Walmart Supercenter in Cochise County

They havent dropped any prices yet, still the same as last month at this time, but Im only buying the necessary food and house hold items nothing extra, and we could all use a treat or 2. 29 April 2022 @ 12pm. TOWN IS GETTING BUSY WITH ALOT OF THINGS GOING ON.I GUESS I NEED TO GO BACK TO EARLIER MORNINGS AGAIN.Well I guess its time to find another place to shop for my groceries, I couldnt find what I needed for the last 2 times here at Wal-Mart, from mid February to now, 8,March 2022.I guess its time to try Safeway here in Benson AZ.I usually find what I need, even though the prices are going up, I can still get what I need.On a fixed budget I can still shop at Wal-Mart.

Rudest pharmacy experience Ive ever encountered. Had a prescription called in from the ER and if I had known Id have to work with Ashley I would have had them call the rx in to ANYWHERE, else even if it had meant a (muchlonger drive.

Typical Walmart. Smaller than a Supercenter. Many store brands items not stocked.

Emily is the most rude worker I have ever encountered I’ve seen her hold people back many times not letting them leave the store, accusing them of stealing when in the end they didn’t steal anything. she needs to be trained on how to properly do her job or just be fired

They gave us a hard time about exchanging a defective tool. We just wanted to exchange it

Ive noticed many new employees recently. Some of the cashiers could be better trained in friendliness. Miss Gayle is always so pleasant! I always look for her! Dont like to use self check!

Walmart is pretty much the same all the time. Its all good.

They have almost everything I need. It can be confusing to find things as they keep rearranging the store.

This is the worst Walmart we have ever used, and the only one in Benson. They have really terrible customer service, and its everything their cashiers can do to force a smile. We try to find the cashiers we normally use every time we go it because they are more personable and willing to actually talk to us. This store runs out of everything all of the time. The other day, no dairy, no eggs...nothing. Coolers broke down, or so we were told. So much for getting the Lenders bagels that I needed. Cat food is a laugh! Good luck on that! If they have anything, youre doing good. I dont even bother with dog food, as that entire area is generally bare shelves. Pharmacy is pretty good compared to Safeway. They are polite, helpful, and compassionate, but usually have lines. Which amazes me that they maintain their positive attitudes. Groceries...what can I say? Its always a hit or miss. Always! Got it one week, empty the next. Produce...ugh! Organics are minimal and usually empty. And this store has an excuse for everything! I kid you not! And if you ask more than one clerk, its always a different excuse between them, as if theyve been trained to fall back on excuses instead of going to the manager and requesting accountability for their bare shelves. Bigger stores have gone bankrupt, so eventually, even this big box company will face financial crumbling if they dont get their stuff together. After nearly five years dealing with them here in Benson, I cannot wait to see what happens to their profits when competition moves in, and you can bet it will. We tend to go to Tucson anymore to shop, despite the drive and gas used. Its nice to have options, more organic choices, and less excuses!

This place is alright. The day I was there was crowded because it was back to school day. And it was the first Walmart where I can find g fuel!

The store never has anything I want its like a throwaway store you take what you get we have to go all the way to Sierra Vista to find stuff or Tucson it could be a lot better

Went to purchase a money order at customer service and and I stood at the counter and had to listen to a so called manager named Hannah gripe out and humiliate this poor girl that was behind the counter yelling at her very nasty very ugly to her coworker I didnt come here To listen up Hannah disrespect other employees. So I got my money ordered and I carried on did my shopping went to check out there was Hannah Holding up the line because she just had to Belittle another employee infront of customers. She just cost you a good paying customer I refuse to come to the store again because of HannahHANNAH IS Rude disrespectful inconsiderate. She is far from being a manager. A manager does not be little other employees in front of customers.Customers dont want to hear it and who does she think she is to humiliate everybody, shame on her. Shame on you Walmart for allowing this. Is not OK.Reading the reviews I see theres many complaints about her but does Walmart do anything about it? ???NOOOO. So whoevers in charge At the store apparently thinks its OK for managers to disrespect other employees in front of customers. Walmart pharmacy refused to fill my prescription after getting it filled there for a couple of years. Pharmacist said I wasnt local. My address may be Huachuca City but I live quite a way North of Huachuca city and out in the boonies. Benson Walmart is as local as it gets for me. Ill not shop at Walmart again no matter where I am.

