Valley Creek Spa in Utah County

I purchased the mothers Day spa package for my wife. They sent an email saying they would send the gift certificate in the mail. The gift certificate was never sent. I attempted to call them numerous times over several weeks and no one ever answered the phone or return messages. I attempted to contact them on Facebook Messenger and I never received a response. We even stopped by the door was closed and the lights were all off. I checked their website they say they are looking for people to do the exact thing the spa package includes. I dont think they have any employees or are even open. I believe this place right now is a complete scam and would say to anyone who thinks about going there to stay away. Definitely dont order anything from them online.

I came to get a massage for my birthday. And arrived 15 minutes early to be ready with the paperwork. After a half hour rolled by I finally had the receptionist come out and told me she would help me out in a minute. She followed her friend out the door to finish gossiping with her for about five minutes before she came out to help me. Once she finally helped me she told Me my appointment had been canceled about 45 minutes ago. They had just sent an email and canceled with no explanation less than an hour before my appointment. This is very unprofessional and I lost out on money because I had to get a babysitter. I would most definitely not recommend them. Let me add that they responded with complete LIES! The girl working there so they never showed up, and she never asked for my number or anything, she just said she couldn’t help me. And we double checked and they had our correct number.

Genuinely disappointed with my experience. I bought my wife and I massages in January for a Valentines gift and called and left messages 3 or 4 times before someone finally reached out to me through text. I was told the soonest appointment was March 20th. I was then contacted via text again 3 days before our appointment for them to tell me that they had 2 employees quit so we had to reschedule. When I expressed my disappointment with the situation and asked what they would do extra because of our poor experience they told me to reach out to Groupon for a refund. I strongly suggest you find somewhere else to spend your time and money. The actions of the employees here suggest that they dont care for either of them and will gladly waist them for you.Edit: Nothing makes you want to come back here like getting a heated response from the owner, insulting you and calling you a child while dodging all accountability for the business being unprofessional. Let it be known that my conversation was not rude, I simply asked for compensation for my troubles and the response I got was, “ You will have to go back to Groupon to get a refund. We have not done the service and have not been paid for it.” It’s clear they only care about making money and not delivering quality service. Also, them rescheduling has nothing to do with COVID, but the owner losing employees. After seeing his reply, it’s not hard to imagine why they left. Thank you Bill!

The massage room was dark yet cozy and had a calm ambiance about it. The male massage therapist was great at communication. My wife had a little trouble with the female massage therapist as she would not apply enough pressure even after my wife spoke up multiple times. Make sure you are not afraid to ask again and again what you want so that you have a pleasant experience.

Jeff was amazing!!! He did some fancy finger work as he went up and down my back. His pressure was perfect for my troublesome neck. He pushed hard in the areas I asked for and lightened his touch on tender areas. The couples massage was an adventure and fun. I am so glad I did this. It was perfect. Even got the massage drunk.

My husband and I had a couples massage. The atmosphere was calm and serene. The massage therapists we had were professional and very good at helping us relax and enjoy the experience. As a massage therapist myself, I would highly recommend Valley Creek!

My husband and I came in for a couples massage and the whole experience was great! Weve had lots of massages before but the atmosphere and attention to detail at Valley Creek Spa were amazing. I appreciated the decor and valentines themed rooms, it made the day feel special- all around a super cute day spa! I also highly recommend Jeff for your swedish massage, his touch and pressure were spot on!

We thoroughly enjoyed our couples massage experience. It started with a warm foot soak as they prepared the massage space for us. We were treated to Quiet music 🎶 in the small waiting area along with drinks and a shot glass of a yummy dessert. The therapists provided clear communication on what to expect and asked for our feedback. The room was warm, with low lightning and calming music. Their services were professional and left us renewed.

Heather and Jeff were both amazing! We did a couples massage and got a foot soak, dessert, a mocktail, and some aromatherapy at the end of it all. It was high quality and the masseuses both really seemed like they were feeling for specific things in our bodies rather than just going through the motions. We would definitely recommend Valley Creek Spa!

Got a couples massage and had a great time, the staff was very nice and made sure we were comfortable. They dont pressure you into anything and make sure to ask and guide you through the massage process. I feel a lot more relaxed than I expected going in.

