Love this music store. Friendly helpful service at all times. They have all acoustic instruments. From high end to beginning. Guitars, mandolins, bass, fiddles, dobros, banjos. They repair instruments. Restring for you. Great accessories for your instruments. Music lessons are available with great instructors. I mostly like this store because it is locally owned and operated.
We had a few guitars and a banjo restrung and serviced/repaired. These guys are TOP NOTCH! So friendly and customer service oriented.
Very nice man helped me.Very personableI highly recommend this business. They have a huge selection of anything you need!
Wasatch Guitar didnt have what I needed, but their stock has been difficult to maintain lately. My jumbo size guitar needs a pretty big case. L, which they didnt have.Gracious and accommodating, they have a wide range of non-typical stringed instrument products, with a focus on lap steel guitars, orchestral instruments, and a variety of banjo and mandolin products.
We’ve been going to Kevin for all of our cello needs since my son started orchestra! He has been wonderful to work with. We won’t be going any where else!
very helpful and great to work with.
Best service in the biz!! Kevin and his team are awesome! Honest, knowledgeable, and fast turn around especially with how busy they are. Great deals too Id youre looking to purchase!
Ive had a few occasions to visit this shop. In every case, Ive felt support and caring for whatever challenge brought me there. Easy choice for me when I need something.
Excellent service and owner!! Had an amp issue and he was able to take the part in question, fix it and have it back the next day and it works beautifully. On top of that for guitar players picks are everything and he has EVERY single kind you could want. Even turned me on to a new pick and itll be replacing my usual ones. Great store and customer service, thank you Leigh for passing on the message and getting the repair turned around in a day!!
I had some buzzing going on with my guitar that i just couldn’t eliminate, but Kevin (the store owneris an absolute wizard, and not only was he successful with getting rid of that awful buzz, he also did one of the best guitar setups I’ve ever seen. Bravo to him and his friendly staff for an awesome experience. Thank you!
The nice gentleman here set up my mandolin in 1 day, including a whole new bridge slot, re-string and setup all for a pretty good price, and he even had a single string on hand I needed for my 8 string ukulele. He really went above and beyond with what I expected.
Fun little shop, great selection and good service. A fun place to visit from out of town
Extremely fast with repairs. Brought 2 guitars in for pickup rewire they were done same day, and done correctly. Very nice people. Wish I knew of this place sooner.Highly recommend this place.
Christmas Eve I was finishing up my granddaughters present he had everything I needed he was knowledgeable. He appeared to have a great selection of anything you might need I recommend going there.
Amazing place, they got me exactly what I was looking for with no time wasted, and without making me feel rushed.
Great place for banjo setup - bought a used banjo and they took it from miserable to marvelous.
1st time there. They have a decent amount of inventory of instruments/product at this time, but that goes for every store on this planet during these times. The employee was super friendly and helpful.Keep these small local business operating!Definitely going back.
Very friendly personal service. These people are experts and wont just try to make a sale. They give honest trustworthy advice. Wide selection of instruments and accessories.
Its generally not great customer service or good for business when you mock your customers. I almost dropped $500 plus on a new acoustic guitar, but Ill be going somewhere else. For example, I came to get my nylon acoustic guitar restrung; and as Im paying, the old guy says, "Now you can go out and shred and get all the girls." Its a nylon guitar. Shred? To get all the girls? Yeah-- and I think the guy was on something. But IDK. He was acting very strangely. This was my first time in the shop. Otherwise, he did a good job putting the strings on the guitar.
Best string and folk instrument store...ever. Kevin, his wife and staff are wonderful. Nice selection, excellent pricing and the best service around.
Great store with helpful staff and reasonable prices. Death to Guitar Center go here instead!
Everything I would want in a music store. Great selection and good prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, we got every question answered and had a nice conversation to boot. I always prefer doing business locally whenever possible, and this is a business that I will be re-visiting, I may be taking guitar lessons here in the future.
Nice guy great attitude and very knowledgeable will definitely be back for our banjo needs
Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. I really like his store. He recommended a Teton classical guitar and its my favorite instrument Ive ever owned.
Great service I had a guitar that the tuning peg got stripped out on and they got put back together for a great deal! I’ll be back for sure
Warning: if you visit this store you may become addicted to buying instruments and feel you need every instrument they sell! This ma and Pa shop has a wide variety of instruments and excellent customer service! Employees were very helpful in helping my find a guitar that had what I was looking for. I appreciated their willingness to help highlight some of the features of different guitars, but didnt hover while I tried out different makes. I didnt feel pressured at all. In fact maybe a little pressure would have pushed me to make my decision quicker. Prices are comparable with other shops in the area. Theyve got a large selection of 6 string acoustic guitars, but have a little of everything including any instrument you might want for bluegrass with music to boot!
These guys are the best when it comes to all your acoustic and electric guitar needs. They know what they are doing and will treat you right.
