It was my first time there and I really liked it. The food was good, the people friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I will definitely go there again.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants Ive ever been to anywhere in the country. Broasted Chicken and the Fried Tenderloin Sandwich are delicious. Gotta get dessert while youre there everything is home-made and so good. Also had the perch, gizzards, fried green beans, all very good. Never had a bad meal there. Servers were always friendly and I never had to wait too long for a table. Ill definitely be back next time Im in town.

Broasted chicken so tender the bones fall out of the wing as you’re eating it. The broasted chicken order is a half chicken or you can get all white (2 breast, 2 wingor all dark (2 thigh, 2 legfor a small charge. We didn’t see an a la carte option. Chicken was very moist. The sweet potato fries are crinkle cut and served piping hot with a sweet dipping sauce. They are also good dipped in ranch dressing. Dinner salad was basic salad mix with cherry tomatoes and a generous helping of shredded cheese. We will be back.

Absolutely eat here. I love the local perch (picturedand braised chicken. House dressing is a must on the salad, its different then anywhere. Also pictured pea salad, home style favorite

We walked into bar area for carryout. We were told we had to sit down before they would even serve us a beverage while we waited on our carry out food!!! Food was great, but the waitress seemed like we were bothering her by even BEING there (which we were told we had to do!Very unwelcoming and negative experience. Then the food was brought to our table in bags and she gave us our bill. With no pen. After a while we went up to bar to get one ourselves since we were apparently an interruption with our presence. Seemed like they didnt want to have any customers!?! We asked for couple of shots since it would be a quick wait.....they took old ones off the table and RE-USED the shot glasses. Umm.....Id be glad to have washed my own in order to get a noncontaminated one, since Im immunocompromised. To be fair, our food was great. r Dont come in early at all to wait on your carryout!! The temp on their thermostat said 80° in the dining area. Maybe employees would have been more hospitable if theyd had some A/C so they werent working in the stifling heat. Not a fantastic experience. Food was great, but couldnt counterbalance all the other.

This is a great little local place. Food is decent, the staff is amazing. Its just off the main road, so next your in the area try it out.

We have been going to Wallake for over 15 years, and it is still as good to day as the first time. Best fish and gizzards. Service is the best and it is always clean.

The steak was like leather. They charged me a dollar for butter for my potato. My husband ribs were the worst ribs he has ever had. They look like a Mc Rib from McDonalds. The manager was very rude along with the waitress. I tried to let them know politely how bad my steak was and they responded rudely. . I ordered an appetizer of mushroom buttons with garlic butter and swiss cheese. They had no garlic butter on them. The worst experience and food we have ever had.

We were at Wall Lake Tavern with a gift coupon for a specific amount. We were treated the same as any cash customers, with dignity and respect. Since we didnt use the whole value of the coupon, the waitress wrote the remaining value on the card and signed it. The food was delicious and we left a sizable tip. Well be going there again soon.

Sadly a place you could miss but dont want to because the food was amazing and service was delightful! Cornbread so good it should be on the dessert menue!

Great little bar and grill off the beaten path. Wonderful and friendly staff with excellent and well priced food. A hidden gem in the area.

Busy on the weekends, but we didnt have to wait too long for a table in the family section. The bar had more available seating. Wish they had outdoor seating! Food was good and service was super-friendly. Lots of locals make this a regular visit.