After looking at past reviews it looks like almost everyone who had a Groupon had a bad experience. I feel like they give their bad/new/student massage therapists to the Groupon customers.My wife and I received a couples massage and both had low quality massages. Both therapists felt timid and awkward. Never had such a bad experience and I have received a lot of massages. Everyone was very kind. I am editing my previous review which detailed issues with therapist communication and hygiene because I felt like the details weren’t helpful. Training can go a long way to take care of the problems I encountered. If the business cares to hear my issues and wants to improve I’ll share them with the owner. I would like a refund and that would help me be a happier customer.

Great staff and awesome service! Jeff and Kat were great at our couples massage. Kat was very attentive and adaptive - she made sure to explain to me all we were going to do during my (firstprenatal massage. The room is clean and calming and the treats were very appreciated.If I had to change only one little thing wouldve been the background music - which was mainly instrumental versions of radio songs. That didnt bother my husband that much but my music-wired brain kept singing along instead of turning off and relaxing even more. But Im positive they wouldve cater to our liking if we had said something.All in all, this is a hidden gem in northern Provo with nice prices too (check out Groupon for deals)

Did a couples massage with a foot soak. The staff was very nice and asked for specific areas of focus for the massage. The room was low lit and had soft relaxing music. Massage was very pleasant and we would definitely go back. Only complaint was the footsoak tub was small and won’t fit bigger feet comfortably.

So just as a disclaimer, this was my first massage experience, so I really don’t have anything to compare it to. The massage therapists were pretty incredible and overall it was a super relaxing experience. We will likely be going there again in the future.

We came to valley creek spa for my husbands birthday and we had a wonderful experience! Our massage therapists, Kat and Darin did such an amazing job. It didn’t receive the full 5 stars because at the end, the owner of the shop was incredibly rude to the therapist. It was shocking. Aside from that, I would highly recommend both Kat and Darin!

The massage was amazing! My husband and I loved every bit of it! I am giving the place 4 stars because the carpet was a little dirty to be walking bare foot on and our foot soak and dessert was right by the nail salon area. It was hard to relax but we did enjoy hearing the stories being talked about behind the curtain :)

Mine and my husbands first time getting a massage, it was an awesome experience. Wonderful customer service, very friendly and kind. Our entire body feels brand new. Kat did an absolute perfect massage and Darren worked on my husband. We feel amazing, worth the amount plus more.

My husband and I came today to celebrate our First Anniversary. We had the Couples Retreat package. I want to start off with the positives. Bill, the owner, communicated expeditiously. If he missed my call, he would call or text back within an hour. He made sure that we had our questions answered and were taken care of. As for the services, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our foot soak. There was a nice treat and mocktail for us while we spent 15 minutes in comfortably warm water. Our masseuses, Jeff and Derrin, came to greet us and dry our feet. They asked us for our massage preferences and led us to our room for our side-by-side massage. They were very friendly and soft spoken. Derrin was my masseuse. He was receptive when I asked for softer pressure and made sure I was comfortable the whole while. I appreciated that neither of them were talkative AT ALL. This was my husbands first massage experience, and he was VERY pleased.Now, for the not so great things; they werent huge issues, but issue enough to warrant a 4 star experience as opposed to a 5. While Bill was diligent in getting back to us, I felt his customer service was lacking in the beginning. When I mentioned it was our first year anniversary, he just kind of asked if we were getting the Couples Retreat. No real acknowledgement of the celebration or our excitement. I didnt feel he was rude or anything, but he could have been a bit friendlier, more welcoming. The area for the foot soak was covered by a curtain, which was nice, but there were people walking back and forth. I would have liked to have been secluded from the bustle. Derrin was great, but I had mentioned that I wanted the focus to be on my lower back. I did not get the focus as requested. Usually, after a massage, I dont feel pain when I sit up. I still had the ache in my lower back when it was all said and done. The rest of my body felt renewed, just not my lower back.All in all, I would definitely go back again. As they currently stand, $80 for a Swedish, $90 for a deep tissue. Thats an absolute STEAL. The talents of these masseuses arent less than that of a larger/franchised spa, so Im surprised that its so cheap. I wouldnt be surprised if prices go up in the future. Worth the money and worth stopping by to see for yourself.

My review is based on the customer service and quality of the massage. Id recommend they update decor and wall color. However, Kat and Jeff gave us our couples massage. Kat has magic hands and it was one of the best massages Ive had. My husband also loved his massage. Highly recommend.

Very professional! I have had a lot of massages in my life time and this one tops the charts! They focused on areas I specified, and clarified with me exactly what I was wanting. Very kind staff. It was a lovely way to start a romantic evening with my husband! Will be returning!

