Walgreens Pharmacy in Sussex County

Service levels continue to drop. They are open 9-6 Monday through Friday so leave work in a hurry to get there before closing. Pharmacy is always understaffed. They are challenged with the basics of how a line works as well.

Empty shelves, no personality. Looked like they were going out of business.

Not crowded and well stocked and clean

I was out of town on vacation and developed COVID symptoms despite being fully vaccinated. I scheduled my appointment online at this Walgreens for my COVID test. I showed up at the appointed time and they said the computers were down and I should try back later. 3 hours later I called and they said the computers were working and I could come now. I battled the 40 minutes of traffic (againand when I pulled up to the drive thru I was told that they are not scheduling COVID tests today. I explained to the assistant that I was there this morning and that I just called within the hour and was told to come over for a test. She said that is not true and not possible. Obviously I feel sick as heck and was put through 3 hours of travel time, for nothing. I will never shop at a Walgreens again. I hope none of you experience what I have today. It was devastating.

Great in general for getting alot of your day to day needs

My prescriptions were ready very quickly, and I found everything I was looking for.

I came to pick up a prescription and was told it would be 5-10 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes, I was told it would be another 15-20 minutes until my prescription was ready without any reason given. The pharmacist on duty, Tom Bonk, was very unprofessional and was not wearing a mask despite all customers and every other staff member wearing one due to Covid. Also the public restroom was located inside a supply closet at the back of the store which was really weird. Avoid this Walgreens if you can.

I go to Walgreens for all of my husbands and my prescriptions. Weve been using them for 8 years now and have never had any problems. Pretty much everyone who works there is nice and helpful, especially the people who work in the pharmacy. The store is clean and well stocked (there have been some problems getting toilet paper and bleach since Coronabut I usually come away with everything I went there for (and a lot more most times)! Their prices are a little higher than Walmart but I hate going to Walmart so I grin and bear it! They have a new coupon book every month that you can find in the front of the store. I highly recommend checking it out before making a purchase as there is usually a coupon for whatever youre looking for. Quite often they have good sales on Coca-Cola products so I always check their price before I buy. They have a refrigerator/freezer section where you can get a few necessities while youre out and they also have a photo counter where you can get your film developed and computers where you can customize and order prints. There is handicap parking at the front entrance and automatic doors and they also have a drive-thru. If you call in advance you can get whatever you want at the drive-thru, as long as it fits through the drawer.

Why does it take 6 days to get a prescription filled?

Wonderful lady at register Clem. Very helpful and nice. Stupid she has to call for management several times and they standing around talking. Will go to Lewes store.

Outstanding caring and customer service! Both pharmacists and techs are super polite and helpful! Love this pharmacy! Only place in town I will go to! Congratulations on being leagues above your competition !

Would not scan a store card for us.

They are very helpful .its the reallyyyyyy reallyyyy bad RX refill she does not undertand or know WHAT RX # i put its never known. They need to get a better system going .
