Wagon Wheel Country Cafe in Benton County

One of the last authentic mom n pop operations in the area, the wagon wheel is a family owned business that has been around for what seems like forever. Eating a meal here feels like a happy visit to grandmas house, and every person who walks through their door is treated like an old friend. The service staff is always quick to recognize and respond to their customers needs while wearing bright comforting smiles. My friends and I love this place because every item on their menu tastes just like a big bite of happier times, and every visit is certain to inspire nostalgia. Country cooking at its finest...i recommend the meatloaf!!!

Had the chocolate gravy which was great. Brought back memories of my Mom and grandmother.

A solid Country Cafe style restaurant. Good food and very friendly staff.

Good homestyle food and decent prices. I had chicken livers, and my husband had chicken fried steak. Both were hand breaded and well seasoned. Portions were generous. The interior was clean ɓut dated. Service needs some work. She forgot our bread and my salad and never came back to our table except to deliver the check. No drink refills.

The best part about this restaurant is the friendly people that work there.We had dinner there, and had a chicken fried steak and fried shrimp. It was all good, but pretty bland. I had a cup of chili that I really enjoyed. The sides were good, but again, bland.We had a pair of desserts to go and had them in our cabin later that evening; chocolate cake and pecan pie. Both were really good.If we were passing through the area again we would probably consider going back.

The Fried chicken sandwich was good but the extra charge for fries was a little high.

I cannot speak for the food, because my wife and I were never waited on. Apparently, you must need to be a local in order to receive service. Not only did no one wait on us, they never acknowledged our presence. I don’t think the servers even made eye contact with us. Sadly, I really wanted to eat breakfast, but they didnt seem to value us as potential customers. Very disappointed! This wasbon September 17, around 11:30 a.m.

This is a very good down home restaurant. Staff are the best and the owner is a wonderful lady.

First time stopping here, drive by all the time, they are always busy! We loved it all. Delicious and great service. You shouldnt go there because I dont want it busy next time I go!

The food was good..however the place needs a good cleaning..picked up salt shaker and it was greasy and gross..a table across from us either had the auction sticker in blue painters tape or the price from a garage sale..the whole place needs a really deep cleaning before I would ever return..but as I said the food was good..which is why I gave it a 3 stars. Dont know if I would want to see how clean the kitchen is if the dining room is gross..would I go again..no!!

I had been driving past this place with the intentions to stop and today I finally did. Wagon wheel is a comfortable cozy eating spot that has all the right things in place to make you feel like you right inside the kitchen of a farmers home. I just wish I would have stopped sooner. Thanks for the amazing fish dinner I was not dissatisfied nor was I disappointed. I recommend the wagon wheel cafe to anyone who may miss the cooking of a southern home

1st time here. We are stopping in with our RV earlier today traveling from California. Great circular driveway great parking lot for RVs and trailers. That said we sat down and I got regular tea my girlfriend got SWEET tea. Our server Kimberly was probably the best server on the planet, in addition to being a nurse and heard local beekeeper too. What a great lady! Thank you for taking care of me when I had a diabetic episode of my blood dropping very low. Your immediate attention with (2glasses of orange juice back to back saved me immediately.Now onto the food.I ordered pork chops. Battered and pan fried huge thick boneless pork chops. Yummoliciousness. Homemade mashed potatoes and asked for sausage gravy. They make white and brown gravy. It was thick, cooked perfectly and quality pork. Mashed were excellent thick pieces of sausage in the white gravy. Green beans (canned but flavorful with bacona little salty but good. And a homemade roll.My girlfriend got the chicken fried steak. Excellent battered fresh and crispy. Mashed potatoes white gravy no pork. Green beans and roll.HUGE portions.Saw a few breakfast plates being eaten at 1pm. HUGE portions of eggs, pancakes 🥞 and hash browns and thick slices of bacon 🥓. Saw homemade burgers being served. Speghetti also looked great.Prices reasonable, HUGE portions and GREAT Service. Apparently Saturday night they are carving up some prime rib with "homemade horseradish sauce" @ 4! Dont miss out. I heard they have open mic night and kareokee during the week.

Meatloaf was only warm on the edgesGravy was congealed on top of the cold mashed potatoes.The corn was hardly warmThere was 1 other person in the place.Just dont waste your time!

My father in law and I had the sampler platter, it was great. The sides were delicious and all the food was hot. The staff was friendly and came by to check on us without looming or ignoring. I will be back for sure

I had Hash-browns and slice of ham. I order unsweetened tea and got sweet tea. Hash browns were terrible not cooked well at all. My partner had Linda Special that was not special. Bread over took all the other items on the sandwich. Service was friendly but slow.

Wagon wheel country café was absolutely delicious with amazing service and very kind people. You have to get the fried green tomatoes! Very fast service and serves breakfast all day. Everything is very delicious and filling. I want to make a very big deal about how good the coffee was. If you’re looking for a good cup of Joe this is the place! The only improvement I would say it needs is a little bit of country music on in the background to match the atmosphere!

I see why Arkansans are so big now! Food was absolutely amazing, not really good if youre on a budget. If youre in the area you might as well do your pallette a favor and order a meal!!! I just wish the desserts were as good as the food.

If I could rate this place at 10 I would I love their burgers and fries, fries always crispy Burger well-done cheese melted perfect and youre not expensive handmade burgers and french fries just for $11 and the staff members so nice

First time trying this little cafe. Homey atmosphere with friendly service. I ordered the special of the day, spaghetti with garlic bread. It was ok. Did not taste like homemade bolognese but the noods were al denté so thats a plus. The garlic toast was buttery and delicious tho!