I get my diddario guitar strings from here best place ive gone in a while for my strings. Id give more stars if i could
Great local music shop. They have some higher end Eastman guitars and mandolins as well as Teton and Recording king. Excellent Luther Services as well, they have never let me down.
I got the itch to start playing again and picked up my guitar from my parents house where it had been sitting for about a decade. I found that it was in pretty rough shape with the high E string not even playable because it was hitting the 14th fret due to some crazy neck warp and an out of adjustment saddle. I searched for "guitar repair" and saw this place was close, open late and had great reviews. I called them up and Kevin was able to help me out. I brought it in around 2pm this afternoon and he suggested a setup to address the issues. I was completely blown away when he told me theyd have it ready later the same day. Sure enough, I got a call this evening and was told it was all done. I grabbed it just before 8 and was able to jam within hours of thinking my guitar would only be good for wall art! Fantastic service! I honestly love to see stores like this and will be back to support them! By the way, they put new strings on my guitar along with the set up. The same strings I ordered the day before with 2-day shipping for $4 more. If you want it faster than Am@z0n and a better price, this place is your answer.
I cant believe I just learned of this place! Super friendly people helped me get what I needed to get strumming again. While I waited for Austin to find the part I needed, my wife and I looked at and played a bunch of beautiful instruments that I wish I could take home! We will be going back for any and all of our instrument repairs, and for any new additions to our collection :Thanks again to Austin and Wasatch Musician!
I love this little store. Very friendly, helpful folks and good selection of acoustic guitars, banjos, violins, mandolins, etc. I had them do some work on my guitar and they made it play like a dream. They also offer guitar lessons.
Fair prices and great service. Wasatch carries great instruments from a variety of small brands and their repair department is killer.
Excellent little local music shop. I needed a wall hanger for my guitar and didnt want to shop from an oversized online store, so I popped in here. They had what I needed for the same price that I would have paid online and they let my friend try out the bass they had on display while I shopped. Ill shop here again.
Fantastic little music shop, Ive gone in a couple of times for guitar setups/repairs and the service is great. Lots of helpful professional knowledge and very friendly people! Will definitely be back!
Couldn’t find any musical toys for my son anywhere! but Austin was able to show me a catalog of childerens instruments and he had them ordered for us in less than a week!
I had gone to Guitar Center first because I wanted to upgrade my guitar. As usual, the service (or lack there ofsucked. Having worked at a Guitar Center this makes me extra mad because they are supposed to be great with customer service. Nope, I was never even acknowledged even after playing about 20 different guitars. Fast forward, I hit up Wasatch Musician on my way home and immediately am welcomed and helped. Service was stellar! Listened to what I wanted and before I knew it I had a guitar I just loved at a good price and the reassurance that theyve got my back if I need anything else! Ever so happy! Thanks guys!
Took my guitar here several times to get a buzz fixed, it never got fixed. Took my guitar to guitar center, they fixed it the first time and fixed everything these people did. Attempted to get my money back and they refused.
Very friendly and helpful. They have some cool and unique instruments in stock.
Great prices, great people and fixed my guitar quickly. The parts they fixed it with were great and fit my needs perfectly. I would definitely recommend going here.
Pretty awesome staff, especially Austin. Took in an old cheap banjo to get tuned up and he gave incredible service, advice and knowledge. Would recommend to anyone from high class instrument purchase and repair all the way to lower end tune ups. Will be back.
Great local shop. Gave me an affordable setup on my guitar in a timely manner. Super nice and helpful over all. Cool selection of various instrument types.
I had them restring an old guitar for me. It was very affordable and they did a great job. After, I asked questions about other instruments, and was treated to some great knowledge! Friendly place, and Ill be back.
Great store! Eastman selection is great.. Austin, Kevin, and DeAnn are awesome folks. Banjo selection is also great.
Wonderful business, has the largest selection of Eastman instruments and resonator banjos I have seen in the state. He has other special gear like Blue Chip thumb picks, which is nice because I heard good things about them but preferred to try one before purchasing (I came home with it). Shop offers setup and repair. Runs a few jam sessions, weekly. Happy to have a store like this locally. Ill be back.
Nice and knowlegable staff. They sell custom leather guitar straps. They are great quality leather and design. You cant find these anywhere else for a price so low.
They are very knowlegeable and fixed, cleaned and tuned an instrument for me very affordably. They also have many classes for different instruments as well as days when you can bring a guitar and sit down with others to group jam. Great place to go!
Great place to find a guitar. I went in and asked if I could play a few to try them out and they allowed me to try any of them, even if it was out of my price range. They didnt try to hustle me into buying one or anything and are a very helpful and friendly staff. They also have a group of music loving people come by sometime during the week to just sit and jam. I will definitely be going back and love this little store.
This is the #1 Music Store in Utah. So far I bought 3 great Guitars here. And the quality of service is excellent and unique. I recommend Wasatch Musician.
friendly, knowledgable staff. Ive tried about ~50 guitars in 3 days. This place had the largest number of beautiful instruments in my price range. If youre in the market for an acoustic, you need to visit this place and play around.
