Its a walgreens. The employees are pleasant for the most part, and only a few hide when you attempt to ask for assistance. The goods are what youd expect, and the pharmacy is always rather slow.Overall a "meh" experience.
The same issues that anyone else has posted rude uninformed And dont like to answer the phone. Get tired of someone being rude every single time I go there. If your not happy leave! My prescriptions are very expensive and I just might take my business elsewhere .. dont know about these people because they are disrespectful at times and rude.. people go to a pharmacy because they are in need and maybe hurting in some fashion. Etiquette matters and it people dont go to your Pharmacy anymore then youll be looking for a job elsewhere
Pharmacy hangs up on you
Terrible experience. The lead pharmacist “Sid” is contradictory in most of what he states as “fact”. They are by far the slowest pharmacy in Waterville particularly given the amount of staff on hand. By comparison, Hannaford at 140 Elm Street will fill anytime inside sometimes 10 minutes if they know you have somewhere more important to be than sitting at the pharmacy. (Like work). The attached photo is how “busy” they were for 2 hours straight but there I sat…Most recent example, I was told this morning that he couldn’t bump my refill so I could make it to work because everyone says the same and when I asked him if the 35 people I had ahead of me had to be to work he said he had no way of knowing that…isn’t that why you just said you couldn’t put me up, because everybody says the same? That they have to be to work. This is every week. If you want to wait a minimum of 3 hours to get a prescription filled with attitude and lies, by all means make your pharmacy Walgreens at 210 Main Street. In short, this is the type of location where they get by being condescending and borderline rude as a clear result of hating dealing with the public. They lie. Most have an awful attitude and it’s just generally a very unpleasant experience. Try them out and see if I’m lying. This will be the last time I fill a prescription with this pharmacy. The store reps are very friendly and helpful by contrast, just an FYI. Take care all.
Lost my prescription. Ive called 5 times and cannot get anyone to respond. They put you on hold for 30 minutes sometimes and then the phone finally rings and someone picks it up and just hangs up. Or they put you back on hold over and over without saying anything. I also got a text saying there was an issue with my prescription but there was no other information.. So thats why I called. Now it apparently looks like my prescription was lost and thats the end of it. Im sorry if they cant get workers to stay there but the system doesnt work as it is.
Local pharmacy with weekend pickup available. The store has a good supply of almost everything you would need in a pinch.
I have been trying to get my prescriptions here ever since I moved back in March. They almost always make a mistake. One time they couldnt find me in their system at all but then I came back the next day and they could find me. Another time they gave me the wrong medication. Yesterday, I came in to pick up my Rx which was supposedly ready and it was ready just in the wrong store (for some reason, my Rx was filled at a store in Pennsylvania). The pharmacist Sid was incredibly rude his behavior was very concerning. It was 9 am on a Sunday but Im pretty sure he was intoxicated. Sweating profusely and shouting nonsense at me. Calling corporate was absolutely no help, they just transferred me around. This is an unacceptable situation. Walgreens deliberately expanded throughout the country shutting down local pharmacies left and right and now they have a near monopoly on drug distribution but they cant get their act together. This goes well beyond a simple complaint about a store. This industry needs regulation and this company needs to be broken up.
Just popped in from a fast cookie snack . The employees are super friendly .the store is super clean and organized. Fast in and out .
Always clean and stocked well. Employees were friendly and fast.
Have used this pharmacy since it opened as Rite Aid. They have always done a great job and the staff is so helpful. I would recommend this store anytime.
Called Walgreen to see if my wife prescription was ready they said they was work on it..I live about a half hour away so we get there an they said its not ready yet can we come back in 45 minutes so we go back in 45 minutes an they said its still not ready so we are thinking of changing pharmacy...
This Walgreens ever since it took Rite Aid over has been a nightmare you cant go in and get your medication without standing in a very long line. Weather people are in there to get a shot or not they dont have enough staff to work. Theyre Rude the pharmacist is extremely rude not to mention that I cant understand him so therefore he cant explain any of my medications to me. Before I get to the store my phone is already blowing up with messages in texting and phone calls saying that my order is either ready to be filled or is ready to be picked up. I get to the store to pick these up and their not even ready. The pharmacist and I have had it out a few times. No help from the store manager, they seem to be buddies. hes rude and inconsiderate not sure why they keep him there. Hes turned around and given the wrong medications to other people as well that Ive witnessed a few times.. They. Cant seem to keep up. And get them selves together. The store manager allows this does nothing about it just stands there and smiles at you.. this whole place is a joke!!Also the pharmacist refused me my first pfizer shot. Not cool 😑My doctors office has nothing but issues with Walgreens as well !! I have called the corporate. I dont recommend this store to anyone 😕
This review is also for the pharmacy section. I made an appointment to get a covid test, and they said they wouldn’t take me because I didn’t have a car. I walked an hour in the freezing rain, because it’s the closest Walgreens and I’m a broke college kid with my car in the shop in need of a covid test to continue working. The manager sat in the background listening to his worker deny me while standing in the drive thru in the pouring rain. It was nearly impossible to get an absolute stranger to drive me thru…. To get COVID tested in a pandemic mind you…
expensive even with the sales rude staff not a coupon friendly store
Terrible customer service, don’t get your vaccines here. Online system is wrong and they will turn you away regardless of making appointment online. Staff are unorganized and don’t seem to know what’s going on. Waste of time to go here.
