I would say its your average Wendys which isnt great but it does the job.
Fries were cold and staleNuggets weren’t crunchyBurger was barely warmDidn’t feel like anything was made freshly whatsoever.Frosty was good though.
Its not bad, but its not awesome either. Its Wendys. Good for a penny-pincher like me. Ive never had a problem here.Edit: down to 3 stars rather than 4, because they dont open at 7 like they have posted. Ive tried to go by to get breakfast a couple of times and the doors are just locked.
I must say, this certainly is one of the Wendy’s of all time. I am by no means a hater of a good meal at a wendys, but this location has never failed to disappoint me and my family. We went earlier tonight and the food we got was wonderful for our hungry pregnant dog. She’s going to have puppies in a month, and I hope she raises them well enough that they never feel the urge to eat at this Wendy’s. The fries were so salty I would have rather drank a bucket of ocean water or a bag of expired saline from the ER. The frosties were also closer to melties and I’ve had better ice cream out of a washing machine. I apologize if this review sounds very negative because I never like to be such a Debby Downer, but do your future children a favor and don’t eat here unless Calvin Klein jeans sound appetizing to you. I would give them 0 stars if I could because this is hands down the worst Wendys, nay, the worst fast food restaurant I have ever dealt with. First off, I used to do DoorDash and they would make the dashers wait in line to get the orders they were assigned to pick up. By they way, their lines are incredibly slow and long because they thrive off of the good name of Wendys, but this loation is attrocious and has terrible management. So I refused to accept orders from this location. Also, they signed up to be on BYUs starving student card, then when I went to use the coupon with them, they said they no longer accepted it, even though the card was not expired. Whether that is a breach of their contract or not, I am not sure but it reflects on the management and how terrible they are. Also on that visit they messed up twice, because they gave me a double instead of a triple burger, and they took off the pickles on the wrong burger. Horrible, horrible location. If they were a regular local restaurant, there is no way they could have survived, but since they are a Wendys location, and their clients are primarily freshman coming in from out of state where Wendys is great, they have managed to survive. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. Or maybe just once a year, thats probably ok too.
I love Wendy’s! But my experience here was subpar at best. The workers seemed very stressed which I understood because I have worked in fast food before but they were also very slow at the tasks they were performing. When it got to be my turn in line, the cashier told me to hold on and I waited patiently (and awkwardlyfor 5 minutes while the cashier just stood there. There was no one in line behind me so I didn’t understand why they might have to wait to take my order but other than that, the manager and other staff I interacted with was friendly and courteous.
Every time I visit there is just something wrong, between long lines, messed up orders, and just rude staff Im kind of just done, Ill just go to McDonalds instead
I asked for large fries… they gave a nano micro mini fries…
I loved the Southwest Avocado Salad after hiking the Y. The Large Strawberry Frosting was extra thicc this time, which made my day.
Horrible experiences here. The last two times I came here they gave me the wrong burger. Tonight, they forgot to give me part of my order. I drove back to get it, and then they ended up giving me the wrong thing. Again.
Chronically, adversely understaffed. They are always short-handed and as a result orders take forever
I tried the new strawberry Frosty and it was really good. The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly.
What the heck is this? Come on Wendy’s, you can do better than this. This is how my large fry came. And they made me pay extra for this. My fiancée got a small fry, and hers legitimately had more than mine.
We have never had our order given to us right here. It’s sad because we really like Wendy’s - and the location is great. It would just be nice if we got everything we asked for when we ordered. And we miss the original Wendy’s French Fries!
Its our family tradition to get a frosty and fries when we come to watch the fireworks at the end of the Stadium of Fire :)
The people who work here are really awesome and so helpful! Very friendly and kind too! Plus the food is delicious!