I LOVED our experience here. We got a couple’s massage and the therapists assigned to us were AMAZING and respectful. The environment is clean and well designed. The manager is also very accommodating and very customer service oriented. We loved as part of our package the foot soak and refreshments that were served. For sure going here again!

My husband and I had the couples massage package gifted to us. It was our first massage and wow!!! It was fantastic!!! It was an amazing experience from the first moment to the last. Jeff and Darin were professional and competent and did everything possible to make our experience a great one. We will definitely be doing this again soon.

Weird, tacky and awkward. Not very professional for a spa and massage place. Their massages are not professional massages, and it’s not a relaxing place for a massage either. There’s lots of light and bright colors which is not what you want for a relaxing massage. It felt like a business office decided to be a spa so they tried to turn their office into a spa. The massages were the worst massages we have ever had. My wife and I could not relax the whole time. And my wife’s therapist used her knuckles to massage her, and she used them on places where there’s bones not muscles so now my wife is bruised and in pain from it. My wife did a maternity massage so she laid on her side and the pillow they gave her for her head was absolutely terrible so her neck is in pain now and kinked and they didn’t even massage her neck or shoulders at the end. So now my wife is bruised and has a kinked neck which is not something that should happen with a massage. The customer experience is not a focus here. All they want is your money. And don’t believe all these good reviews because they ask you to leave a review right there in front of them when you check out, so lots of people don’t want to be mean and they leave a good review even if their experience sucked. If you want a good massage and a good experience, don’t go here, even if you get a good deal. It’s not worth it.

My husband and I got the couples massage groupon deal as a gift. It was priced way higher than we would have ever paid but since it was a gift we went and expected superior service and a nice spa. This is not what we got. To start out the location is in the basement of a clinical building and the first thing we noticed was the disgusting carpeting. We immediately knew this was not going to be a high end massage and boy were we right. We have had at least 50 massages between us and know a good massage and massage therapist. While my experience with the male therapist was a tad bit better than my husbands, his was one of the worst he had ever experienced. The therapist had no idea what she was doing and just poked and prodded my husband as if she were the receptionist and was just brought in to help out. He was extremely disappointed. Sorry to give such a bad review but when youre charging such high prices your therapists should have at least some training. This is not a good deal.

Valley Creek Spa was an interesting place. The massages my husband and I got were great! We got a good deal on Groupon for a 15 minute foot soak, treats, and then a couples massage. I wouldnt really consider this location a "spa" however. In my mind spas are supposed to be low-key, private, calming and relaxing, most other places Ive been to are quiet and decorated with soft earth tones to help with the mellow vibe. However, this place has bright turquoise all over and is decorated a little bit like a little girls accessory store. The owner seemed very nice but took loud phone calls and was having a loud and awkward conversation with one of the employees while we were sitting nearby in the "retreat" area.Overall the "spa" itself was pretty tacky and not very relaxing, and we waited for a long time until our massage was ready which was unfortunate. But once we got in to the massage room it was very private and relaxing and the massages were great! Our therapists did an excellent job, they were both men which was strange at first but they were very professional and did well! So if youre looking for a good massage this place can accommodate you, but if you want an overall relaxing experience this might not be the spa for you.

From the entrance throughout the entire experience you are met with warm smiles and sincere hospitality. The decor is so very well thought out and the attention to detail is incredibly beautiful! We did a couples massage and we had the pleasure of having Hannah and Jeff! They are incredible and thorough and are constantly checking to make sure you have the most positive experience! I highly recommend this establishment and these two massage therapists! Go now and enjoy a relaxing day together!

The most amazing and best massage my husband and I have ever received. Staff was so friendly and supergirl helpful and recognized and paid attention to your needs. Such a relaxing atmosphere. Will never go anywhere else again, and will be recommending to everyone!

I’m pregnant and just had my first prenatal massage. It was HEAVENLY. I had Kat and my husband had Jeff. The atmosphere was amazing and calm.I feel so relaxed and Kat worked all the kinks out of my neck and back.Definitely going back! Every pregnant woman should get a massage.

