They need 2 open back up 24hrs!! The lines in this place is ridiculous!! I will be switching to Walmart!! Called on 11/04/2022 and sat on hold for 59 mins. The phone was picked up and placed back on hold at least 5 times without a word!!! This place is a sorry excuse for a pharmacy! Thats the PROBLEM TODAY HUGE COMPANIES AND MAJOR CORPORATIONS
Inside store now writing this review.words can not describe how sad and pathetically the service is. How long will this unacceptable service will continue?
Every time Ive been to the pharmacy Im in line for a minimum of an hour and a half. Even understaffed there is no excuse to take 20 minutes for each person to pick up a prescription. Worst service anywhere.
If I didnt have to give a star I wouldnt. I was in the drive thru last night from 8:30pm needless to say the line was around the building the inside wasnt open. I waited and hour and half was one car from the window and it was 10pm and they closed the window I knocked I rang the bell the ignorant woman just looked at me an smiled. Poor customer service period Im changing pharmacies
I used to love Walgreens in Seaford. I didnt mind the higher prices because to the convenience and the service. I got all my prescriptions and shots there for years. They used to be open 24 hours. The signs are still up, but that hasnt been the case for a long time. Store and pharmacy hours keep changing. The lines inside and outside (on the times the drive through is actually openare unbelievable.I manually put in for 3 prescription refills (each with 2 refills leftafter the automatic refill failed. Ten days later, I stood in line forever. I was told, "Theyre still in process. Ill mark it rush and it will be ready in 30 minutes. Well page you so that you dont have to stand in line again." No page. Over an hour later I got a text that my order was ready. So I stood in line again (see the photoonly to be told, "Were out of stock" on the one ld been nine weeks without. "We should have it next week." My cardiologist is unhappy but even he is aware of Walgreens current reputation. My labs are way off. Luckily, Im not in the hospital yet. Im moving everything I can to another pharmacy. This seems to be a company wide, corporate issue, spending money on everything except staff and customer service.
This Walgreens is horrible. Always slow. corp office needs to come here. My God hire more people....
This pharmacy might be the worst one in Delaware, the staff I interacted with were very rude and the service is incredibly slow, I had to take my girlfriend to the ER on Friday and the prescription wasn’t filled until Thursday after we went for the 3rd time to get them to fill it. Do not go here if you actually need meds
Really long lines and closes temporarily when they feel like it. 👎
Lazy customer service, hours change on a daily basis and they’re extremely slow. Word of advice, use a different pharmacy!
Pharmacy is slow. Not enough people working. Either the drive through is open and inside is not or vice versa. The drive through line is to the Lowes parking lot.Trash is all over the parking lot. Feels dirty like a big city.It never used to be like this. Don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else. I am.
Pharmacy closed inside at 6 p.m. was here at 5:30 but line was backed up inside and the line outside is wrapped around the building. Looks like at least an hour wait either way! Ugh.
Awful awful awful!! This place is so slow and when they are open you never know what time they close day to day??? 2p.m 5p.m. 6 p. M.? Never know.
Lines are absolutely ridiculous. Drive thru never open. And y close the whole pharmacy for a lunch break? Rotate staff for lunch to continue service customers
I know there is an employee shortage and I have been patient with that, but when you tell someone you will have their prescription ready when they get there and then you dont..Ive had enough. Went there 2 or 3 days in a row to get a script and the lines were too long for me wait. Have to call 1 script in a whole week before its due just to make sure they get it on time before i run out.And then you cant even have it ready after I call to make sure it will be? Im transferring all my prescriptions.
Some of the staff is nice, so for the two nice ones that Ive had interactions with, bless you for all that you do for the store. You make it worth coming back to.But... The primary purpose of a pharmacy is to be a pharmacy. While other products are there for our convenience, they can be easily obtained at other stores if needed. Prescriptions cannot. Many times the computer systems are down, which at the rate that the computers are down its amazing that the store can remain open. But for a pharmacy to shut down unexpectedly and then cancel a prescription for no reason is more than inconvenient to some people. Some people need this medication to live. The corporate part of Walgreens doesnt seem to understand that you have to pay your employees properly, recognize good employees, and not work everybody at a skeleton crew so that they are not overworked. Staffing has been an issue and from numerous people the pharmacist may have quit, which puts everybody in a bind. Do better buy your employees and your customers Walgreens.
The staff are very slow. The info given was wrong and the drive thru sign says they are closed however they are not. The hours are constantly changing and the website is not updated. However, i feel all walgreens are horrible lately.
What a horrible pharmacy. Went 3 times to pick up my mother in laws much needed prescriptions (blood pressure meds she’s out of is a kind of an important one at her ageonly to find a paper sign taped up saying pharmacy closed when everywhere else including the web and phone answering machine says open. Walgreens made a ton of taxpayer money on covid tests but won’t pay / raise employees any more with our money. Can’t transfer to another pharmacy without being on the phone for hours and then getting disconnected. Stay far away from Seaford Delaware Walgreens Pharmacy.Nightmare on Walgreen Street. Wish I could give it negative 5 Stars
Picking up prescriptions for my father here is one of the most painful parts of my life. I just cant wait in line for an hour to be told that "its not ready", hours after getting the call from them saying "its ready".Do they actually train the staff to serve the customers?Im sure the insurance and drug companies would like Walgreens to get people moving through the "pill mill" quicker than this.SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THESE SLOTHS GET IT TOGETHER !¡!!
