore, my father showed up for one of his appointments, and the secretary told him he wasnt on the schedule. He showed them proof of his appointment, but instead of recognizing their mistake, they had him wait one hour in the waiting room for a 7 minute visit with the doctor.Surgery, no matter how minimally invasive it may be is a scary thing. Having a doctor show you that he cares prior to a surgery is important in order to ease the stress. We did not feel like Dr. Morris cared enough before the surgery, and therefore felt uneasy about him doing the surgery on my dad.As for the surgical consent and explaining the surgery and the recovery process, this did not happen. The very MINIMUM this doc couldve done is translate the paperwork for him on google translate or something. They teach us cultural competency in nursing school. Im CERTAIN they teach this in medical school too.Lastly, you didnt even do a medication review with my dad and didnt take into account his high BP, the meds for it, and his thyroid medication, to ensure theyre compatible with the prostate meds you prescribed. Maybe that was a factor in his side effects. Its obvious youre careless overall.I dont know what else I have to say in order for you to give a Sh*t about your patients, Dr. Morris. Yes, even the brown, Spanish- speaking ones. Ya know? Like the same ones you "served" and taught during your mission in Guatemala. It seems to me you forgot the empathy that goes into working in healthcare, as well as the lessons you learned during those 2 years of your missionary service (if you even learned any). Do better.

Updated to add that at my follow up, Dr. Morris talked me through some of the reasons behind the things that were done (he said that most kidney stones dont show up on ultrasounds and only about half show up on x-rays, so without the actual stone it would have been hard to know if it was actually gone or if we just couldnt see it and waived the stent-removal fee. He also said Ill probably be getting a partial refund for the surgery because it was shorter than it would have been if there had been a stone, no lasers were used, etc. I appreciate his responsiveness to my concerns. We discussed how I think more information up front would be helpful, because I came out of that initial surgery feeling a little traumatized and like it was my fault for not doing more research and not knowing what I was getting into, but more information on his end about why things are done or arent done would have probably gone a long way too.Original review: Im really frustrated with my experience with this practice, and Ive sat in this for a week to try to make sure I wasnt writing it in my super emotional post-surgery state where I was feeling panicky and irrationally betrayed by medicine, but now Im calm and Ill just tell you what I think. Everyone was nice enough I guess, but I went in after an ER trip with a kidney stone that was supposed to be too large to pass because the doctor I was referred to had a month long wait and I was on major pain killers and was panicked. He told me basically nothing, didnt check anything but my ER scans, didnt give me much information about what to expect or look for or anything, and charged me almost $300 for that first appointment but said the next one would only be $150. They scheduled a surgery for two weeks later (the other option was waiting for a month to give it longer to pass, but kidney stones are painful and I was still on oxycodone and didnt know what to doand said if I passed it I didnt have to pay for it, but there was a fee for cancelling the surgery otherwise. I asked the week before if there was a way to check and make sure that the stone hadnt passed because Id been feeling much better, and they said if I wanted to I could schedule my own CT scan before the procedure, which sounded expensive and they didnt act like was necessary because stones that big usually dont pass on their own. After I had my surgery (which, by the way, was about $8000, paid up frontthey told me that they didnt find the stone, so apparently it had passed and I had missed it in the 2 weeks of filtering my pee. But afterwards a friend told me shed had about 7 of those same procedures and that theyd always done an x-ray to confirm the stone was still there before they put her under. They also put a stent in during the unnecessary surgery (which I guess they have to do so things dont swell up or whateverand told me Id need to come back in to have to removed, and I just got a message saying that will be an additional $430 and if I want laughing gas it will be another $100. But I cant just leave the stent in, so what am I supposed to do? And honestly, Im not thrilled about going back there at all because Im so angry about it, but I dont know who to go to instead to get it out, and I assumed it would just be covered as part of the procedure. So they didnt check to see if the stone was still there, I got unnecessary anesthesia and an unnecessary scope and stent, and now I get to pay to have the unnecessary stent removed as well. This is my first kidney stone, so maybe this is standard practice for everyone, but it sure doesnt seem like it.