I bought a massage to this “spa” from Groupon. It was priced slightly higher than most massages I have received so I expected it to be a very good massage. That was not what happened. Maybe I’m wrong, but I would think most women would prefer a massage from another woman - especially given the fact that you’re barely wearing any clothing during a massage. This spa doesn’t tell you who will be massaging you or give you the option when you book - like other spas I’ve been to. However, when I realized the masseuse was male, I told myself it would probably be fine and as long as he worked on my neck - which I specified both on the intake form and in person (both prior to the massage and during,then it would work out. He must have forgotten shortly after all three times I specified my severe neck pain and my preference for him to focus there, because no special attention was given to this painful area at all. On top of that, the hot stones were almost unbearably hot. I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything because any time I spoke to the masseuse he seemed very distant, almost like he wasn’t actually listening to me. Towards the end, he asked if it would be okay to end with a foot massage, I said I would prefer more time on my neck (since none was given to treat my issue.He said okay but all he did was run both sides again and put a hot towel under my neck. Overall, I’m still in pain, the quality of both the spa itself and the massage was pretty low and very disappointing. I’m upset I spent almost the same cost as any other massage elsewhere would have cost and got a very mediocre massage.

We got a couples massage here, and it was great! It was a very relaxing environment with nice decor. The massage therapists were friendly and professional, willing to change anything to meet our needs and comforts. Since it was our first time, they took the time to explain everything to us and make sure we felt at ease. We would highly recommend!

The owner Bill is kind and accommodating. They give great deals to freeplay members. I have gotten multiple massages here, all well done and professional. My most recent massage was done by Jeff and it was probably the best massage I’ve had in my life. Very considerate and went over time to make sure I was able to get all the focus on areas I asked for. Go see them!!

My wife and I got massages here for our anniversary which we both thought were great! Jeff was very professional and made our first time here welcoming and a good experience. There is a little room for some constructive criticism that actually has nothing to do with the massages which Ill leave here as it seems they have addressed the complaints of many other reviews already which I think is great. We didnt hear any advertisements during the music, however a few times the music just stopped randomly for about a minute and then came back. Its not a huge deal but it was distracting and detracts for the relaxation. The second and last thing is that the Epsom salt foot bath at the start was too hot. Im sure if I would have said something at the time they would have been accommodating but at first I thought it might just be me so I didnt say anything. By the time we went in for the massages we still couldnt leave our feet in the water for more than a few seconds at a time and my skin felt a bit irritated and burned the rest of the night. Hopefully this helps improve the experience for others in the future!Definitely recommend getting a massage here!

Overall the experience was okay. The place is clean and well put together. They’re very courteous & respectful. But the massage was just ok. Between the room being freezing, the heavy breathing of the masseuse, and being asked “how are we doing on pressure” every 5 minutes I found it impossible to relax. I came out feeling more on edge and stressed than before. I also wish he spent more time on my legs. I still have a lot of soreness and tight leg muscles from working out - which was the main reason I wanted a massage. I feel like I wasted my money.

Weve been to get massages here 3 different times, and have been treated well on all occasions. Its located in a pretty small facility, so its not quite as "cozy" as other places, but the professional and respectful staff have left us with nothing but good things to say about Valley Creek Spa. We will return! The therapists listen carefully and do their job well!

Husband and I went here for a couples massage for my birthday we usually go to sego lily spa that is much higher priced. Since this one had mostly good reviews. The mocktails and cheesecake were nice with the foot bath but we could hear coughing the entire time & a job interview going on during our 15 minute relaxing time which was kinda odd. I was generally OK with that. The massage therapists were nice, but literally the worst massage Ive ever gotten. Husband and I both felt that way and we have gotten a lot of massages in the past. We feel like our people were giving the first massages theyd ever given it was SO bad & in the weirdest order bouncing all around. Also Two areas I marked, hips & shoulders were not even massaged but their technique was not even worth telling them. We both just wanted it to be over!! I left In more pain than I came in because nothing got worked out. Id go to a massage school 10x over before ever considering going here again. Way cheaper and way better massages! Wish I wouldve got a massage therapist people raved about in reviews. Even for half what we paid I wouldnt go back. We stilled tipped because we are classy people and I NEVER write bad reviews but this time, I just had to it was SO BAD.

My husband I got a couples massage. I researched this spa and read every review before booking the appointment. Ive gotten a lot of massages before and Im a pretty critical person and expect the perfect experience when spending a lot of money on something like this.I was not disappointed!!! Valley Creek Spa is a whole experience, not just a massage. Their floor to ceiling decor immediately transports you to another world. Its so cutely decorated in bright turquoise and bright white, with accents of gray. Someone mentioned that it was like a basement apartment in their review. I dont know how they could even make that parallel. If I hadnt walked downstairs I wouldnt have known I was in the basement. Its so bright and light.Except the massage room which got the mood just perfect. So, so soothing! I didnt want to leave.Our package included a foot soak and treat at the beginning and it was just the cutest. Jeff and Hannah were our massage therapists. I loved how clearly and thoroughly they communicated with us. It made it so comfortable.Hannah asked about her pressure and the temperature of the heated table and the hot towels they used. After the massage she gave instructions about drinking plenty over the next 24 hours and getting up slowly. They offered water and mints or suckers after the massage.All of these little details make or break an amazing experience and we had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. We will be recommending Valley Creek to all our friends and definitely be returning.