Brief stop here to charge the car and pick up a few things. Friendly, helpful staff.

The absolute rudest most insulting "customer service rep" I have EVER experienced in my entire life as a CASH PAYING customer. The so called cashier named "Hanna" was the most humiliating and insulting person I have ever been privileged to meet. This person CLEARLY needs some kind of help in her own life. Attn. Manager! She is killing your stores reputation and good name. I now will comment to corporate offices. Thanks

Always the same story with walmart...poor selection and even worse service.Before they justify overpaying someone for doing next to nothing, they should really check them out first.

We live in another town and stopped here to do a quick shopping. I had gone to the ladies room and I had forgotten to get my iPhone. I passed a female associate when I left the restroom and thought nothing of it. Hours later at home over 50 miles away. I discovered I didn’t have my phone but (find my)located it in the Wal-Mart. I called and identified the phone. The next day I went to pick up my phone. Not only did this associate return my phone when she found it. She returned it with my money that I had in the case. I wanted to give the associate a reward but, associate’s are forbidden from taking monies. To the young lady who returned my phone! Thank you and your honesty and integrity are above and beyond. I wished I knew who you are! You deserve to be recognized for your honesty.

Great place to shop, they have almost anything and everything that you might need great customer service, they are not usually very busy and there is almost never a line at the self check out, but the cashier check out is a whole different story there is almost always a line and the area is very packed usually. Over all a great place to shop they have groceries, everyday items and an auto department and pretty much anything that you can think of.

It’s a typical Walmart experience. I love that nothing is locked up behind glass, forcing you to find an associate. So it not having anything locked up and available to shop with ease is a benefiting factor.

This Walmart employs incompetence. Item listed online and the app for $3 leas than the shelf price. They wouldnt change it claiming its company policy, then store policy, then whatever they could think of to say that MIGHT make any sense. Yeah, it was only a $3 difference but it really says a lot to value your complete intelligence as a group, of no more than $3.Oh, all of this after a Walmart in Tucson changed the price, no questions asked.

5 stars because you allow semi trucks to park overnight and shop in your store. Thank you all for carrying on the original owner of Walmart wishes for a safe haven for us truckers. We are very grateful.

It is kind of small, and often runs out of things I like, but the store is clean and is reasonably uncrowded during weekday mornings.

Update: I dont know what changed, but the pharmacy has really gotten things together over the last couple months. Meds are now consistently ready when promised. Great job turning things around!Original review: This review is specific to the Walmart Pharmacy in Benson, AZ. Meds called in Monday, told theyd be ready Tuesday. Went to pick them up on Wednesday- not ready. Tried again on Saturday - STILL not ready! Not the first issue of this type that weve had.

Its not large for a supercenter, but very handy to have regardless. Their merchandise & food selection is good & employees are friendly. Im glad its in the community.

Walmart always got your back when you need them, clean stores small but it got what you need.

Its Walmart peeps! It had a nice upgrade recently, including lots of self-checkouts. Careful though, some of the customer service team are quick to accuse you of not ringing up things and quick to judge you are a thief. Also, the loss prevention dude that walks the store, creepy man, looks and judges everyone as a thief as well. Ive seen him hiding behind things to watch people. Ill post a pic of him soon so you are aware.

Stock wasnt bad, staff was friendly store was clean, produce was in great shape. Alcohol selection was pretty basics. They do have a large RV community RV space saving, and storage solutions would be wise, I think.

Never again I went to return an item within the time frame with a receipt and had to deal with a manager name Hannah who was very rude very disrespectful wouldnt let me talk kept putting her hand up to my face rolled her eyes. My experience there was awful this woman has no business being in management she has no customer service skills whatsoever nor does she have any management skills she refused to refund me for a defective item I purchased Come to find out Im not the only one who returned this item . This Hp red 15.has been returned by several customers for the same reason glitching and crashing according to the other employee that was in the customer service area..

