Had two Double Stacks and Two Crispy Chicken sandwiches,They were fresh hot and delicious!!!Update 10-4-22, Whats going on Wendys, Everytime Ive attempted to drive threw the place is closed and looks abandoned?, PLEASE, fix the situation, I wont change my previous rating unless this persists

The person working the drive through was so rude we left mid-order and went elsewhere

Short staffed, closes super early, wait time is ridiculous. Don’t waste your time.

I was disappointed that the dining room was closed but honestly these workers are awesome at their job. The drive thru line was insanely long and they rocked out those orders faster than anyone could expect. And they served hot, fresh food and were pleasant while doing so. Really impressed with how great they did.

We have been going to this Wendys for years now. This place has REALLY gone down hill!!! First off the staff was RUDE!!! The girl taking our order at the drive thru had no idea what customer service is or should be. We ordered chicken Nuggets (the regular not the spicy). We had 4 orders and every single order had spicy Nuggets at the bottom of the carton. The regular Nuggets that they did give us were cold and hard so it was clear that they used what was left over to complete our order but didnt have enough Nuggets so they mixed them up. Then they refuse to give us a receipt. They said their receipt printer was broken. We paid almost 40 bucks for dinner for our family of 4 and got hard cold Nuggets, the wrong food and a bad attitude from someone who was clearly miserable to be working there. Then we called the night manager on duty, she apologized and offered no solution and no way to rectify the situation. Terrible customer service and terrible experience. And this was not the only time we have had similar problems here.

Went to order a burger and shake. They informed me it would B over 25 mins for my order. They informed me they had 3 customers ahead of me and there was only 2 people working at the time. Informed them I couldnt wait for 25 minutes for a take out. Asked them why they had only 2 people working during a dinner time time of day. They indicated that a couple of people just quit and they could not find anyone else to work there. She offered me a Job, but told her I already had one. Went across the road to Loves Gas Station and there was no one behind the counter. There was a Gal stocking the shelf and I asked her if she could check me out so I could leave. Asked her where R the other people working there. Her response was a couple of people just quit 🙄 and she qas the only one doing everything there. Told her its really hard to find people that actually want to work for money anymore. Seams a good part of our Society doesnt want to work and looking for easy money.

Very tasty! Try the strawberry frostie! It was great! I got Dave’s Double and my parents got the jr bacon cheese burger and frites. The burgers are still huge, everywhere companies are cutting corners but not Wendy’s! Still got those big square beef patties! Thank you for the delicious meal!

Sadly theyre very short staffed and the dining was not available but I will say the two maybe three employees that were working there were the kindest people ever. Nice hot food was completely satisfied.

Next time? Set your lobby hours accordingly to the app. Was wanting to Dine In,but all the lights were off. Only drive thru. Time was 8:30pm. Lobby closes at 10!

We had orders for eight people, they got the whole order right and put each one in individual bags making it sooo much easier in the car! Great service!

The only thing I have to complain about is the lobby was closed when we got their due to lack of staff but yet when we piled up in one car to go thru one person was just standing there leaning on the lobby counter other than that food was good and hot and love the lemonade

Anytime I go threw Wendy’s I pray that they can make my order right but every time my prayers do not work and they end up messing up my order I know that your short staffed and stuff but come on man that doesn’t mean you guys don’t understand simple orders like making something have nothing on it or no ice. Wendy’s please add a iq test before hiring please and thank you.

Food was fresh and hot. Lady at the drive thru window was rude though. When your traveling and stuck in the car for hours the last thing you wanna de with is a rude person.

The food was fine, and the building was recently remodeled and looks nice. The restrooms, on the other hand, were very dirty. The floors were very sticky in both the womens and mens. The trash was overflowing and close to full in the mens (not even noon yet). Then when I wanted to change my toddler, I had to make a space in the car instead of using the changing table. The handicapped stall (I assume this is where the changing table is.was locked because there was something wrong with it.

People were friendly but our food looked like it been sitting already made for awhile. Chicken nuggets were cold.

Screwed up order, and didnt give us any napkins or silverware on our to go order. Our food was very poor quality and got all jumbled up with the person before us

They never put gloves on when making food day shift..night crew puts gloves on trust me I worked their.. Bill never can do his job right never ran cams back for crew when one manager pushed Me because she had to put a sandwich in a bag when their was someone bagging not me a Manger who was not doing their job like most of them then... night crew and Manger know what their doing

Wendys is my favorite fast food restaurant. This Wendys was fast and professional. The food was very good.

The new specialty sandwiches are simply delicious. The service was great. I particularly like the fact that the meals are bagged separately. No sorting food for the family. Combos are little more expensive but worth every penny.

Quicker service than McDss half a block away. Food is always better too. Tastes real, not processed.

Staff was nice but service was pretty slow. The new fries are gross regardless if they are fresh or not.

Bad wont go back. Very dirty, floors are sticky. No one at counter to take orders everyone in back not really doing anything. Water on floor in kitchen employees walking through it or stepping over. I would recommend not eating here.

Very busy day. Spent 30 minutes in li e to order. Lunch time on July 5th. Wheen food arrived, it was hot and the order was correct

The drive thru has been very slow the last month or so with long wait times. Items are oftentimes forgotten so make sure to check your bag at the window.