I scheduled an appointment to have a vasectomy performed. The day before they called and said it was going to cost me 1/3rd more out of pocket. Its not a big deal but I just didnt feel good about it. I am wondering if this is standard procedure for them? I called back and cancelled the appointment and right before we ended the call, she said "remember dr morris is the best in the country for vasectomy". I thought that was a pretty arrogant comment after they raised the cost the day before the procedure. As far as I can tell he is only self proclaimed to be the best and some of the reviews make him sound very arrogant.Did he raise your cost right before the procedure? Shady, unethical tactics and a superiority complex to go along with it. $1000 for 7 minute procedure....

I had a great experience with Dr. Morris 12 weeks ago. They offered convenient hours on a Friday evening and were very fast. The office staff is always kind and friendly. It was less than 30 minutes from the time I checked in until I was out the door. Dr. Morris made it as comfortable as possible. The nitrus has made it even more comfortable. He provided the kits for follow up testing to complete at home, making it even more comfortable and convenient. My recovery was much easier and faster than a traditional vasectomy would provide. I would highly recommend him if you’re considering this procedure!!

My brother and I had a vasectomy on the same day at different facilities. Mine was first and I told my brother it wasn’t that bad (quick and minimal pain). He called me later cussing about how it was the worst thing ever (very painful and took twice as long as mine). I have no regrets going with the specialists at Vasectomy Pro. T.J. Morris definitely knew what he was doing and was very efficient.

Having been turned away over my age many times, called the receptionist, she said she would ask and return my call. She said yes and to check my insurance. The insurance paid for it. There was a first consult and a wait, that wasnt a question! I knew I wanted to be sterile for years! Shaved and took an anti biotic before I came back. The procedure was 6 minutes, from, face the wall, drop your pants and lay back on the table, to pull your pants up. He wouldnt let me record it, but he did explain everything he did and let me watch. I told him to forget the metal clips, I had heard that other guys could sometimes feel them, he didnt argue and left them out. I stood up and walked out. NO Pain, I walked out the same as whenI walked in, none of that funny walk that you see at other places, Ok, the first step or two were cautious, but no pain and that was a surprise. If I hadnt watched it would be hard to believe, it had been done. The friend that I took wanted to look at cars on the way home. We stopped, walked some car lots. Still nothing felt different, even the next few days. NO bleeding, no bruising, no swelling, no stiff scab, or ichy stitches, No frozen peas (that everyone on the internet swore by), no pain.Since it was open ended the third day, small painless lumps formed but are now completely unfindable.Three months later, sample to the lab. All juice no seeds, not even dead swimmers. Mission accomplished. I just wish all surgeries could be this painless. The vasectomy was perfect, the Urolift was another story. I felt all 4 implants being placed (could have better anesthesia, or maybe I was expecting too much after the great vasectomy. I only get up once a night, instead of 3 to 4 times, it does preserve sexual function (the first urination after orgasm is always strong asked for Tadalafil before but was assured that urolift would be better. After I did get him to prescribe tadalafil (suprise side effect, my blood pressure is better than its been in decades )Six months later I still wet myself 2 or 3 times a week and I have the constant pinched feeling between my legs (dah, that is what it does, pinch your prostate open! it hurt like hell, if I had known then what I know now, I wouldnt have done it. Dr Morris told me that I was his first patient to complain.

Dr. Morris is a good doctor. Definitely was quick and easy. I myself did not even use gas for the procedure. Even though it is recommended you do. My pain level for 1-10 was a 2 even the next day. (Definitely painless )Dr. Morris contacted me the next day on his personal cell phone and asked me if I was doing OK...No doctor does that I would give this place six stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My experience was top notch! I was treated very well, everything was explained clearly. The procedure was completely comfortable and pain free. Absolutely zero discomfort during the procedure. You can definitely tell that Dr. Morris has a lot of experience and knows what he is doing. The recovery was uncomfortable at times, but not for long. That was to be expected. I would highly recommend! Im also happy to report that the procedure was a success!

I went to Dr. Morris for a vasectomy reversal. I needed a reversal because my wife died and I decided to re-marry. I had a bad experience from the first consult. I was told I would only be charged for the consult if I decided to move forward with the procedure. I drove three hours to the consult and was told the consult would cost $375 up front. I had a very hard time dealing with the front desk, I asked for an itemized receipt and you would have thought I asked them to go to moon. I scheduled my procedure and I received a call the day before saying that the front office had forgotten to schedule me for the operating room. Dr. Morris gave me inaccurate information regarding vasectomy reversal options. He told me that if I needed a more complex procedure I would need to go to Houston or San Diego, when in actuality there was a new clinic in town that could take care of simple and complex vasectomy reversals. His cost for vasectomy reversal was 4 times the local competitor, and he could only perform the simple procedure and he did not offer a money back guarantee like his competitor. The front desk is terrible to deal with and Dr. Morris is not the best choice for vasectomy reversals.