Sadly, run by a bunch of retired, really retired lunch ladies. This is our new America. No creamer for your iced coffee (welcome to Provothe pin pad wasn’t working for the people in front of us. So my mom used cash $100 bill. The worker who took it made a snark comment of her being a ‘rich lady’. My mom used cash because she didn’t want to deal with the card reader that wasn’t working correctly. They didn’t have change for us. 🙄 This took way longer than we would have liked it too. We won’t be coming here again.
Good food! Diane working at the cashier was especially kind in helping us with our orders! She deserves a raise because she went above and beyond to help us save some money!
One cashier is super chill. I was experiencing technical difficulties with my order online to get a discount, so he straight up made it free. Obviously I cant guarantee this for everyone, but the people here are cool.
Worst wendys ever. You ask them for fresh fries and they are never ever fresh! The like dip old fries in oil and then super salt them! They always miss something in your meal and its so annoying. Also they pretend to take your “complaint”. They dont care
I have had orders messed up, incorrect opening times, and burned food. These mistakes are starting to add up. Plus i can sit in line for 15 min while waiting for a single person just to order.
I wanted to dine in last Saturday around 2pm. I pulled the door hard and it opened. I went to the register and the lady working there wouldnt take my order. She claimed the door was supposed to be locked, that they only had 4 employees, were short staffed and that I wouldnt be able to order inside. Bad service. I wont be coming here again. The drive thru line was moving slow. Horrible service.
The drive through line was not that long but the service was very slow. When they gave us our food, ordering the value menu combos, they completely forgot both of our sandwiches
Avoid this Wendys at all costs. They can basically only handle one car at a time and regularly mess up the order. The lines are always 20+ minutes and I dont think Ive ever gotten my order right in the last 10 times Ive been here. Today, their particular screw up was missing half the meal.
VISIT THIS WENDYS LOCATION AT OWN RISK. We just got through the drive through and got home and they just didnt give me my order in my bag. Something like this literally happens to us every single time we visit this specific Wendys location. The ppl working the drive thru window dont even speak to you when handing you youre food too. I guess Ill just not eat dinner tonight because someone at this Wednesdays decided not to do their job and actually give me my food in our bag. Like they didnt even get the order wrong they just left out my entire meal.
Their fries still are not hot & crispy but otherwise good Wendys food. The waitstaff is very congenial.
They always get my order wrong n I also used to work there the store manager omg! Lets just say he needs to have better people skills. At least when my order is right the food is pretty good.
CLOSED EARLY ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS - I’ve showed up multiple times at this Wendy’s where they’ve closed earlier than what their hours say they close. Especially late at night when there aren’t many options, closing early isn’t a good look. Now we gotta hit McDonalds.
Love Wendys. Only thing I miss is fresh brewed, black unsweetened tea. All soft drinks come from the coke machines, and the teas in there are flavored and sweetened. Plus, they are not fresh brewed either.
The employees here are very kind and respectful. I ordered late at night before they close. The line was super long and it took a while to get your order taken, but if you give them a little bit of patience it goes a long way. They work really really hard; especially with everyone being understaffed, it would be absolutely overwhelming to be in their shoes. The man who gave me my order took time to apologize to me for not “giving their best service” and for being so slow. Which he really didn’t need to apologize for that. It’s not like they can help it, but that apology was really touching to me. It shows they care. I very much appreciate their kindness and generosity.Just learn to be patient and they will give you their absolutely best.
half there menu doesnt light up and my fries where soggy as heck when I got them they pulled them out early. I know when I worked for fast food they had timers on those big fry vats for a reason when to pull out lol. Burger was cold didnt ask if I wanted condiments just handed me my food had to ask and he gave me an attitude. Not coming here anymore either not worth my time even though I like Wendys and I knew Dave Thomas for years out in Arizona because he was a good friend of my dads. Wish his daughter would fix these places up
I love this Wendys location. Very quick service, the manager is very friendly and will handle any issues and is quick to take care of you before you even have to ask. Since Covid, this place has been closed to dining a lot but not really their fault, I prefer sit and eat more than drive thru but this place is always busy and even the drive thru is quick.
