Will be waiting forever! Very slow!
Always closed when i need to pick up a prescription
Unless you have unlimited free time, please dont bother trying to get a vaccine here. Despite having an appointment (and having already completed the necessary questionnaire/release paperwork online), I spent over an hour here waiting in a crowded pharmacy area along with many other individuals. Im not sure if vaccines appointments are the bottom of the priority list, but this pharmacy was one of the biggest messes Ive honestly ever seen. Id rather drive to Tucson than deal with this again.
Do not schedule any vaccines here. I went online and made an appointment. Then after arriving I had to wait in a 15 minute line just to check in. Checking in consisted 10 more minutes of answering the same questions I had already answered on the online thing. Then another line and another wait. Seriously, just do it at Frys or somewhere else. This is the most ridiculous fiasco Ive ever seen, to just get vaccinated. The picture Ive included doesnt even come close to showing the amount of people waiting.
Only reason I deal with this horrible store is due to insurance. The absolute worst, never had a service organization do their best to not provide it.
Ive always used Walgreens for my flu and covid shots and its always a cluster ____. Today Im getting it all done at CVS, I was scheduled for Walgreens earlier then the day came and I get a call the State board of some kind had closed the store so it appears I wont use Walgreens in Sierra Vista anytime soon.
Walgreens pharmacy in Sierra Vista is slower than molasses in January. It takes 2 to 4 days to get a refill due to the central refill center. Sometimes longer. Who ever came up with that idea should apply for an ID10T certification. I currently have a new prescription that has been in the process of being filled for the last 32 hours. No excuse for being that slow.
I have been a long time customer with Walgreens in multiple states. The employees are fantastic! The problem is the Corporation themselves. I have experienced long lines waiting for prescriptions. I believe that the Corporation does not pay their Pharmacy Staff accordingly and perhaps their computers need to be updated?Because of long wait times and other internal issues! I will be removing my Pharmacy Account.I believe the only way for Walgreens to learn how to treat their employees is if us as customers no longer shop there!
The service at the Sierra Vista Walgreens has gone down dramatically and their staff.are pathetic. Waiting two to three days for medications is not acceptable.
Kudos to the pharmacy peeps for staying sane with how crazy it’s been. Long wait times but what do you expect with everything going on
Do NOT use this Pharmacy. The Techs are outrageous, yells on phone, refuses to fill meds ordered by MD. San Antonio locations 100% better. Since when is a Tech a licensed MD and decides what meds to fill.
Absolutely THE worst service possible for a pharmacy. Two drive through lines but only one usable. Always long, always atleast 30min to hour wait. Dont bother going in because the line is just ad long. Dont bother calling the pharmacy either. They dont answer. Side note the app is garbage as well, if there is an issue it just says call the pharmacy. Again, they dont answer the phone. Waist of time. Dont waist yours.
Just spent almost 2 hours in the drive thru lane. Not sure exactly what is going on, but THAT is unacceptable. The staff is amazing once u get waited on, but they seriously need to fix this process. I understand there was some electronic glitches recently, but I think this is the new norm, which it shouldnt be.
Two prescriptions Ive attempted to fill, have been out of stock last minute. Pretty awesome when you need antibiotics, for a childs ear infection. Been getting the prescriptions switched to CVS and having them filled the same day.
Very very poor service and ignorance of customer needs! Stopped billing my Champ VA and wouldn’t mail my prescriptions even knowing my husband had just died and I am epileptic and not supposed to drive. Changed to CVS which will bill Champ and mail my prescriptions. Bad bad bad!
The Walgreens Staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked. There is a variety of items available for most health and beauty needs as well as an expansive candy isle. We go here for all of our prescription needs and are grateful for the drive thru pharmacy pick up option.
Called to refill a prescription and was told to pickup any time after 3:30 PM. I showed up to the drive through at 4:00 PM with 4 cars already in line. @4:45 PM I finally reached the window. Was told by the staff that my order wasnt ready and to come back in 30 minutes. I will wait and pick it back up in 2 days. I dread the need to refill my meds. This has to be a carefully planned out part of the day. Terrible.