I had the pleasure of having Kiera from the Seaford DE location assist with my prescription pick up. She helped a customer in the drive through and instantly walked over to the counter to assist me. She provided exceptional service with no second guessing her efficient and confidential service to me. It was a surprise for me to learn that she had only been working with Walgreens for 3 months or less. I’ve been a Customer with Walgreens for several years and her performance was above and beyond the best service I’ve ever received from Walgreens pharmacy staff. She deserves a raise and should absolutely be a keeper. 🤗😊
Photo center is extremely slow, very rude and they dont give accurate times on when your items will be done!
very rude pharmacy staff. did not have my prescription in stock couldnt even give me an eta of when they would have it also made no mention that I could get it moved to other Walgreen pharmacys. overall unhelpful and did not look happy to be working there. They also never told me my prescription wasnt in stock even though I have the text/call alerts....
Beyond horrible!!!! They will lie on you as well. Staff is just disgusting.
Honestly, many people can complain about the pharmacy and the service, I use to work at a Walgreens near by and Im hear to tell you .. there is more than what meets the eye. People dont give credit where credit is due.It isnt easy being a pharmacist or a pharmacy technician especially when you are short staffed due to hour cuts which IS WHAT BUSINESSES DO even though we all hate it... there is that time of the year it happens with every BUSINESS.Only thing I wish they could try to focus on and find a solution for is the drive through and sometimes whoever is managing it. Each car infront of me will stay at the window for like 5 or 10 minutes each and if my script isnt ready for my daughter (examplefor miralax (yall technicians know how simple it is to fill that btw, but why cant you provide good customer service for me and quickly get it ready and have pharmacist check it since each car in front of me lasted 5 to 10 minutes long? But no, I am told 45 minute wait?I use to do this for my patients all the time if I was at drive through, because I understand there point of view as well as a technicians point of view. 🤷♀️Still will always give 5 stars because they really do work hard.Heck the store manager at this location (if hes still thereworks his butt off helping in pharmacy DAILY. It is a very busy pharmacy. Customers need to understand this a bit more and have more patience with them. Ive seen horrible reactions from people that was just unnecessary..
This is the absolute worst Walgreens I have ever dealt with. The computer problems plagueing the pharmacy make it it a difficult and very time consuming ordeal. The drive-through is frequently closed due to on going computer problems. Their record keeping is abysmal. This has been going on for months. Even my Drs office said this Walgreens was a disaster and I should consider changing pharmacies. One star only because I dont have the option to leave negative stars. They should shut this mess down.
Nice, clean, friendly, had to wait in line for a bit only one worker, had lots of stock, I love that I have the comfort of a pharmacy open 24HR should I ever need a prescription or anything else really, also my cigs are 6$ cheaper there!!
The only place that has a drive-through line wrapped around the building, eight cars in deep. Im writing this review as Im sitting in the drive-thru line for the second time today. My time means nothing to them.
Great store 24 hours, worst stuff ever...letting people sit in the drive thru and wait for a prescription to get filled on demand. Just tell them to come back in thirty minutes.
I waited about 26 minutes on the phone to refill a prescription and I am a physician so I wonder how much more a regular person would wait to inquire about some thing in the pharmacy.I believe that the pharmacist is overworked and the load of work should be revised so that providers or patients will not have to wait that long for a simple task.
Seaford, Delaware location! Overall its a decent store.. But I went there yesterday to get my flu shot and I had to wait 40 minutes for a one minute shot.. And when I asked What took so long to get me in for my shot she said "nobody advised her that someone was waiting". Isnt that just ridiculous! I was so aggravated
Love the auto refills and doctor contacts for script count refill so patient doesnt have to. Ty Walgreens.
I am not sure if anything is going to be done to change this but there is only a few times that I have gone to the drive through when I did not have to wait 20minutes or more before getting to the window! Tonight I came up 4th in line and it took 25 minutes before I got to the window. I thought this was a drive through where you either drop off or pick up. There seems like long discussion and consultations are going on. I have been there where they have asked me to come back around when they could not answer right away because people were in line behind me.
I had to wait 2 hours to get my pain meds filled after knee surgery. Pharmacy kept giving me the run-around about my insurance. My insurance company said it was approved and the pharmacist kept saying it wasnt...
Love the store. Mr. Bob is so sweet and always in a great mood. Always find what I need
Pharmacy can be slow. Can get rude. They schedule 1 person in the whole pharmacy to run meds/window/reg pick up. Thats not good for business. Makes people...Short tempered. Im trying to state my information as I know the questions. Name DOB. If its my mom and I usually I can state the last name they pull both up. Its only us in seaford with that name for one. I got this one super ignorant African American woman cut me right of before I could even state our first names. Then proceeded to state like she is asserting her authority I need 1 name we can only do one transaction at a time....which I know for a fact is a lie. Considering everyone else literally rings us up together. Im her stated legal caregiver. No one ever questions it. She did and gave me her attitude. I didnt schedule you. Dont take it out on me.
