Office work isnt too crash hot. But they got my husband home safe and sound when he needed it, so l guess thats the main thing

Volunteers giving their time to bring you home when you cant get home yourself.

We would be lost without them. Counter staff are friendly

Engine failure near Moon Point no nearby boats wind was picking up. Called and found all the staff from the member who answered the call to Ron in the radio room for I spoke to and who arranged a crew to assist me. The 3 members who gave up their time to come and tow me in every one of them was very friendly and professional. Cant thank them enough.

Fathers Day 2019 I was fishing the south gutter in wide bay 28 nm from Burrum Heads.Trigger fish set in eating the bait.When I went to start motor I was out of electricity.Not being a marine electrician I had power to a vhf radio and contacted marine rescue.This abt 2pm. I was expecting them abt dusk. They arrived abt an hour later.thats a great effort from Hervey bay.Abt 4.30pm we were at ramp Burrum Heads.What a great effortTrained volunteers so professional and had their fathers day disturbed.

Had serious motor problem while fishing with in my sons boat yesterday up the top end of Fraser. One call on the radio and they were on there way. The crew could not have been more helpful and got us back to the harbour safe. A great team effort. Well done.