I’ve suffered with a enlarged prostate for many years and gone through multiple treatment options. I was seeking a permanent solution and hoping the new urolift procedure would help. Dr Morris discovered my prostate was too enlarged for urolift. I appreciated his honesty and advice to have TURP surgery. It worked so well! I can honestly say the surgery changed my life, allowing me to enjoy the activities I love much more. I can hike for 4 hours without the need to urinate! I highly recommend Dr Morris. I have confidence he always provides the optional treatment, he did for me. Ron R

This experience pretty much distilled the preconceptions of a vasectomy. Dr. Morris was very present with his professionalism. Process didnt take longer than 10-20 min. Left home with a mice little goody bag. Trust me!!! Dr. T.J. Morris is the person you want to trust, dealing with such a delicate situation.

I researched a few different places and decided on Dr. Morris based on the great reviews. I am so glad I did! Setting up my appointment was fast and easy. At the appointment, there was a short wait and a one on one consultation to make sure I understood everything, and then the procedure barely took more than 5 minutes. It was very easy and basically painless, just some discomfort. Everyone involved was very professional and polite, and Dr. Morris was great!I highly recommended Dr. Morris to everyone looking for a vasectomy! I will be telling my friends.

Everyone was very professional and did a great job answering questions. I was impressed with how quick and painless the procedure was. Maybe took 10 minutes to actually perform. I was in the office all of 45 minutes before I was back on my way home. Had been avoiding the procedure for a few years for fear of how it would go and it was so much easier then I imagined. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. I appreciated the privacy given and not being exposed to a bunch of nurses and that he performed the procedure alone. The procedure was painless with minimal discomfort. I’m healing now and still not in any significant pain. 5 stars for a great service from the receptionist to the nurses to Dr. Morris.

I was very nervous about getting this procedure done. But once Dr. Morris and his staff knew that, they made me feel at ease and very comfortable with getting it done. Dr. Morris is 100% the best Urologist in Utah. I rarely leave reviews unless they’re worth it, and he is. Not to mention his office staff is amazing as well which is HARD to come by both. I see so many specialists in a month, I easily get overwhelmed, especially when seeing Doctors with less than great bedside manners. I get anxious in the lobbies and medical rooms waiting on the doctor. Once I do see them I often leave a lot of my appointments scared, in tears, and very depressed... BUT NEVER after seeing Dr. Morris. He is patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. He listens to the patients concerns and lets me ask all my questions, and answers in a way that makes sense to someone who has zero idea what medical lingo means. He does seem younger, which worried me at first, but those worries quickly went away. He is a master of his craft, and passionate about what he does, and truly cares for his patients. I feel more like a friend/patient with him instead of a line up patient who needs to be in-out as fast as possible, shuffled through quickly. If only all of my specialists could be this way. Speaking of though, if you’re looking for a urologist or family doctor who are the BEST of the BEST here in spanish fork I speak very highly of Dr. Morris and Dr. Mathew Walton (I’ll leave a google review on him next). They BOTH have an extremely calming presence, and I end up leaving feeling confident in my medical care and a happier healthier person. My ONLY negative is how dang much I owe each visit, but we keep paying the high price because it’s worth it to me and my husband to be seen by Dr. Morris and work with his staff!! It’s an investment, that’s worth investing in.Now onto his staff-They call back ASAP, they listen to their messages and ACTUALLY GET BACK TO YOU. :OIf you have a question on billing/ your appointment they answer accordingly, and if they are unsure, they get back to you pretty quick after they’ve gotten the answer. I’ve even had a girl call me after “official hours” to help me make sure my results were sent in. It’s incredible to have a staff care about you too! They always ask how I’m doing, and I truly feel a warm welcome. The nurses that take you back are so kind. I truly appreciate the professionalism of the staff. I have been to many other appointments with other office staff that again, I end up leaving in tears because they’re so horrible. I’ve had other office staff at my other doctors appointments lose my blood work more than once, never call back after I’ve left a message, and just seem so understaffed/over worked. I get frustrated for them, but frustrated for myself as well. Not Dr. Morris’s staff. They seem well trained, well staffed, and well taken care of.Last but not least, I know this is strange to note, but as someone with GAD I get anxious in cold and unwelcoming offices. The lobby is decorated almost like a home and is so cute. It makes me feel more calm from the moment I walk in. I know it’s a men’s specialty clinic, but as a woman. This is a nice calming touch.

