Alex was great to work with. They provided a fair bid for the work. After getting 4 other bids I decided to go with Alex because I felt he understood the work that was needed and didnt recommend we replace our whole roof. During the repair, he found some of the materials he quoted didnt need to be replaced and took the money off the final bid. His crew was respectful and left my property clean when they were done. They finished the work quickly so we could have the roof work finished before an incoming rain storm. Overall, Im very pleased with the work they did.

Where to begin……from the start I knew that these guys were special. Their communication was top notch. Any questions I had during the quote process were quickly handled by Nathan (sales repwho was extremely attentive and prompt. The ease of keeping in touch with Alex (ownerduring the job made me feel confident that my needs were being met.I wanted a completely new roof and was told I had 3 layers of shingles including a layer of old wood shake. After I chose APR it was a breeze to get the work scheduled. Johnny (production managerwas swift in helping me make a choice for a roof color. Jeff (project managerwas great at keeping the job details nice and tidy.The work was done over 2 days on April 19th and 20th The demo crew was fast as lightning and very attentive on cleanup. The rain was threatening for the 21st so the roofers hustled on day 2 and absolutely crushed it. Isidro and his roofing crew (Fidel,Geo and Enriquewere respectful and thorough. They had great chemistry and it was easy to tell that these guys have been doing this as a team for awhile.I’ve included a few of pictures of before, during and after the job. The brown was my old roof. I had ridge vents installed with low profile vents to maximize airflow through my attic. The color I chose was the Georgetown Grey. This was an absolute 5 star experience. Small world. I know Alex 6 years ago to repair my gutter but because my mother got sick so I cancelled my appointment with him. This year, I was planning to replace my roof so I called few companies from yelp. I saw Alex profile & he has many good reviews. I finally decided to choose him & I make the right decision, His stuffs is working hard & do a good job. They started working. Last Tuesday until late & Wednesday, my roof was done & no leaking at all. I found it if I know Alex 6 years ago when he text me to get his payment then I saw my old messages between him and me. One of the reasons was the excellent and very specific written estimate of the Sales Rep, Nathan Alva, and I also checked the company’s reviews online.His estimate was in line with three other companies that I had gotten estimates from but I felt strongly to go with Alex. Nathan’s specificity and his obvious customer service skills are what drew me. Alex Knows what he’s doing with roofing. Not only did we need the repairs he recommended, his crew found additional dry rot and water leakage, they fixed it as part of the original quote. Best roofing experience I have had after three homes and three roof projects. Roof was installed November 2021. Alex and his team provided excellent service and do what they say they are going to do. Having worked with dozens of contractors, I was super impressed with how motivated him and his team were to gain my business and ultimately exceed my expectations. I have a fairly large roof on a 50s home and I was concerned with several issues: Dry rot, gutters, venting, etc. Alex and his team worked with me and provided a great roof tear off and install, gutters, plus 3 skylights and 2 solar tubes. I plan to use Alex again for future projects.

The Alex Perezs Roofing team did an awesome job! Everything before/after, start to finish (and everything in betweenwent like clockwork. They tarped up the trouble spot, while I waited to get on the schedule. Tear-off and materials delivered on day 1. Dry rot repaired (along with an unexpected extra repair that was neededand installed the new stuff on day 2. And they cleaned up very nicely afterward.The cost for the job was very reasonable, especially considering the premium, triple layer shingles I selected. The extra repair was also very reasonable - just a relatively small incremental charge for extra materials and time.Ill definitely be calling them again for my future roofing needs. Theyre a great, efficient team that work well together. Its nice to see the folks pictured on their website are the same guys doing the actual work.

They showed up as scheduled, didnt damage anything, and did a great job in 2 days flat. When it became apparent we needed to add a layer of plywood to existing 3/8 plywood deck, which was very flimsy, they were able to get and place the material without delay. They had carpenters who did some rafter repair, including one that we hadnt even discussed. So I was quite satisfied and the new roof looks great.