We stopped in last week one evening and the place was a disaster. The floor was full of muck and you could hardly walk on it. Our children were falling down on it, adults could hardly stay upright. There was not a clean table to eat at, I saw people placing napkins down on the table to eat off of those vs risking using the dirty table top. There was food all over the floor as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. The restrooms were horrid, just disgusting.I should call the health inspector and file a complaint. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.One word of advice, AVOID.

The service I receive is always good. I once had to wait 15 minutes because the line was all the way around the store and they apologized for my wait. I thought it was so nice because it wasnt their fault they were in the middle of the dinner rush.

Very unclean. The floor was slick with something and I almost wiped out multiple times. My toddler daughter slipped and fell repeatedly. There was only one other family there yet almost all the tables were dirty with crumbs and chairs pushed out. The bathrooms... Well as you can guess were so bad I ended up changing my daughters diaper in the car. In one word, filthy.

Person taking an order was courteous and efficient and wearing a mask. However, both restrooms were dirty with a paper towel dispenser that did not function and trash that was over flowing. Most people entered with masks on but a couple of people did not and nothing was said. But we were in Iowa where there is no state- wide mandate.

We drove through this location on our way through town, they messed up a basic order. Called right away, manager argued that the order was correct. Sandwich was missing most of the ingredients. He said GM would call next day. 4 days later, still no call.Not a huge deal but sandwich as we got it, not worth the price and they made no effort to correct it.

If you happen to be having a bad day, or if the skies are extra dark above you, or if life is just a bit unsettling, may I recommend the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger? It is an astonishingly delicious affair, straightforward and basic, meat, lettuce, and bacon. Ask for some ketchup on the side and add that to the top: Voila ! The result is a mouth watering, elegantly simple combination of tasty eating. Enjoy.

Over the past 15+ years we have stopped at this location, the people are great, food has been consistent but the building is in need of some updating. We will continue during on trips to Minnesota to stop here, but hoping to see some updates.

Food is always fresh, and really good. Only the drive through is open. My husband and I drive a big rig, they were kind enough to take our order at the window. Other places dont like doing that and sometimes wed get turned away.

Was very good. Also did very well with my wifes gluten allergy. Made hamburger with large leaf of lettuce on both sides instead of bun. And served in a plastic container in a separate bag so my meal didnt contaminate hers.

Absolute worst place of my life. They were horrible, entitled, and rude to me. A manager with glasses threatened to kick me out for distracting one of her workers. She was rude and disrespectful when I was doing nothing wrong. The service takes forever and the food isnt even worth it. Dont recommend

Three times now we went thru the drive thru, slowest drive thru I can think of, we were the only customers each time around 8pm. Same person in the window VERY RUDE, cant believe shes still there. Check your order before you get going down the road.

Burgers were very dry. Waited almost a half hour in the drive through, and I only got a couple burgers. They did however give me an extra frostee... however, no straw(sfor either of them.

It was busy but.. One of thr female employees (heavyset middle agedwas pretty rude. We ordered tea and she told the other employee we dont have that much tea left tell them to get soda. We dont have time to make any. Okay.... I get it... But to say all that in front of the customers is not very appropriate.

We drove thru on our way through town. Our order was accurately packaged and our food was fresh. We ordered chicken nuggets and frostys. The food was excellent. Our frosty was at the correct temperature and consistency to be eaten in the car without spillage.

Some coworkers and I went there for lunch, the lady at the cash register looked and acted like she was annoyed on how busy it was on a Friday. She was very rude and unprofessional. She walked away from a costumer who didn’t speak English well. As she walked away she mumbled, “I don’t have the time for this s***.” She was rolling her eyes and tapping her fingers while people were ordering. On top of that the store was filthy. I recommend going to one of the other 5 restaurants in the area.

Always like Wendys food and prices. Free senior drinks, and with a $2 fob all the frosties you want for a year! Excellent prices, and very nice employees. They treat customers as if they really are glad to see you.

Stood at the front counter for a few minutes and no one even acknowledged us. No eye contact or "well be with you soon". Even walking to the frosty machine they did nothing. Worst service my wife or I have gotten at a fast food restaurant. Culvers is just 200 feet to the east and that would be my suggestion for quick food in Clear Lake.

Professional and courteous gal working there- she greeted us at 9pm- as we entered the Clear Lake IA Wendys restaurant. She was helpful and gave us our food quickly. Great food. We will be back!

5 stars simply arent enough for this review. I now divide all meals into two categories: those I had before Wendys in Clear Lake, Iowa and those after. The friendly staff had fantastic suggestions and the Fresh (never frozenbeef dazzled the taste buds. Perhaps one day we can achieve a more perfect planet, until then, take solace in the fact that you can get one hell of a meal at the Wendys in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Out family was driving thru on our way to Minnesota. We were all starving as it was past 8:00 and we hadnt eaten supper. We decided to stop at Wendys as I am gluten intolerant and typically love Wendys salads.The staff was not super excited about serving us. The shift manager had attitude about having to come over to swipe her card to fix our order. She was wearing gloves when she touched the screen, then went back to touching food. The floor was disgusting, food EVERYWHERE. I almost left but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.We got it to go to get back on the road quickly. We got back on the interstate when I took a bite of something very bitter I continued eating hoping it was a tart piece of apple. I then had two more bites that tasted just awful. The salad was bad, the apples were bad. I couldnt force myself to eat this salad and at this point we had no time to turn around.That has never happened at any Wendys before. I am so ticked off right now...I went from starving to nauseous and threw $7 away. 😬I will be calling management Monday.
