Eswin is my go to guy. He is friendly,curtious, and always willing to help. I have had a lot of problems with phones holding up to my job and he always takes the time to look for and set me up with what I need. Great place GREAT person. Would recommend to anyone.

Short wait and it was a Saturday. Appreciate the time spent making sure I was happy with the purchase and setting up my new phone.

Esther a salesperson in the Emporia store sold me two iPhone upgrades end of last year(2021), with me trading in 2 iPhones and I still cant get her or her company to give me the discounts she promised. She has ghosted my calls, emails and txt messages for 8 months. The entire company seems fraudulent and shady. I would not recommend anyone doing business with them. I would go directly to Verizon or Apple to buy phones. Her manager Todd has been very nice but has gotten no where in resolving the problem. He has been "working on it" for almost 3 weeks now with nothing to show for it.

Chris S. at Verizon is Tech Smart; Cares About People; and gives Great Customer Service! He asked about my typical phone usage and sold me the phone that was the best match for me. Chris was always Professional, Knowledgeable and Patient. I had issues with my new phone and had to go back to Verizon a couple of times; I am very satisfied with the Cellular Sales & Service I received from every member of the staff who helped me.

I switched over to Verizon from AT&T about six months ago. I have been over billed every single month. The folks at this store haven’t been able to help to date. To put it into perspective my bills have been up to 5 times what they should be at times. It has been a miserable experience, it should not be this difficult. I’m not saying these folks aren’t friendly; they are, but don’t be fooled by the friendliness…our billing situation is still not rectified. Simply recapping and relaying my experience. Thanks!!!

Esther and Tim were amazing handle ever problem / situation that we had and made the whole process extremely easy and very cheerful and didnt get annoyed or bothered by the millions questions we had change my bad past experiences we have had at this verizon sore truly happy and will be bringing our business back and recommending to our friends and family

The store is fair. It takes forever to get anything done. Your system is always down in the store got people coming in needing help and they cant even get it its a mess thats all I got to say

Destroyed my iphone with the mower! Yikes! Called Chris at Cellular Sales, made an appointment for the same day at 6 pm and he was ready with the phone we discussed. With the upgrade I was due and after my husband upgraded his Android we were in new phones, all data transferred, within an hour. Chris is knowledgeable, engaging and efficient. Great experience!

Came in 4 people working 4 people being waited on. No chairs to sit in unless you pull one from a desk. After one of the workers gets done with their customer he waves at me and then goes in the back. So I sit and wait to pay my bill until one of the other workers gets done. Not happy.

I came in for help with an inferior product I was sold,and was told "I dont care". A major part of my decision to switch to Verizon was for their customer service and so far that has been C- at best. Shouldve stayed where I was.

Very satisfied with the customer service Ive received from this store. Eswin reached out to see how we were doing with our phones, as we have worked with him before. Just so happened we already had plans to come into the store a day later. We live about an hour away so he made us an appt with him and stayed in contact to be sure he was available when we were to arrive. He did a wonderful job getting one of our lines upgraded and adding a tablet. Also knew we were in a rural area and got us hooked up with a jet pack, going to save us so much as we looking into service providers for WiFi. Made sure we got all the discounts applicable. He also checked in with us the next day to make sure the new phone was working out. All employees in the store were friendly.

Went to this store to download & activate new phone ordered online. Appreciate downloading contacts which really helps. She pulled card from old phone rather than using new 5G card. Thought that was strange. Phone ring worked & was told everything was done before headed out store. Yes, I paid for this service. Charged phone when got home - 50 miles away. Could call out & receive calls but nothing else. Called this store several times next day & no one answered. Called Verizon & they took me thru steps to put correct 5G card in phone & activated phone. Learned phone had not been activated day before. Called this store to discuss with gal errors but she was not working that day. Guy was with a customer & said he would call back. No call back to me. Not impressed with gal tech skills.

Had a great experience with the Verizon store in Emporia. The representatives were very nice, patient and knowledgeable. Very happy we made the change to Verizon!

Went in to apply for the Military discount. Debbie told me twice that she would be right with and I acknowledged both times. While was assisting a lady get a new phone set up, Debbie was in everyone else conversations and then talking to a customer on the phone trying to make a sell. When I did get my chance to talk to her, she was rude and told that I need to take care of that issue myself. I said thanks and went back when she wasnt working. Problem solved.