The Walgreens in downtown Waterville, Maine, is severely understaffed. Its not unusual to see only one cashier open, with a line 12-15 people deep. Waiting for a prescription is a nightmare. I went there today to pick up an order, and there were three people ahead of me. Only one cashier, again. The first person had trouble with his card. So 10 minutes was wasted while he finally figured out how to work it. Then the second customer went rather quickly. But the third was a middle-aged son and his mother with appointments to get the Covid booster shot. The pharmacist had to see the Medicare card for the old lady, and his insurance card...though the shot is supposedly free of charge. She couldnt process the Medicare card and kept calling over someone else to help her. After another 10 minutes of watching them key in information, stand there, then call someone to help, I left. Very poor customer service.
This review is strictly associated with the pharmacy section.I went to get my meds and when I arrived at the store I was given my medications but it was the wrong medication. I noticed only when I arrived back home. Upon making my way back to the store I spoke to the pharmacist who denied that he gave me the wrong medication and while we were in the drive through I proved to him the medication was wrong, but he insisted it was right. He tried to get me to go into the store to show him and for him to show me how to use the meds even though they were the wrong ones. I had to leave for a time limit for a trip I was going on. I couldn’t miss my dose but because of this stubborn pharmacist I missed my dose because I couldn’t inject myself with the meds because the needles were wrong. I had to wait two weeks to get the right needles for my meds in order to properly give myself the right dose. It is his stubbornness and thick headedness that I couldn’t get my medications on time. I honestly hope he gets fired.
Very poor customer service by 6 year pharmacy tech. I will stick with the wonderful folks at the Oakland Walgreens!
It is actually walgreens on main st hasnt been rite aid in ten years but thats beside the point. Got there two people in front of me one at the window. 4 techs behind the glass sitting down one "helping" people as it took an average of 15 minutes per person. I ended up waiting there to pick up one simple script when they werent busy and amply staffed for 45 minutes. I will be changing pharmacies as deplorable doesnt even scratch the surface of their customer service. Managers take notice you are losing a lot of customers as a feiend of mine had a similer experience.
Usual bad customer service at these places. Pharmacy is understaff and don’t care.
Horrible, I went to Walmart for 2 years and never had any issues and the VERY first script they filled for me they undercounted and shorted me, so now I have to go a week without my meds. I highly recommend NOT using this pharmacy
If I could give this place 0 I would the pharmacist is rude they cant get their paperwork right going for a covid test and they lose the appointment that was made cant find it instead of working with someone they just given attitude and tell you your out of luck
The pharmacy has been superb. Filling my medications on time, always friendly and helpful.
Over priced on everything. I was going to pick up some antibiotics and they wanted 70 bucks for 5 days worth. I went to Oakland pharmacy 8 dollars and change for the same antibiotics. Shop local keep local businesses open.
Great people awesome pharmacist both of them great people all round :)
I love Rite Aid (Walgreens, Winslow )..Shiela is just amazing and so helpful and kind and funny, its nice to be close to the people at my pharmacy. Im so bad with names, but the gentleman that works there as well, hes actually the pharmacist, lol, anyways, hes very nice and will answer my questions with kindness and a beautiful smile and hes fun to make laugh or chuckle..lol And if they see this they will know me by, lol "ITS ALL ABOUT ME"..we have a little running joke between us three..short story, I went in one day and said its all about me is here and it just went from there (had to be therelol I hope they never leave, I will miss them..awesome people and very professional but also can laugh with me at my sillines..love it..5 star for sure
Extremely aweful service, very rude and had us going back and forth between them and the doctors office 3 times in one day for a perscription for a ashma. Rite aid said they didnt get it the doctors called twice and sent it three times. Very rude staff in the pharmacy almost like we bothered them by showing up wanting service. Better off getting stuff filled at Walmart or CVS.
Its a very nice clean store but the prices are ridiculous like, even worse than 7-Eleven for food and snack items. but yeah I guess you pay for the convenience, but I walked out feeling ripped off.
Fast and friendly folks.Hope the boss pays them a living wage.Thank you
Rating rx as very professional and always helpful with any concerns that I may have.Highly recommend
They are helpful, though seem worn out, a bit frazzled and in need of rest off their feet. It isnt a busy store when Ive been there, so it might be too much time spent trying to find things to tidy up. (That is what they are usually doing when we go into the store.)
Clean friendly service and great location.
Extremely rude in the pharmacy, they act like they are Gods . Fairfield is,way better much nicer . They need to clean that pharmacy out and start over
There sometimes nice they need to take a little bit more consideration on people who are trying to get clean off drugs.
Some of the pharmacist are a little rude to customers should Workk on customer service
Some of the women working in the pharmacy could be a little more polite and not treat their customers like they are an inconvenience.
Its a little dirty and not always well stocked.