Every single one of the staff members were very welcoming and professional, but also very personable and easy to talk to. The therapists were very talented and provided a great atmosphere and experience. I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for an amazing and relaxing time!

My wife and I have been here multiple times before, and have made a tradition of going on our anniversary scheduling well in advance. We went in 20 minutes early very excited for our massage but no one was in the front office to speak with as we arrived, but we figured no big deal we were very early. 10 minutes after our appointment was supposed to start (30 minutes of waiting in the officesomeone came out and said whatre you doing here? We replied we were scheduled for a couples massage at 6 only to find out they had given their only couples massage room to someone else who had just walked in without an appointment just a few minutes before us, and that they were booked for the next two hours. Other then watching two employees bicker over whos fault it was nothing happened except them telling us to come back later. When we returned however they gave us a free upgrade to our massage and really turned the experience around

Had tight back, glutes, neck, shoulders and sore hands so my wife bought a groupon and sent me here.Andre worked all of my troubled areas and provided a high quality deep tissue massage. He also educated me on some stretches to do throughout the day to help with pecks and t band.Place is calm, clean, and serene. Very relaxing and kind staff.

The therapists were amazing, The little extras make a big difference. The owners were very involved in making sure we left satisfied. We cant wait to go back.

The spa itself is beautifully decorated and had a calming energy as soon as you walked in. My husband has never had a massage but he felt great after and we will for sure be coming back. Very impressed with the facility and the massage therapists. The one Ive had knows what he is doing and Ive benefited greatly because of it. It means a lot when youre experiencing pain. Always been a great experience.I brought in my daughters and daughter in law for a girls retreat and they were so good to accommodate all 7 of us! And every one of us had a good experience and were very satisfied.I highly recommend this place and Ive been to a lot of different places!

My wife had never got a massage before and the therapist did a great job of explaining everything and making her feel very comfortable! Went in for a couples massage and had a fantastic time! Millie and Martha are very, very good at what they do. It was my friends first massage ever and he loved it. He wouldnt stop talking about how amazing his shoulders felt. 10/10 would go again.

I was surprised by the way the spa is ran. An employee was wearing a tshirt and sweats and no shoes, appearing to have rolled out of bed, another one was more professionally dressed. No dress code and it appears no training on professionalism as my massage therapist sat on their phone in the waiting room with no empty seats as I came in. I arrived early, finished paperwork before my start time but was not taken back to receive my massage until almost ten minutes into my scheduled appointment. The massage therapist was done with my appointment 8 minutes early. I paid in person, no Groupon voucher but I wish I could go back and pay the lower price that way. Way too expensive for the service. Not an upscale salon and very uncomfortable. The massage therapist also played music on Pandora and it was obvious when commercials came on. Also, it appears any honest reviews left with a negative appearance to the owner is grounds for a long (unapologeticlist of excuses, pushing the blame back to the customer. Very uncool to do.

My husband and I came in for a couples massage and had the best experience we’ve ever had with a spa! My masseuse focused on muscles that no other masseuse worked on before that were so tight. My husband has had a muscular shoulder injury since high school and every place we’ve gone too hasn’t quite found the place to help heal it. His masseuse finally found the place and was able to help his shoulder heal. We weren’t planning on becoming frequent costumers since this was just a birthday treat but we’ve already scheduled our next session because we were so impressed!

Millie did my massage and was very gentle and accommodating to my preference for a lighter touch while my husband was paired with jake who worked his tired, and solid muscles with the intensity he preferred. The atmosphere was relaxing, with some candlelight, gentle calming music, and a warm heated pad that felt very calming. We were very pleased with their service and will be back.

Got the Swedish couples massage here with my significant other and was really impressed. They have a very clean and nicely decorated spa that was very relaxing and inviting. All of the staff were very personable and accommodating. The massage itself was also fantastic of course, the employees seem to genuinely enjoy working there and I think that comes through in their work, which isnt easy.I think I will definitely be back