This wendys is actually kind of small. I was surprised to see an average sized dining room but then a super small kitchen. This made me wonder what the service was like but the people who helped me were friendly and they got my order out to me quick.
We walked into Wendys blissfully unaware of the unpleasantness that would occur over the next 45 minutes. There was a sense of uneasiness as we marched toward the order counter. It seemed that all eyes were on us. That is when we realized the girl seated in the booth next to the order counter had vomited all over herself and the table. The other customers uncomfortably ate their food as some tried to help the poor girl. After a couple of minutes she stood and walked past us into the bathroom, leaving a trail of chucks that fell from her clothes as she walked. Determined to get our spicy chicken sandwiches, we held the line.At this point we had been waiting in line for some 5-10 minutes. The cashier mustve been new or overwhelmed as he struggled to add in each order. The "hiring" sign, not to mention the lack of speed in addressing the pool of masticated "Wendys" lead us to believe they were short staffed. We patiently waited and watched as the poor store manager finally cleaned the area of throw up, chunky fries, and pieces of lettuce.I never knew that you could make a Wendys order complicated, but the family in front of us managed to do so. Every substitution possible, they made. This compounded with the slow cashier to make for a very long wait. Finally we reached the front and ordered our food. The friendly cashier handed us our water cups and we went over to the Coke machine. We attempted to fill our cups with water, and a watery brownish liquid came forth from the fountain. We poured out our cups, thinking that it must have been residue from previous drinks, but after several attempts on both machines we decided to skip the brownish liquid. At this point we thought our food would be ready. There were bags sitting there, but nobody picked them up. Eventually the family who was in front of us came and cautiously asked, "are these for Margaret?" "I think so," replied the next person in line. She took the order. After they walked away, the cashier kept trying to find a "Ben," but he never showed up. We continued waiting, and after about 5 minutes the family came back and told the cashier that they mustve grabbed someone elses order as there was extra food. The cashier told them to keep the food and they went back to their seat. We waited for another 5 minutes, then curious, we returned to the counter to ask if we our order was ready.Whether our name never made it to the list, was deleted, or was somehow changed to "Ben," the world may never know. But it was not on the list now. So we were back to waiting for our order to be made. Another several minutes of waiting until our food was finally given to us. Without saying anything to one another, we all made the same decision. We promptly left, our shoes sticking to the floor with every step, not even thinking about eating inside the building. On the bright side our sandwiches were hot! ...so hot that we burned our mouths trying to take the first bite.
Wendy’s is one of the better fast food places, some of the time. I really only come here for spicy chicken Nuggets and chocolate frosties. In my opinion, not worth much else. But my wife loves the potatoes and chili. If you come later at night they take forever… and they run out of things pretty often.
I’m typically not a fan of fast food, but my experience here was so personal that I have to share. The employees were so good to me! I was with friends but didn’t order anything because money was pretty tight, and the lady working the shift came and brought me a lemonade and catered to my gluten free dairy free needs by bringing a salad. It was so thoughtful, and made for a happy experience.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES OR NEED TO ALTER YOUR ORDER IN THE LIGHTEST!I love Wendy’s, but the staff at this location were super unprofessional and sloppy. I am lactose intolerant and I love Wendy’s because they don’t have milk in their bread or chicken breading. But when I went to this location tonight, I specifically asked for no cheese on my burger. THREE TIMES! Three times I asked that they don’t put cheese on my order. The drive through girl was very impatient with me. She kept interrupting me and asking what else I wanted. When I eventually got to the window and paid, she was very short tempered. Then I checked my order. Not only did they not give me any of the sauces they had asked if I wanted and verified that I did, but my burger HAD CHEESE ON IT. I was not impressed and will not be returning to this location.
Literally made fun of us in the drive through and waited 45 minutes for our food. No apology... the cashier just turns her back and starts making fun of me... it was really rude. I havent been back and I probably wont come back.