They do not take Access insurance for prescriptions. Im telling you this because after not being notified when I spoke on the phone, drove there, waited in line, gave the person my info, transfered my prescriptions; then was told they did not take my insurance. Thanks but no thanks.
Getting worse by the day. Why does this place even make appointments? Or have a phone? They dont answer it EVER... then they hang up on you when you finally get through. This place is a joke. Get some people who actually care... not complain about their customers in front of other customers.****update IF YOU GET TESTED FOR COVID HERE AND YOU COME BACK POSITIVE, THEY THEN SEND YOUR PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO THE AZ DEPT OF HEALTH and they call asking all kinds of questions etc etc..
Been calling for 2 weeks for a covid booster. They will not answer the phone I keep getting transferred to some operator in Asia. Finally got transferred to an operator in Phoenix who told me to go online to make the appointment I have tried to do that now for 2 weeks with no success. Walgreens where the customer is always last in the automated phone answering system is more important then the customer. I hear you guys are going out of business soon.
Rude service from Drue, actually lied to me kept me waiting for script after waiting in line for 20 minutes, told me the safe could not be opened up for up to 30 mins. And to have a seat ( again). When I insisted she check, it was being worked, when I expressed my mispleasure, she told me there are other pharmacies. I have been coming here for years, nice customers service. Rude and inconsiderate. Other people here have always been nice and professional.
The 1 star reviews say it all. While most of the workers are nice, because I had an issue with one of them, the operation of the pharmacy is very terrible. Granted, I’m not a pharmacist in anyway, but the wait times are atrocious. All of the elderly that wait in the long lines, I applaud. Just the other day I was at the pharmacy to pick up a prescription, there were 22 people in line and only one person working the counter. The drive through is no different.
Great people at pharmacy but poorly operated. Forget about them honoring online appointments for flu or COVID vaccines. Waiting area is tiny and hardly in keeping with CDC guidelines. While waiting you get to hear employees screaming COVID test procedures at people in drive thru. Getting an appointment for a vaccine has NO impact on when you get yours. Employees dont even bother to look it up.
I used their product and it bleed all over my pillow. When the three days were up and I washed my hair a lot of the color washed out. I I’ll never use it again
Miss Dolly. What a gem. Deserves a raise. The pharmacy on the other hand. Idiots or liars, I’ll let you decide. Back handedly went against a doctors prescription but didn’t have the changed dosage on hand. Thankfully they didn’t because they next pharmacy we went to showed the math that was used and it was in agreement with what the doctor prescribed. Putting someone’s health at risk should be punished.
I went through the drive-thru for a COVID test today. The email stated I should be there 5 minutes early so I was there 10 just to be safe. I waited 40 minutes to get my drive-thru test while people in front of me clearly didn’t have their prescriptions filled ahead of time. What’s the point of a drive-thru if they don’t turn those people away? To their credit, my results were ready a little more than an hour after I was there. BUT their website has been down for maintenance for almost 4 hours at the time of this review. What kind of mainstream company these days doesn’t have the servers to conduct maintenance without downtime? Answer: a bad one. Honestly, I’ve never cared for much for Walgreens but was more or less neutral. This experience has proven to me they don’t deserve my business or yours.
Worst place to get prescriptions. They are always running out of meds, the line in the drive thru is always out to the in street, they are in slow in as molasses. I hate in WalgreensHorrible
Walgreens service and products were good, as usual. The drive through pharmacy line was very long, just to drop off. We went inside to drop off our prescription.
Miss Dolly is the best lady to serve the public she is a remarkable person.. She really needs people like us to promote great people like her... Right in Walgreens.. Im outta town loving every minute..
I picked up an eyedrop for dry eyes here last month. I was stunned at the casher who rang it and said $20.20. Can you believe it? Believe me. I asked him again only to get "Yes". More than 20 dollars for just an eye drop? I droved to Walmart immediately and bought an eyedrop for dry eyes for 2 dollars and some cents. Never buy OTC(over the countermedicine here at Walgreen. Other Vitamins are also expensive at Walgreen.