My husband had a procedure done with Dr Morris about 8 months ago. As a nurse, I researched the heck out of the providers in the area and Dr Morris seemed like the best bet! My husband went on his own, said the staff was great, procedure fast, and recovery a breeze. My husband tells his friends “it’s the easiest thing I’ve ever done”! That speaks volumes! He loved Dr Morris’ bedside manner and apparently they threw back and forth a few jokes. Since my husbands procedure were referred AT LEAST 10 friends there, ALL OF THEM have had an amazing experience, minimal discomfort, and a very easy recovery! We’ve had a couple of friends who have NOT gone to Dr Morris and they’ve had MUCH different experiences (sadly). If you’re on the fence as about who to see, GO SEE DR MORRIS!!! You will not regret it!

If you are making this choice as a couple and it’s important that you do this together please don’t go to him! Horrible communication! I have yet to find a doctor or friend that didn’t allow a loved one in the room if the patient wanted them there. To begin, my husband called to set up the appointment in Draper and wanted me to be there so he asked for the times and said “I want my wife there so let me call you back so I can check her schedule” (he should have been informed at that moment that I wasn’t allowed in the room during the procedure). He called them back to set the date believing it was the Draper office as that’s what he had said he wanted. The day before the appointment we find out that it’s in Spanish Fork, super inconvenient but fine we go. For both of us it was very important that we did it together as we together had made this choice for our family. Not until moments before the procedure were we told I had to leave the room and I was not allowed to be there. Yes, we should have had our wits about us to just leave and we wish now that we did. My husband’s incision was taking longer to heal than it should have so we had to go back in to make sure it was healing right. During that visit we told him how disappointing this entire procedure was. I explained that I had called other offices around the valley and couldn’t find another doctor that wouldn’t let a loved one in the room, in fact most of them thought it was strange that I wasn’t allowed in. He said that he didn’t care what these small doctors around the valley did. He was the best and he would only talk to his friends from around the world. I found this to be completely unprofessional and arrogant considering the ones here in the valley are his colleagues. He did say he would add something that night onto his website about not allowing a loved one in the room during the procedure. That was 2 weeks ago and still no change. As for the procedure itself it was just as described on his website so I am told. My husband had very little pain and recovery was easy.If you are single or it’s not a big deal for you as a couple if your spouse is there he might be a fine choice. However, for us it was incredibly important and we should have made a different choice as he is not the only one in the valley that does the no needle, no scalpel procedure.

This is the only time a man has fondled my balls and I was happy about it afterwords.Dr Morris is amazing, he was funny and personable, the procedure was quick, painless, and downright comfortable. I took one ibuprofen on the first day, and that was it.I highly recommend you let this guy handle your manhood.

As far as vasectomies go, it was a positive experience. Mission accomplished in the end. Dr. Morris had a great bedside manner. The office staff is also very helpful. **>>Edit: Obviously this review was left by my husband, I never had a vasectomy :-D Were both very happy with this service though.<<

Dr. MorrisIs the best hands down! Called to check on the progress of my healing. Took his time and was super honest about what was going to happen and what it was going to feel like.I would highly recommend someone to get a vasectomy here I would have paid 1000$ so at 799$ its worth every penny..

Had a nice conversation about rock climbing while he worked on my.. performed the vasectomy. I had the procedure done 8 days ago. Pretty sore for the first 5 days but still worked. Very active, home building. Climbed 7 days later. I will do everyone a favor and not post a picture!

Its better to have one part on your nut sack cut than two.The whole reason I chose this was its the fastest recovery and, least painful.I was able to run and lift weights within a week, the Doc was super kind the next day it even being thanksgiving called to make sure the boys were doing okay.My wife and, I laughed because of the lovely jock strap. You definitely need to take some memorable pictures of this event hahaha😂😂

Friendly and professional staff puts your mind at ease. I mean these are the family jewels were talking about here...Absolutely painless and quick procedure. Dr Morris explained everything that he was going to do. No stitches, pain, swelling, etc of any kind!