I never rate restaurants bad. However, these guys suck at customer service. One time they messed up an order. I came back and the manager argued over what my order was originally, giving me less than I said.Second time I went, manager dropped food over drive thru window. I said Id take it anyway, plus the order redone. They refused and threw out the order. Also they take forever
I’ve always liked this Wendy’s, however, during the pandemic, these guys are superb in making me feel safe. For example, going through the drive through, they never take your card like other places do, they simply have you insert it into a card reader, so there’s no contact there. Then, while still using gloves they they get your food ready and place it on a tray for you to take by yourself. There’s no way really that the virus can be transmitted to you. I’m really happy that they are taking excellent safety precautions
Went to this location with my friends a few days ago, and we waited 35 minutes in line before we could order. There were only 5 people in front of us. This happens just about every time I go there. The staff doesn’t seem very competent or professional, this place probably has had the worst adjustment to COVID out of the local restaurants. I love Wendy’s but something needs to change at this location.
I am a huge Wendy’s fan and would pick them above other places. Unfortunately I’ve only had bad experiences at this Wendy’s located at 122 E 1240 N St, Provo. Whenever I go they usually have me pull forward past their window even though I’m the only one in line. Then they usually take 15-20mins to get me my food. A friend of mine told me they do this so they can make their orders seem faster then they are, which I feel is very dishonest. What pushed me to write this review was when they left out a hamburger from my order! I only ordered chicken nuggets, fries, a drink, and a hamburger. I was super disappointed and didn’t even get a refund or a new hamburger. I had to make a second order to finally get it. I wasted so much money just trying to get the one thing I really wanted from them. They might get better in the future but I think I’ll avoid going to this location in the future.
The service was unusually quick today in the drive thru, but when I got home I realized why! My drink was a weird pink lemonade and sprite mixture, when it was supposed to be peach lemonade and they gave me regular nuggets instead of spicy. It’s worth going to the Wendy’s on state street instead of dealing with the service here, which is either extremely slow or you get the incorrect food.
I was here 12-30-2019 just before 5pm. I interacted with three employees and all were very positive! They were so friendly and patient and happy and funny even. The place was clean. I ordered the spicy chicken nuggets and a small fry. It was good. I was just really impressed with my experience with the employees. I wanted to give them a thumbs up. Way to go guys!
I stood in the drive thru line for 15 minutes when there were only 2 people in front of me. The problem was that the person taking orders did disappear for long periods of time before taking the next one. However, once you ordered you got your food pretty quickly. Good food, like all Wendys, but super slow!
They take one order every 5 minutes, so there is a constant line for ordering but no wait once youve ordered. The cashier literally leaves after each order. Extremely frustrating to stand for 15 minutes at a fast food place.
Our experience today at Wendy’s was by far the best part of our day. We went for a late night meal and were greeted by the most genuinely kind cashier I have ever met. We were only in the restaurant for 5 minutes, but we left with a big smile, feeling truly touched for the incredible service from Sheila. She cared about our lives, gave us sincere compliments, opened up about her life situation, and was just a pleasure to interact with. It left us wanting to come back to Wendy’s often so we can continue to interact with such a compassionate worker. 5 stars to Sheila the cashier. Oh, and the food was great too. That $5 biggie bag is a steal!!
I do like this Wendys very much. You will see friendly people and staffs over there. I met some students who had part time jobs over there. Polite Decent People! It is on the busy corner of major streets. Convenient location!
This location gets pretty busy due to its location which is to be expected. However, itd be nice if they had more staff on hand to make the lines go quicker as many of their customers (myself includedare going before or in between classes and dont have much time to waste. Quality wise its the same as other Wendys which is surprisingly good for fast food.
Quick drive thru service. The let me use Samsung pay. I included a picture of the hamburger because I was not only improved with the quality of beef, lettuce and tomatoes, but the aesthetic was top notch as well.