Be careful which self check you use .Sonenof them do not take cash. Most people there are willing to help.they have new employees that are still learning so mistakes are being made when they load the shelves. If it seems too good to be true it is. Nake sure to let a manager know . ThatvwY you find out the real price.

Came in Really close to closing. This is a Very Customer Friendly Walmart. No rushing...as in others Ive been to around closing time! Sometimes, making customers feel frustrated or unwanted. Love it!

The worst managed Walmart, Ive ever seen. If you want help at gun counter use the walmart phone at the counter and dial 6150. They send someone down everytime.Never enough people on registers. Called the manager he had every excuse. If we all call walmart and ask for a manager an complain and then go to self checkout and make them scan each item they may learn to put folks on registers. Please join me in demanding better service by calling and forcing checkout monitors to provide customer service. Afterall you dont get employee pricing for working your own register so why would you let them work for then for free.

Oh Walmart, honestly if you live here you have to go to this lovely establishment because it is the only department store within a 40 mile radius. The store is going through some much needed renovations so it is definitely looking better. The employees definitely try to help, but the patrons....I suggest not engaging and if can drive the 40 miles head to Target.

Drove to Walmart 3 times to pick up this prescription After receiving a Text saying theyre ready for pick up! Not ready!! Are you kidding after standing in line EACH TIME for over 45 minutes!! HORRIBLE SERVICEIll be changing pharmacies and I know you dont care!And being on hold on the phone to speak to a human over and HOUR each time.This is a poor excuse for a pharmacy

Low stock, higher prices these days. Cashier very slow and 2 higher priced items didnt make it into my cart. They werent large so we didnt notice until we got home, 25 miles away. No defined lines so there was chaos at the checkout. Only 3 people in front of us with less than 10 items and we still waited almost half an hour to checkout.

This store absolutely made my day. I tried the grocery pick-up for the first time today. It was the easiest smoothest hassle-free shopping experience Ive ever had in my life. A lot easier than sitting in a McDonalds drive-thru getting something for lunch.You text them when you arrive in the parking lot. You pick a number slot to park in. They text you right away. A pleasant young woman comes up to the window. She told me one of my items that I purchased was replaced with another item. She asked me if this replacement was okay to me. I said yes. She put my items in the trunk away I went.

The Walmart here in Benson is friendly and clean Ill be its been sparse on keeping things in stock, the last few months, but I expect that to be with delivery problems with the covid virus. Anyway the staff are usually friendly and very nice and they look united and everything else that goes along with great customer service. Just like I said earlier, the only issue Ive ever found is that they dont carry everything all the time so if another store has it they probably wont.

We stopped to pick a few items during our cross country trip. The employee in the electric department we very knowledgeable and helpful.

There was plenty of everything I needed on the shelves. Had a pleasant shopping experience, up untill I checked out. I park by the garden center after I drop my 81 year old mother off at the front. Its easier for her so she doesnt have to go back through the store, then find our vehicle. She and I have been doing this for the last few years. Well the guy relieving the normal cashier for her lunch, was obviously not happy I had $200 worth of stuff in my basket and proceeded to speak under his breath about my FULL BASKET. I asked him if the rules had changed and we werent allowed to check out back there anymore and he said no its just easier because there are people up there that can help us better than he could. He was obviously irritated. I was getting 6 frozen pizzas and when I grabbed them 3 of them where in the wrong spot. I told him oh no those are the wrong ones I dont want those. He then began to complain about having to find someone to take them back. So I said well if someone is coming to take those back could they grab the right ones to bring with them. He then said his radio wasnt working and I could go get them if I wanted to. I looked at the people waiting behind me and said never mind Ill just take the right ones I had. Eventually his radio started working again after a few words back and forth and he had someone bring the right ones and picked up the others. He just kinda ruind my mood after shopping for a few hours. We dont have a Walmart in our town so we go to either Benson or Safford. I may have to start going to Safford.

Well stocked and maintained store. Well lit and handicap accessable. Great values for the local shopper.