Pleasant and helpful employees. Rarely crowded. A little slow on the checkout sometimes. My goto for prescriptions, drive thru pickup is a bonus.
First time Shopping at this location as we just moved to the area and I have to say the Customer Service was Outstanding, better than any other Walgreens Ive ever been to anywhere, Virginia was absolutely the Best Help for finding what we were looking for and even offered to order in what they didnt carry, as well as told us of Different places in town to find other things they did not carry. Virginia was Awesome, give that Woman a High 5 and a Raise!! We will Definitely Make This Walgreens OUR Walgreens from now on. 🤘😃🤘
Do NOT get a passport photo here. They use a very cheap point and shoot camera with a broken flash and then try to correct it by blowing out the brightness digitally. $15 would be expensive with a proper camera but I feel robbed and have an unusable picture. Don’t waste your time.
Pharmacy gals went above and beyond helping me get my scrip card info from my provider. Super personable and very good at what they do. You cant go wrong with the pharmacy techs here at Walgreens. Not sure about the rest of the store...but hey its a Walgreens...the rest of the store was clean and stocked...But I was only there for the pharmacy. 😉
I have been sitting here since 3:45 pm. Every time I come here it is one thing or another and I am kept waiting. The one person that does this who came to the door and called other customers but refused to provide me the same service, but instead left a voice message on my phone, and I was in the damn store??? If they cannot do the job, or they cannot provide the same level of service to all customers they should not work with the public. Happens all the time!! Changing my pharmacy. They needed an override from my pharmacy, how hard is that? Shame on you! Especially when my situation was explained!
Always late.Online: "Your order will be ready at 11am"At the pharmacy at 1130: "Its not ready yet, come back at 1pm"At the pharmacy AGAIN at 2:45pm: "one is ready, the other we need 30 more min."A month ago it was the photo center. "Itll be ready at noon." I show up at 3pm... "Its not ready, come back after 430".Absolutely no respect for customers time. Only come here if you have all day to deal with nonsense and nothing better to do with your time.
Scheduled flu shots here, because their website said they take our insurance. When we arrived they didnt know how to run the insurance card. Im floored that a pharmacy cant do something so basic as run a major insurance companies card. Ive never had any issues like this before. After calling around to find a better place, i found out that the health department does them for half the price of walgreens if youre paying cash (free for kids), and they accept insurance without any issues also.
This is a Walgreens. There are thousands just like it … or maybe not. This one has a pharmacy that keeps slightly better than bankers hours. They CLOSE at 9pm. In fact, after around 10pm in Sierra Vista you are SOL if you need a prescription.Anyway, the regular staff here is fine - pleasant and efficient. The store is clean and always well-stocked. I get FEDEX packages delivered here, too. But its TWO STARS for a pharmacy that is not serving its community.Could they? Maybe but the medical care in this town is a real problem that EVERYONE talks about. You literally are at greater health risk living here, its so poor. I was recently injured, went to the ER and later self referred to a surgeon in Tucson. He was appalled - that was the word he used - appalled at the treatment of my wound. The pharmacies do not appear to be much better. So, like the hospital that relies on contract, part time doctors to staff the ER, there are probably not enough pharmacists to go around.
Jamie (the pharmacistis great! I had to see a new Practitioner and get a prescription for my medication. Jamie noticed the drug amounts were not the same and messaged my provider to keep it consistent and took the time to look up what variations of my specific medication brand that Walgreens carries so I wouldnt have to change brands. Very appreciative of her help!
Walgreens, is fast and efficient when it comes to needing to get in and out. I also get my medications filled here, and I love not having to call my prescriptions in when I am almost out. The Walgreens app that I have on my phone helps out a lot as well. I have everything set up through there so all I have to do is long in on my phone and take care of what I need from home.I don’t know if they offer mailing medications yet, but if they do then that is even better for people that have a hard time getting out and about.
Horrible service at the pharmacy pharmacist is rude and interrupts you while talking. They are by far the worst pharmacy in southern Arizona. Wait times are in accurate and sometimes takes days to get your perscription.
The pharmacy is very efficient, prompt, organized, helpful and just willing to go that extra mile for you to make sure you get what you need ! Specially the tech Mary Banister! She always has a smile, in a great mood and is ready and willing to help! Thank You Walgreens.