Alex came out to look at our roof. He doesn’t service the kind of roof we have, which he was able to tell us right away. But, even knowing his company wasn’t going to do the work, he got on our roof to see if he could figure out the issue and gave us a temporary patch for the leak. He referred us to another company that does work on our roof. He was very friendly and did this free of charge. We will definitely contact Alex if we need a new roof in the future!

Alex was extremely prepared and forthright about what he was offering. His team came in like a elite navy seal team and removed,clean, installed, cleaned and installed a roof in 4 days. I swear if not for the great reviews of how efficient and respectful Alexs team of roofing seals were, I would have know they had done all that. I could not be more happy with my new roof. APR made the process so easy.After giving me a quote it looked like my appointment would be a couple weeks out. No problem. But Alex called and scheduled my appointment within days. I got a Quote on Thursday and they were out on Tuesday and finished on Wednesday. They cleaned up along the way. It was seamless, clean and stress free. No hiccups or bumps along the way. I got exactly what I wanted. Just know when he says they will be there at 7am he means 7am sharp.

From the first time I spoke with Alex, he was professional, real, good guy, and modest. I had a very large tree fall in a storm and land on my roof. It did quite a bit of damage to the roof and our patio cover. He gave me an estimate and when i scheduled the roof repair, he told me it would take 4 days. Alex even took time out of his personal time in the evenings to answer questions and talk. The removal crew showed up first thing in the morning and had the roof and broken parts torn away and then his crew went to work with the repairs and install. We recently finished a backyard construction project that went over budget and the completion date was delayed by almost 3 months. We werentooking forward to another project but storm damage to our roof required repairs and a reroof. After several bids, we received considerable data including some conflicting information. Then we stumbled upon some of Alex Perezs YouTube videos and learned more about details that make a difference in the bids and the completed roofing job. Alex was well informed and knowledgeable about all the details we wanted in the finished project and had some great recommendations to solve other issues. His willingness to drop off replacement boards, ahead of the project start date, allowed us to paint the boards with several coats prior to installation. No other contractor was willing to do that and it saved us the hassle of getting up on a ladder and painting later. Alexs crew were on time, professional, and the clean up both days was impeccable. They finished ahead of schedule and the quality of work was top notch. Neighbors commented on how fast and efficient the crew worked together. I live in Folsom and have a cement tile roof with covered valleys. There was a leak in our guest room with the last rain. I called Alex, he arrived promptly the same day and was able to quickly troubleshoot the leak which was due to plugged up valleys. He gave me several options for repair. He is very knowledgeable and explained my options in detail. The valleys plug up with grit from the tile roof, leafs moss and debris create dams which divert the rain water outside of the valleys and into your home. Alex’s crew removed the tiles covering the valleys and inspected and cleaned them out and replaced any tar paper which was damaged. The crew did a great job cleaning the valleys and removing moss buildup. They were professional and left the work areas around the house cleaner than they were when they started. We have now had two very positive experiences with Perez Roofing, both relating to rental properties.In the first, Mr. Perez advised us on a rusted out and therefore leaky gutter. The advice meant no work for him (long story involving a membrane roof being installed over the gutter so it could not be removed without damaging the roof), but we very much appreciated his expertise and candid assessment.As a result, we did not hesitate to call him again when a tree badly damaged a roof and gutter section at our fourplex. Mr. Perez came out to inspect the situation, emailed a reasonable written repair estimate on the spot and we scheduled the work for the next opening (not too long offin his schedule.Even though we have had a dry winter thus far, as luck (notwould have it, rain was forecast the weekend before the repair. We texted Mr. Perez early on a Saturday morning in a bit of a panic. He was kind enough to come out within just a few hours to cover up the damaged area so water wouldnt get in and cause further damage. What wonderful customer service.The final thing I want to mention is the professionalism of his operation.