I recently received the most exemplary service from Eswin at the Emporia retail store. After AT&T incorrectly told me that my mother’s landline number could be ported over to her new address, I panicked, because, with her move to assisted living, I knew how important having her old number would be for her. I then discovered I could add Mom to my Verizon account and use a special wireless device to transfer her home number. I contacted the Emporia store, and Eswin ordered the device that day and called me immediately after it arrived.He gave me detailed instructions on how to set it up, which I was unable to do before returning home to California because the service was activated after I left.The most amazing part of Eswin’s service was that he went to my 89-year-old Mother’s assisted-living apartment on his lunch break to set the device up for her. She just wouldn’t have been able to do it herself. She now is reconnected to friends and family, which is huge for her. I am truly awed by Eswin’s kindness. Plus, he told me he can reduce my monthly Verizon bill, so I’m going to follow up with him ASAP!

I came to the store to exchange a cellphone that I had bought just days earlier. I sat down with Debbie and explained my situation. She said that I need the charger to make the exchange. I live a block away and told her id be back in 5. She then responded with, "So youre going to make us wait on you?" It was about 4pm. I said "no, Ill find someone who knows what customer service is." Ive been a customer for 8 years. I called the Verizon 800 number, but they didnt care to much about the situation and said I had to use the store because thats where I bought it from. While I was on the phone in front of the store, Debbie came to my vehicle to say that she would help me, but i was done with her at that point. On a good note, Eswin has been very helpful every other time that Ive been there and Id prefer to see him over anyone else that Ive had the pleasure of meeting there before.

For at least 6+ years we have been a Verizon customer. Our continued relationship has been because of Eswin. He is the sole reason we have purchased multiple contracts and phones. His professionalism, knowledge, and personality all have made a wonderful experience. From my knowledge working with people, Eswin is the type of employee whom a business must employ. My experience with Emporia Verizon store has been nothing but positive . I never have to wait very long and most associates make an effort to recognize my presence when I arrive at the store . Eswin Rios has been most helpful to me even if I have a question and he’s not at work he will always find a way to help me out when I’m having an issue. I have had times my mother has had problems with her phone and when we walk in everyone has been very hospitable and take their time to make sure they understand our problem and then help us..

Shelby was GREAT to work with! She helped find the perfect phone for me! I also got airpods and a new apple watch that i LOVE!I was a little disappointed in the store though. They had a staff member on hand, Debbie, who could be overheard making really rude and condescending remarks to the clients she was working with. I was more than pleased I was not having to work with her.

I got my mother a new phone for Xmas and Edwin Rios was super helpful and compassionate given my mother isn’t the most tech savvy. He was patient and answered her multiple questions throughout the process. Thank you!!

Debbie at the Emporia Verizon office ROCKS! She was very helpful, thoughtful, and through. She followed through like she said she would and kept in contact to make sure we were doing good and if we needed any other service. She is truly an asset to Verizon and I am glad that she was the one who helped me!

They sold me a defective phone, then refused to honor the warranty. I was outside the warranty because I was doing diagnosing they asked me to do. I was then told that Verizon corporate cant tell them waht to do because they dont work for Verizon. They added a line to the account for a device that doesnt exist. The added over $100 in charges to the account for things like roadside assistance that I had explicitly told them to remove when I bought my phone. They also charged restocking fees on replacement phones so I could get a working one. Took nearly 2 months for me to get a working phone. My family will either go to Wichita or Topeka from now on

Shelby Jordan was kind and most helpful, she guided me through the choices and made sure I was comfortable with spending what I thought was a lot of money for me phones. Good job to her, she does Verizon proud!

Shelby is a homegurrrll. 10/10 recommend. My car charger/aux cord bit the dust. I had to listen to the radio. Times were tough. But then like a true hero, Shelby shed some light and saved the day. She hooked me up with the perfect replacement and HAND DELIVERED it. Talk about seriously awesome customer service! I can now charge my phone and play my music again. Everything is back to normal and things are looking up. I don’t know what I would have done without Shelby and her expertise. Ashley was very professional in assisting me with renewing my services with Verizon today, Ive been a long time customer who switched over to prepaid due to financial reasons the customer rep explained all the pricing very accurate and explained the phone that I was buying with good detail. Customer rep was nice and did very well at getting me back on with Verizon good job Ashley love this company wouldnt chose any other carrier you guys are awesome.

The people that work here are great but i Cant say that about Verizon the company. So disappointed in Verizon. I Have been with them for about 20 years, back when they were Alltell and had bag phones. Never switched once. They used to brag about their customer service, now they are all about selling you a new phone and not about providing service for for the one you have. I pay $212/month for 2 phones and a tablet to have no phone service 8 miles from Emporia. At one time you could count on someone at the store to help solve your phone issues. Any more the first thing they are trained to do is talk you into replacing the one you just got comfortable with. I was told the phone I had (for about 6 monthscan not handle the updates that are available for the new phones that are out there now. Basically I am being rationed only the updates that Verizon wants me to have. I pay for the best but get a lot less. Just about had enough. Looking at Straight Talk because they use the same towers and service for $65 / month per line. What can you do?

