Ventura Harbor Village in Ventura County

We spent a couple of hours there for a Halloween event and it was so nice. There were crafts and coloring activities for the kids, a pumpkin carving lady, a Dia de Muertos ofrenda and most of the shops in the area were giving away candy for the trick or treaters. My kids had lots of fun.

Ample parking on a Monday for lunch. Easy to get to from the highway. Will explore more next time.

We had the seafood platter for 2. So good and fresh like the views!! We sat outside along the side of the restaurant coz thats how busy it was!

Always a blast to go there, beautiful location and all kinds of activities to do.

I went to The Greek for an event. What a great restaurant, the food was outstanding. Lynn, the owner is kind and engaging, and its a great place for off-site meetings. The atmosphere is just right, overlooking the harbor.

Such a fun experience for the kids. The selection is awesome 👌. Can wait to visit again

Taking out the arcade was the worst thing they couldve done. Kids loved that place! I loved that place! Ventura Village is a great place to be with family and friends. BRING BACK THE ARCADE!

Beautiful place to spend an afternoon

This is a nice place to visit, whether you just want to hang out at the beach or eat at one of the fine restaurants.

Love this place. Not too busy except during summer maybe. Restaurants, stores, nice walk, sometimes they have events, you can rent a boat, close to the beach.

So fun visiting this area! The clothing stores are a bit too pricey for my taste, but the restaurants in the area are reasonably priced and have delicious food. Not to mention the gorgeous beach right across the street!

The view from the observatory absolutely beautiful

Eat a big lunch at one of the amazing restaurants then walk off the calories along the beach. Great way to spend the afternoon. Be sure to check out the view from the observation deck at the Channel Islands Park visitors center.

Ive been coming to the Ventura Harbor Village for over 30 years. Its a 3 hour one way drive from my home so no as frequently as I would like. I always enjoy strolling around the marina checking out all there is to see and I always grab lunch at Andrias Seafood. I like visiting the the dive shop and the beach as well.

Nice, clean shopping center on the edge of the harbor with fun areas to take pictures, shops relevant to the area (even a place to buy hats for those who forgot one... and you definitely need one), restaurants, and supply stores for the harbor. It is interesting how closely connected the village is to the industrial section of the harbor. It would be nice to have a sidewalk to get from the parking lot over onto the main beach as there does not seem to be one despite the traffic in the area.

My wife and I love this place. Used to eat at Spinnakers all the time, until they changed names. Fun to watch the boats come and go.

Fun seaside shopping and dinning

My family and I had a fantastic time waking the beach, then shopping and eating here. There was a gas fire and the chocolate shop "Top This" was great! My partner didnt like the Cajun preparation of his "local fish" he said it was a little dry.

Great place to walk around and hang out. Is great food, Great stores to find knickknacks and things.

Will definitely come more often. Want to rent the duck boat and paddle out next time. Lots of yummy food to choose from. And the ice cream creations are delicious 😋

Ventura Harbor Village is alwaysa treat, I visit often. Lots of fun things to do, especially on the weekends, live music, good food & sweats, shops, friendly people, nice beach right across the street. Always a great visit. Plus the Channel Islands NP Vistor Center is also in the same area, within walking distance.

Cute little shopping center with plenty of parking. Theres boat rentals, shopping and eating. Beautiful area and kept very clean. Theres bathrooms and an ATM available too.

Beautiful views and a great little seafood restaurant. Nice beach access across the street.

This is a very popular place for locals as well as tourists. This is one of the nicest places in the Oxnard area. It has a nice walk with many restaurants and shops in a walking distance. Great place for taking photos as well. Its perfect for a family and a handicap friendly facility. There are plenty of parking spaces, you just have to drive around their huge parking lot.

Nice little shopping center to get gifts and have a walk round. There are also a few good restaurants here, especially the Boatyard Pub.

