Wagon Wheel Motel in Cloncurry

Rooms are clean and good air-conditioning good food but the best is its right next door to the BOWLO what a gem of a spot for a drink before you get a feed next door we will be back

Owners were great. Very accommodating. Room was simple but spotless and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Would recommend.

Some of the best steak Ive had in the country. Chefs can cook and management is absolutely fantastic 👏Lovely historic story to the place also.We prefer to stay and eat here whilst working in the curry.Wayne and Andrea are lovely folk to deal with.Havent had a bad meal there yet. Good size value for money 💰

Loved our stay here. Excellent service. Food was very good. Typical country Motel. Cold beer too. Worth a thought instead of Mt Isa. Brekkies were especially good.

Best takeway pizza in town

We loved the Cajun mackerel and my 6 year old loved the Aussie 🍕. Amazing friendly and hard working staff!! We suggest to book ahead because this is where miners eat and sleep. We enjoyed sitting at the bar while we waited, with a couple of drinks. Its no more expensive than excellent city meals so live it up and treat yourself. Life is beautiful 🌹

We ate dinner here and the staff was very friendly. The meals were delicious and we would highly recommend eating here. I would advise to book though as it was booked out and we had to sit outside on the veranda. 4 different meals selected and all were enjoyed.

In the middle of the outback, at the end of a nearly desert town (8pmwe found this restaurant.Price bit high but I guess to be in the middle of nowhere those price are quite normal.Food is ok, good stakes and salad

All I can say is we got our money back and went to better accommodation. I dont know how they have such great reviews on Google. Be cautious.

Stayed here a few times bow passing in and out of cloncurry. Still the best place to stay in town. Not to mention there meals are just as good!

The wagon wheel is good, homely place, good little restaurants, love the bar.prices are reasonable for the quality.

Gave it a 1 because i couldnt give it a zero! Room was full of bugs. After an hour of clearing the room we put our baby into bed. As soon as we pulled up the covers he screamed. BUGS in the bed!!! Massive stings on his legs. Had to take him to hospital! No after hours contact number for the motel at all. We had to leave at 5am so we couldnt talk to staff at all because no one starts until 9am. DONT STAY HERE!!!

Perfect room - twin room that could also go for a couple and two kids. Decent food and good prices