I was looking for an over-the-counter med to help me sleep and relieve some allergic issues. A very helpful and polite young lady named DOLLY quickly helped me find exactly what I needed and advised me to use my Walgreens card along with a coupon from the stores coupon book. She saved me time and money. Couldnt ask for more! Great service. Great girl!
When the pharmacy I used for 10 years closed, I switched to another in town. After experiencing rude customer service, I tried Walgreens and have remained with their pharmacy due to the excellent customer service and good turn around times. My only complaint is the pharmacys text system. It is supposed to make refilling prescriptions more convenient, but it doesnt work correctly.
The PHARMACY deserves an all around F-!!!! (No offense to Jaime the Pharmacist- every time she is there things get handled efficiently, thoroughly, and quicklyI actually started off liking this pharmacy even with the long waits when no one was in line but myself to pick up a Rx. However, I have reached my limit. My standard Rx order is only available for pick up in a certain time frame. Last month I was called not only once but 3 TIMES to say come and pick up your Rx because it is ready. So like any normal person would do is go and pick up your Rx... right???.... WRONG! They turned me away each time saying "Sorry we can not release your Rx because of your insurance or oh sorry we got the wrong Rx so we had to send that back and now that will delay your time to get your Rx." Such BOGUS BS!!!!!!!! But I am not going to lie the last month was partially my fault because I did not know that the Pharmacy was open on the weekends. Anyways... This month really made me mad to set aside my valuable time to write this "wonderful" review on the staff. Im not a person that enjoys or writes negative reviews for the hell of it. I normally like to write positive reviews at most!!! In continuum to this "Pharmacy" review... I am not trying to put people down because I actually liked this girl prior to our conversation ( I still do like her just this is not something Medical professionals would say to a patients over the phone).
Zero stars if I could. The pharmacy is a nightmare to say the least. Wait times are ridiculous. Every single time my doctor electronically sends a prescription it takes them an entire day or more to fill. If I physically drop it off and tell them I will wait, they immediately discourage you by telling you its gonna be at least 4 hours. I cannot believe this place is in business. The one and only customers. It is a zoo every single month I am there. I am seriously taking my business all the way to Tucson if I have to and make it a shopping trip once a month. The frustration is unreal and no one cares. Look at the age of the bad reviews and nothing has changed!
I write this review as I sit and wait in line at the drive thru pharmacy. The wait times here are sad and if a company promises such service a drive thru option, they should have enough staff to provide the service they offer. This place either needs additional staffing, or additional training on Customer Service.
I had planned to write a detailed review of this stores ridiculously slow drive thru in hopes that it may be seen by someone who cares. Seeing that a customer had a similar experience FOUR YEARS AGO, i doubt it will ever change anything. I too have had great experiences with Walgreens elsewhere so I guess I should start looking at getting my scripts thru the mail.
This Walgreens has got to be the most ignorant store ever. Went into the store with a buddy as an employee was entering the store. Asked her (the employeewhere we could find some hand crème type medication and she guided us within the store and had a stocker assist us.We proceeded to the cash register with the crème and paid. We left the store and as my buddy was placing his purchase in one of his motorcycle bags, an employee came outside and informed us that he had received a complaint from someone in the store that they had witnessed us stuffing things in our pockets. At this point the cashier who rang up our purchase frisked us!Really! We were just so shocked.. that we smiled and allowed them to search us.NEVER AGAIN will I ever step foot inside this store and believe you me, no-one I know, even if they are on their death bed, will shop at this location either.
I recently had to re-start my cat on a medication for his chronic eye condition, and the pharmacy staff at the store were beyond helpful in getting his prescription transferred from Walmart (who didnt have it in stock and didnt tell me until I called to see if it was readyand getting it filled in 2 hours, as opposed to Target who estimated 24-48 hours to transfer and fill it. My only complaint was the call center, who assured me my prescription would be ready this morning and then never sent the request to the store. If I can have an option to speak to the store directly instead of going to the anonymous call center, Ill be totally happy!
