Very clean, professional, and covid conscious. Ask for Tressie shes the best!
Kayla Pia did an awesome job waxing me. She played Hawaiian music and was super friendly. There was no pain. Loved the Waxon atmosphere and to see the water on the sound.
Not hard wax. Disappointing!
Only used soft wax and the owner is rude. Would leave 0 stars
Its my fav spot in the town for waxing. Best thing about this place is that only one customer is served at a time due to pandemic. Undivided attention is all we want.
Everytime i go to WAXON everyone does a fantastic job and makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed. The staff are very professional and friendly. Today was beyond fantastic, Tresse was so thoughtful and damn good at her trade. Thank you Tresse!
So professional! They did a great job!
I have known about WAXON for many years as they have AWAYS BEEN AMAZING but just recently started going again and I am just SO impressed by the high quality products, the wonderful clinicians, and the REaL Seattle experience! I forgot how easy and smooth waxing should be—Thank you WAXON!
I went into Waxon Belltown for a routine back waxing. I have been getting waxed in that area for 15 years. After my visit I noticed what felt like a sunburn. I went to look and to my horror found that a great deal of my back skin had been sheered off. In all the years Ive been getting this done this has never happen. I am completely at a lost for words at the amount of damage. After my discovery I tried to contact Waxon via 2 phones numbers and an email that was on their website. No one answered at either location or returned my voicemail or answered my email. PLEASE be careful with this company. They do not protect their clients. If there is an issue you are on your own. Im starting to see scaring from the tears in my back. Im very fearful that there is permanent damage and no one at Waxon is willing to help,
The location I selected and confirmed with three weeks prior to my actual appointment date did not offer facials. I found this out when I showed up for my planned appointment and the receptionist/waxoligist was unapologetic and did not offer me a discount for the inconvenience. The actual waxing itself was patchy. I had to shave the visible patches myself afterwards - I spent over $150. Inexcusable. Would not recommend
Ive been to several of the Wax On spas and they are all fabulous . Services are fantastic and staff is friendly and professional .
I had the best experience with Tatyana and Julia! Both times I have come in for Lash tint, Brow Tint and Brow Waxing and Brazillian! The ladies are AMAZING! They take time to tell me what they are doing and what I should expect! They even gave me free gift on the way out the door! They truly are blessed at their craft and I will DEF be back soon! Thanks Ladies!
I like the hours
I am a Brazilian regular for the past 10 years. I just moved to Seattle and tried Wax On because it was right around the corner from where I was staying. If you are looking for a thourough, good job, this is not the place. It is all hard strip wax and for my hair and Alex did not do a good job to my standards.I have had one really awful Brazilian in my life, this was my second worst. It is always unfortunate to pay so much money and have a poor experience and for them to not be thourough
I have been waxed by Alex several times. She is thorough and quick. She has always done a great job.
Alex waxed my back and did an awesome job! Barely felt a thing. Will definitely be back!
I am not a small person, and my thighs are enourmous. However Alex did a great job of waxing my incredibly hairy giant legs down to a nice smooth texture. And I even have places where the hair didnt grow back! Plus shes very Trans friendly, so if you want to be treated right come here and ask for Alex!
This place is dangerous. Take a look at the pictures of the burns they gave me! Those were taken a few days ago but now they are blistering and looking even worse. I saw Alex on the 27th of December 2016 for a male maintenance eyebrow wax (keep the uni-brow away, etc). It doesnt take much waxing at all to do this right and I am usually out of other places in 5-10 minutes. After she was done, I knew immediately that there was something wrong but I had no idea how bad it would be until the next day. Walking out of the storefront, I could barely open my left eye, scorching pain in both eyes. The following day, that persisted but the burns were blistered and red. People at work were asking if I got hit in the face... saying, "Oh my god! what happened!!??" That day I called them to give them a chance to offer me a refund and good grace in the form of some kind of treatment/ help to get this repaired. I really just want my face back to normal. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE MANAGER. The receptionist, a pleasant girl named Jessica, gave me a ring and told me that the manager would give me a call but it has been 4 days and I have not heard from them. These burns were 100% not caused by the products that I was using. Im a guy!-- I use moisturizer and sunscreen on my face... not peels and stuff that would be an issue. I have gotten eyebrows waxed at other places without issue before. Do not go to this location for your brows or anything else.EDIT: (In response to the ownerAs i mentioned on the call, please do not send me a refund yet. I will not cash the check as of now. I have consulted my lawyer and would like to know how you intend to pay for medical damages before I accept your refund. If you would like to take this discussion private, please send a message to my phone number and I will give you my email so we can talk via mail.
As a guy I found it extremely uncomfortable and I didnt like waxing till I found wax on. Very painful anywhere else. Thanks!
While the wax was very thorough, my customer experience was quite negative. Before I even went back the esthetician to the customer before me that she didnt leave her enough of a tip and made her uncomfortable until she found cash to make it up. Then when I was back and we were talking, she told me that "when" I have kids I wont be able to keep my job because Ill have to take care of them. I just stopped talking at that point. Overall horrible customer service.
Very nice, clean place. Nice girl did the waxing. My eyebrows look almost identical to when I arrived even though she spent a lot of time on them. Whatever balm she applied to my skin caused a rash then a terrible break out. Skin looks worse now, should of kept my mustache and chin hair. Would of had nice skin and $70.00 still in my pocket.
Worst experience ever. The girl spent the majority of my appointment on the phone, leaving the wax all over me. Made an absolute disaster of my "private area." I asked who her boss was to file a complaint and she informed me "I can assure you she does not care."This is the 3rd location Ive visited and of theirs and needless to say I will NOT be returning.Very frustrating.
I recently visited the North Portland location. While waiting over 20 minutes for someone to realize I was there, I had the pleasure of witnessing two rats run down their hall. When mentioning this to the girl working, she said with the most sarcastic tone, "welcome to Wax ON." I was so disgusted with the place and the location in Belltown, WA I will not be returning. I honestly dont know how this place is in business.
Ive been to 3 of these spas (I was given a gift certificate and didnt want it to go to wasteand every experience was absolutely horrible. This particular location was the worst.I called for an appointment and got an unprofessional voicemail. After 2 hours I finally get a call back to schedule me in. I show up and there is no receptionist to check me in, get me water, etc.(thus explaining the lack of live body on the phone and 2 hour wait time only to schedule an appointment). So I sat in the empty lobby for almost 20 minutes and this girl walks in, sees me waiting, and ROLLS HER EYES and says "Oh thats right... youre here for a 3 oclock?" I look at my watch that reads 3:19pm and said "yes." She then made me wait even longer excusing her self to "finish something up" and I waited another ten minutes. So I lay down, 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and am ready for my brazilian. NEVER, I mean EVER go to this location in your life. I left bleeding, and there was so much skin missing from patches of my vagina I had to wear neosporin smothered gauze for 6 days!Ive had plenty of waxing done in my life, and have never seen such horrible customer service, or results. Especially for the ridiculous prices they offer. NEVER GO!
I have been going to Wax on for over seven years now, and the experience has been excellent! Normally I see Stephanie (who is fantastic), but over the years I have seen other aestheticians due to scheduling changes. They have all done a great job. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in waxing.
Really friendly and accommodating staff. However I have encountered different prices for service depending on who is doing the work.