Hadnt been in years. Still a great place to shop and eat. One of restaurants was on kitchen nightmares with Gordon Ramsey. Looks as if it is still going strong. And dont forget the beautiful ocean to admire. With ships at port and you can even rent to use.

Ventura Harbor Village is a great place to enjoy the best of what Ventura has to offer. Parking is usually easy to find and there is no parking fee. There is a boardwalk to stroll on that is adjacent to many restaurants and shops. There are a lot of boats ( all sizes in the harbor that are interesting to see as well. There is a Merry-go-round for children too. There is no shortage of thimhs to do.

Great place to stroll around. Carousel, ice cream, gift shops, fresh fish market & many restaurants too suit anyone.

Visiting our "home" we stopped at the harbor to buy a few souvenirs. Had a blast. Granddaughter loved the birds and we enjoyed the harbor. Kudos to the cupcake place...so yummy

Food here is always yummy😋 shopping center has a lot to offer.Live music band at the Margarita Restaurant. Overall it is Fantastic!

This place is very big, lots of things to do, lots to eat, lots of fun, very clean, people were excellent and respectful, amazing views and I could of spent days there. It really is now my my favorite place to visit! Thebparking was crazy though. So many people and so many cars because of all the attractions. Also I have a EV car so it was good to go shopping and get my car charged too!!

Love this harbor! Quaint and serene, and oh so artsy. If you are in the mood to just unwind with your spouse, or get the kids out of the house for some fresh air and ice cream, this is the place to go!

One of the best destinations to visit in Ventura county. We visited this place on our way to Santa Barbara.This is a delightful place to play, eat and get entertained. Plenty of water sports with kayaking as one of the most popular water activities. There are excursion boats for scuba diving and snorkeling.The Ventura State Park within the Village has plenty of space for picnic and playing with dogs.When you’re hungry, there are many great restaurants with prices fit all budgets. My favorite is the the seafood market where you can have the freshest seafood for lunch or dinner.If you come with kids, they will love you if you stop by the Fish Cone parlor to get some Taiyaki ice creams for them. I think the ice cream is good for adults too 😉After tired of walking, just find a seat at the Copa Cubana and order a margarita to relax and enjoy the live Cuban music. Or you can just enjoy the bottomless Cuban Mimosas while relaxing on the open patio and take in the beautiful view of the Ventura Harbor.

Nice shopping place , come and enjoy the weekend here close to the beach.

Very picturesque place to visit. Lots of places to eat or just picnic and look at the boats.Beach just a short walk away.

Family trip. With the situation we are living now with the pandemic and all the place feels secured and well organized. We eat in Copa Cubana place and we love it. Good place, recommended

Cool little shops, great ambience. Great place to just walk around and enjoy the marina views. There were many people walking their dogs. There was plenty of parking even on a busy day.

Lots of masked visitors. Restaurants with outdoor seating were bustling with patrons, and people enjoying the grassy areas overlooking the marina. Its a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather without taking big risks regarding infection from the virus.

My fiance and i went and had a great time. We recommend the paddle boats... it was fun and a good workout. They also have electric boats and paddle boards wich seem fun, We might try the electric boat next time with Our kids.

So much to see, so many places to eat and buy gifts. Great place to walk and see the sights and smell the smells.

At first, I wasnt sure what to expect but it turns out this place is a nice hidden gem! The boardwalk extends throughout the village center and all the way to the end of the marina. There are a lot of different shops (i.e. food, bars, icecream, etc.and there is an abundance of available parking! The views of the marina and mountains are lovely. This is totally a nice day getaway.

Love this place for its affordable amenities... Pedal boats offer exercise and fun, Surf and Taco have award winning fish and chips, great ice cream parlor, and great beach experience just a walk away 😎👍👍👍👍👍

This is a great place to walk, dine, and relax. The two resteraunts I have tried here are great! They often have local musicians and bands playing. Unfortunately, several of the shops close early (4-5), so shopping after work is very limited and weekends are really crowded. The shops that do stay open are fun! I will be posting individual ratings for them.
