Walmart Neighborhood Market in Tuscaloosa County

This time of year expect long lines. Found everything I needed on a Saturday evening.If you like crowds then you should do good.

Can Walmart force you to take extra unpaid lunch time for your overtime that you actually had to work to finish a shift? This location seems to try and push this even when it comes down to minutes???

Love using the app for grocery pickup. Placed order last night and grabbed on the drive, early this morning.You just cant beat it.Also, convenient to use Walmart pay and cream that extra discounted fuel full up at the end!

12 OZ coffee for $7! It is ridiculous.

You can find everything at one stop shop.

Wonderful shopping place. I prefer it for my major monthly groceries. I try others if I just need stuffs urgently

The Pick up area used to be to the right, then they moved it to the middle and both areas were clearly marked. It’s moved to the left now, with no new signage and also no removal of the old signage. I waited half an hour in the marked location. Towards the end I got a phone call from an unknown number that went straight to voicemail but did not leave a voicemail, which would have been helpful. Eventually a very nice young woman walked over to find me. Very frustrating. Updated signage or an alert in the app that the pickup area moved (or both!would be the minimum expectation

The new pickup parking is awful. So bad and dangerous someone should honestly be demoted for that decision. They hardly ever have things stocked and their card readers only work about half the time. I’m normally not so picky, but Walmart brings in WAY too much money to have such ridiculous issues.

They lock the doors 10 minutes before they actually close and will look at you and ignore you as you were knocking on the door

I am sadden that walmart/neighborhood has chosen to put in those self check lines. Giving little choice of checking out. Lines have been long. You could utilize your Employees better.. .... Like open up cash registers. Will find another store to meet my needs.

I didnt go through the whole store, but first impression was very nice, clean, good smells, lighting, the atmosphere is much better than a regular Walmart. I definitely recommend checking this place out for some good deals!

Much preferred over going to a supercenter, however between 5:00 and 7:00pm not a good idea to have all your stock at the end of each aisle ... Because of this it was extremely crowded trying to get up and down each aisle when its super busy. Besides that , they had everything that I needed.

I dont usually go inside but the times that I have its been very clean and no long lines, pick up is above average compared to skyland

Horrible! Absolutely horrible! Never do grocery pick up from this location! I’ve waited over an hour, never got my groceries, had to leave to pick my son up from school. Spoke with the manager and a few employees and every single one of them had terrible attitudes!

Great prices convenient easy. I like the convince. Quick shopping, a few things not available because they are too small a store. I enjoy going here!

I did a Walmart pick up yesterday and had to cancel it due it not being ready in time and I tried to redo the order for a pickup today and waited 2 hours and cancelled again because I had still not received my order nor a time for my order.

I love going here way more than going to the Walmart super center. The employees seem more friendly and helpful. This is my favorite place to shop for groceries

Im not a fan of self checkouts.. I am not a Walmart employee.. there was no choice at this store.. I feel that having 20 self checkouts takes away jobs..

Walmart Market is so convenient that I find myself there several times a week! Earlier in the day, you will find it not crowded. The afternoons are sometimes lcrowded. The people who work there are so helpful, and the pharmacy is great! I do most all of my shopping there, and we get all of our prescriptions there as well. It is usually easy in and out!

It does not matter if you schedule a time or not because the line will be out to the road a minimum wait of 2hr, then once you get the the reserved park. The and mark your place the staff will still only assist people with smaller orders first.I have been in a reserved park for 1HR spoke with 4 employees and still have not been seen yet I have been here for a total of 2 1/2 hrs .Should have just went shopping would have only took 1hr

My order was an hour late which was ok because I was told they were shortstaffed. However after after receiving the text that my order was ready I went to the store and parked in the parks designated for pickup. I checked in and waited for at least 45 minutes. I tried calling the number on the sign I was unable to get an answer. I finally called the store number and eventually was transferred to someone working with the pickup orders. The person asked why I had not called first. I told her that I had and had not gotten an answer. She then proceeded to tell me that I was parked in the wrong area and that I would be called and told where to go when my order was ready.Telling her that I had followed instructions on the app did no good since I would still have to wait. I informed her that all of the parking spaces in the pickup area were full with people waiting for groceries. She said that no one was going to inform these people about waiting in the "wrong" area. They would have to wait until someone eventually called them to inform them that they needed to go to another area other than the designated pickup area. I ended up cancelling the order because no one ever called or came to the area even though I had checked in and followed the check in instructions. I am never going there again for pickup, and I have never had that problem at any other Walmart.

Usually fine here but had a bad experience at pickup. I checked in, drove about 25 minutes, waited in line for about an hour, and was told I needed to come back the next day because they had closed.

I was in the store on Saturday morning, Oct. 30th. It was WONDERFUL!!! The store was stocked, clean, and there werent any vendors clogging up the aisles. It was the best that I have seen it in a long time!! Whatever yall are doing, GREAT JOB!

There are times the store is awfully crowed, but besides that i can pretty much find whatever Im looking for and the store is in a convenient location, and even though its crorowed at times the line does go pretty quickly.

Store was not crowded, walking areas clear and clean. I was able to find all items needed. Prices has increased. Also, looking for best prices on turkeys for the holidays. Lowest prices seen $22.

So I stand in line at customer service around ten mins.one cashier doing nothing at all buy talking and another ringing up a order ,I was doing qic for my neice so I like them to do it to make sure I get right stuff as I am next in line the one girl that was finishing up the order she was ringing to me to go get in other line to do wic I told them I needed help the insisted I use self check out ,I ask for manager I was told she is on a call so a newbie tired to help me that didnt know about wic either I ended up spending cash no biggie about cash but employees the need new training for replace .called to ask for manager and I was told she was the customer service manager. Wow.