For two years I’ve had issues with getting prescriptions filled for myself and my family. They don’t train the employees properly and someone else is always blamed other then the manager. I will not be taking any prescribed medication to be filled at any Walgreen’s pharmacy. I call and complain and complain and complain on how they do business with people who need medication. Nothing ever gets done about anything I complain about. It’s always I’m sorry we can try and fix the situation or I’m sorry your going through this we can try this or I put a note in your file for them to bill this one first and this one secondary. Common sense people. I will never get another prescription filled at any Walgreen’s pharmacy ever again.
Cashier short latin girl seemed little rude, maybe after long day she was not in a mood. Understandable, but customer wants your smile all the time.
I pulled up and asked for Magnesium and thermometer covers. I was (not so politelytold I would have to speak to a pharmacist and would need to pull around since there was a car behind me. So I pulled around came up to the window and by the time I had gotten up there another car had pulled behind me. She said I would have to keep pulling around until there were no cars behind me so she would have time to go get it. I told her that since it was 5pm on a Friday there will always be a car behind me. She explained that she was the only person there and that she could call another worker to help but I would still need to drive around. I explained that I wasn’t comfortable driving around again because that seemed like an endless cycle. She went and got the pharmacist for me. I politely told him I was just looking for Magnesium and what brand and he said, well the other lady could have gotten that. He also asked me to drive around while the other lady (who originally “helped” me could go get it). I denied it again because by this time two cars were behind me. The pharmacist went and got the magnesium and cashed me out in less than 2 minutes. All the time they were telling me why they couldn’t help me, they could have helped me!
Walgreens Takes It Customers As Fools!!! Walgreens advertises Qnol Q10, buy 1 get 1 free. The $57+ per 1 bottle exceeds the cost of 1 bottle for $28.00 at a very popular store across the road. $28 has been the normal price for years at the popular store. I have found Walgreens quilty of deceiving customers for a number of years with this same advertising message. Shame on you Walgreens! How can I trust such a company?
I was going to switch to this pharmacy but after being on hold for almost an hour waiting for someone to answer I will go elsewhere. It kept saying one caller ahead of me for almost an hour. Not mention I tried a second time later and same thing waiting for someone to answer for almost an hour. I just hung up.
Waived fee for a desperately sick destitute person for meds. Manager A 1 ++++++ should get a huge raise for her heart of gold.
I’m literally about to switch pharmacies. My past two customer service experiences at Walgreens in Seaford. The last time I called to pick up my prescription it was supposed to be ready at 10am. It wasn’t. I called and they lady told me she would get to it when she got to it. I showed up talked to the manager and it was apparently partially ready because they didn’t have the remainder. Then today same prescription show up through the drive through. Arrive @ 12:30. Still sitting there at 12:55. Finally helped at 1 only to be told my normal copay isn’t $20.00 and instead the same prescription I get every month is now $176 because my insurance no longer covers it per this associate. As to speak to another associate. She never got one. I called the insurance they confirmed it’s only $20. As I’m on the phone with the insurance she comes back over the window to say it’s only $20. Now here I am late for my current appointment.
This location has become increasingly difficult. No one answers the phone for at least 30 minutes, the lines are always long or people are waiting for a long time and it seems like there are always new staff who do not know what to do. I have been on hold for about 20 mins as I am writing this review and this is the second time Ive called today and been on hold.
Very slow to fill prescriptions and not always accurate in what they give you. Check your medicine carefully after you receive it.
Love the hours , but sometimes the Techs are confused and cant locate your prescription and not very knowledgeable..Techs revolving door always new faces..
I came to NYC on vacation and the Walgreens gave me such a run around never was able to get it. I call this Walgreens from NYC and explain my situation and they immediately took charge to make sure when I got to Delaware my medicine would be ready. Thanks sooo much now I can finish enjoying my vacation and return to Savannah Ga happy .
Every time I go to pick up my medicine I have to wait. Its been over an hour. That said 10 minutes. So sick of this place. Would have gave it a 0 if I could.
Very slow, never enough staffing to help. Rx are never ready on time. Tried calling to verify Rx, on hold for 20 minutes!!! Switching to another pharmacy, obviously too busy!
Extremely slow pharmacy, lines back to the other departments and not enough staff to adequately serve the customers.. why would they hire enough workers when we let them continue to give us a slow and subpar experience. It baffels the mind
This pharmacy runs like a well oiled machine. Walgreens knows it is important to have many employees there to assist people and that many times people coming in do not feel well. They are kind and courteous to everyone. I love it at Walgreens for these reasons.
Thank you to the pharmacist who quickly took my call, answered my questions about medication interactions and told me to call back if I had more. Nothing more appreciated than a calm voice in a confusing situation - especially because the prescriptions were filled at another (then closedpharmacy.