I’ve been wanting to switch back to Verizon for quite some time but just hated to think of the hassle of switching. But it sure helped having an Associate like Debbie—not only was she knowledgeable and super helpful she also made it fun! She is so open to questions at any time of the day and so willing to help!

She was very proficient in explaining the various company policies, procedures and costs involved in starting a plan with Verizon!! You are indeed very fortunate to have her as your employee!! Ashley Sherwood has been helping me with my phone and everything Ive been trying to do to get my phone switched over to the replacement one. Ive had issues with waiting for account recovery with Apple and she has been awesome! She is helping me with my google email also. She is very smart and knowledgeable with all of this and I have her phone number programmed in my phone! She is definitely my "go to girl" when I need assistance with Verizon and my phone!! She had been a savior for my un technical knowledge on this!

My experience at the Verizon Store at 2313 Industrial Road, Emporia, Ks was great!! All Five Stars are marked for Cory Kemper. He was very helpful and did our change out on both phones in less time than any other visits at this same store in Emporia, Ks.Cory was polite, well dressed and was giving his best customer service to us yesterday. I had called manager at the store, and told him we were coming in to change out our phones. He called me back and said to come in to the store, he would be gone at the time, but another employee would step up yo help us and that was Cory Kemper. Way to go!! Thanks!!!*****I was concerned because Cory had called and had text me that Customer Service had said that he had received a bad review from me. I had not made a call or had wrote a review before he got a hold of me. Ashley and Keiona were really great! I was trying to get off of stupid Sprint. They were patient when I had to be on the phone with Sprint for 2 hours. I am super thrilled with my new phone that actually works and being on Verizon. Being with Verizon finally allows me to have service.

Went to the store on Tuesday to talk to a sales rep about my old phone acting up, and the possibility of upgrading early. The team at the Emporia Verizon is top notch, explained all of my options, and even gave me a few suggestions for phones I might like. Needless to say I took a new phone home that night, with the understanding that I could bring it back within 14 days if I didnt like it.It wasnt the phone that had been my first choice, and while it was a great phone, it just wasnt my style. I returned it Wednesday afternoon with absolutely no problems, they got me in and out in no time at all and ordered in the phone I had had my eye on. They got my old phone reconnected for the day and a half it took to ship the new phone to the store.As soon as the phone was in the store I got a call letting me know I could come pick up my new phone whenever I had time. I worked with Ashley to get my new phone all set up, and she made quick work of the set up, all while carrying on a good conversation. I got there around 2:30, and I was out by 3 with my new phone all set up. Ashley even made sure to download a few essential apps for me, since I was switching to a Google phone that didnt come preloaded with the Verizon stuff.I have never had any problems at this Verizon location, and Ashley and the rest of the team are top notch! Strongly recommend this Verizon location to anyone who has questions, or just needs help from a knowledgeable and hard working staff.

Just not a verizon fan. Usually staff is friendly, but not very helpful. This is not a "full" store with privileges (the line I usually am given). They can usually give me a better CS # and I usually get the issue solved fairly quickly. It would just be nice if they c/would do it! ;)

After many outages from Cableone, I finally decided to go to Verizon for my internet and a cell phone. (Until now, Id had only a landline. I visited the Emporia store this morning and was fortunate to work with Ashley Harris.Full disclosure - I am a tech illiterate and have no interest at all in learning more about how it all functions - I just want it to work when I need it! Ashley walked me through the installation process with great patience, and I was sure that I grasped everything. However, when I confronted my computer here at home, alone and mentorless, I couldnt complete the installation.I called Ashley, and she took me as far as she could from a distance, but I still wasnt able to access the internet. I was amazed when she asked for my address and said shed be right over! Needless to say, once she got here, everything went smoothly, and Im connected.If I could give Ashley more than five stars, Id certainly do so. She showed a great deal of patience, never making me feel like the computer idiot that I am, and went far beyond the call of duty. Ill certainly recommend the Emporia Verizon store and Ashley herself any time.

Staff was very fun and helpful. Went to get a new phone and couldnt decide between 4 or 5 models. Ashley showed me all the ones I was interested in and explained pricing, features, incentives, etc. on each one. Best experience Ive had with a phone provider.

With a gun to my head Im here to tell you things about the Verizon store in what time is it in Emporia Troy was really nice and he help my wife and I were happy. Im that is saying were old and tired and 75 she 77 and they did a really great job. they actually sold me some more minutes on my megabytes on my thing there so Im very very happy seriously.

The Verizon store in Emporia Kansas had awesome customer service when I went into the store last week to purchase a new phone and today to file an insurance claim for my sons phone. They were able to get me a new phone I liked and replace my sons phone. Thanks