I dont want to work when I shop. I miss cashiers. WalMart you got me fd up, and fed up. Wheres my stock options for the work I do shopping at your store. Not even smiles anymore. Just high prices and no service.

There always out if my eyeliner...But today all the employees were very kind and helpful...Stores always clean.

I had to go to the pharmacy It was super busy and I had questions but, A lady there named Winona was very helpful even in the midst of the line of customers She went above and beyond to give great and personal professional service Thank you

Very nice. You cant help but to walk down every isle and it doesnt matter if you have a list or not the friendly atmosphere puts you in the mood to buy something extra.Good cheese selection.

Pretty fast check out you got to use self check out and easy to get everything. Only complaint is the parking lot is kind of tight for a big truck but other than that Thumbs up

Older Walmart Market store just outside of town. Easy access and plenty of parking. Tends to get busy in the afternoons and weekends. Gas is also available that is cheaper than most places in the area.

Dont have fresh grapes nor meat. Everything else is just fine. My main reason for going there is to get a money order for my rent. Very fast and efficient at this location. A young man in the pharmacy was very polite and nice in showing me where the 2032 battery was located. My daughter does my big shopping but for just a few items this store is ideal for me. I wear two masks and I am in and out in a few minutes.

Its terrible, God awful. For some ignorant reason it is now self checkout only. I dont like waiting in line, and refuse to wait behind 25 other people in a self check out. 1 star is way to generous.

I went into this Walmart today and noticed they had eliminated all of the cashier positions. They corralled the customers into one line like cattle. The line was wrapped halfway around the store and every customer had to check out their own groceries. I will never step foot in that store again. They get all these tax breaks and are killing jobs and destroying communities as fast as they can. Shame on you!!!!!!!’

The employees still super nice and the store is always in good shape, but, they have went to ALL self checkouts so be prepared. They do have plenty of people there to help you with your groceries hang scanned and bagged. You dont actually have to do it all yourself if you dont want to.

Theyve removed all check out lanes except self checkout now. Good if you like self checkout but bad if you recognize that most people in the store are slow as Christmas at bagging their own groceries and it is just going to add a lot of time to your wait to check out.

Quaint little grocery store for your basic daily needs. Ive never been in a Walmart that is strictly a Market. Parking lot is small, however, we were able to park our straight truck in the lot.

Theres not as much of a variety of products. Also the prices seem to be slightly higher than the supercenter. I also hate having to scan my own groceries...I should get at least an employee discount if I have to work when I need to buy groceries. The pros are you dont have to walk as far since the store is smaller. The employees are also a tad friendly which is a shock.

Clean store. Friendly employees. Greatly stocked. Merchandise is only ever on the floor if an employee is specifically working on it atm. Bathrooms are actually clean. Lines are surprisingly short and they have more than 1 cashier working the front at a time!!

The store location is very convenient and the staff is helpful and will take me to the location of the item I am looking for. BUT I’ve never had as much trouble finding things as I do here. And too frequently the shelves are not stocked. Then some days and particularly the day before a holiday one time I had trouble getting through the aisles because there were so many stocking personnel. I am a happier shopper when I can go to PUBLIX.

Good place to shop. But the lady at the pick up needs to be trained and didnt say how are you just said hey. Ran my card twice the first one was idk how it got that amount might have been someone elses order and the second time she said oh it pop up again must have didnt gone through. So went to customer service the next day and they tell me theres nothing we can do about that.

This is the place for quick shoppers on groceries and the place is kept clean and tidy at the time of this review. The service is quiet decent for its size and location. This place also has a pickup spot on the left side of the building, just go around on the right side of it to the other side to pick up your groceries; you have to shop online before you pickup your groceries and pay. Be careful with what you order because the things that you buy online to pickup may not be in good condition. Don’t worry as this place is accessible to wheelchair folks. I got a lot of things from here in person and know that you can control what condition of the food products that you choose for your bucks.

They have stopped carrying alot of items I use daily. This use to be my "go to place " but now its a run a grab something real quick at the last minute. Stopped the grocery pick up months ago because they were always out of 10 to 15 things I would order.Whos out of cheese?

Sarah really help my mother and I checking out our groceries.I wont be too personal but we both had surgery recently.Went to physical therapy and came by the local Walmart.The line was long and Sarah took out her time to help check out our groceries.It was heartwarming because we are both recovering and cannot lift heavy things. We are so grateful.Thank you so much :)

I come here often to pick up prescription refills. I sit where the online pickup parking is - if no one is there - and wait - usually doesnt take long. Not even a minute - or sometimes 2 - goes by, & an employee comes out to check & see if I am waiting on an order. Sometimes, I get 2 or 3 while waiting! Thing is, I watch when others pull up, & the employees are very prompt & very polite, not only to their customers, but also to me. I like the store in general, the locations not bad, the pharmacy is efficient...but this experience - & they were extra friendly tonight - greatly impresses me. It is good to know there are still friendly, patient employees in places like this.

We do probably 80% of our grocery shopping here because its smaller than the big walmart and their product selection for grocery store items is great. Checkout is quick, and I buy gasoline at their pumps across the parking lot. Quick trip today for some nice produce (kale and green beansand some sweet tea. If you live anywhere on that side of town you can save traffic hassles by going there.

Lovely experience. Employees were very professional and kind. I called the store to see if an item I needed was in stock. The sales associate was very pleasant and rendered a price check for the item (without attitudeand was kind enough to hold the item at the customer service desk for me. This experience was refreshing. Sad truth is had I not needed the item I would have never gone to this location. Usually I shop at Publixs ONLY, but after tonight I will be returning to this Walmart. Good vibes!!
