Good food. Quick amd friendly service. Bikers. Happy days.
Really nice food and very generous portions β¨
Good service of freshly prepared hot and cold food and drinks. Good varied menu, especially liked the roast dinner options. Very good prices. Recommended.
Should offer free refills on the tea and coffee at this price! Go to Costa or even McDonalds! Over Β£5 for a couple of mugs! Taking advantage of the bikers me thinks!
Worst breakfast I have had in many years, cold ,tasteless and served with a snarl Will not visit again βΉοΈ
Food was cold didnt taste nice very greaseyChips had seen better days
Really is a smart cafe and very deceiving to look at from the outside, not the cheapest but great food and surroundings the coffee is first class.
Nice coffee. Good bacon sarnie. Friendly service. Itβs all good!
What a cracking cafe. Ive not been here for years, but always made a stop when passing through. I was not disappointed this time. Fab breakfast.
Expensive Β£6-50 for a tea and a bacon roll though was freshly cooked.
Had to stop 2 miles away to be sick. Scotch egg wasnt cooked right. Had 2, one was delicious but the sausage meat on the other was raw. Husband was sick too.The quiche, however, was delicious. Also chips not great
Dreadful !! Ordered jkt potato- none left so ordered ham salad sandwich - tinned Ham π€’ cut VERY thick tasted vile ! Left it uneaten - Margarine???? on bread π€’ salad obviously not something they often serve as very basic lettuce and toms - Grandson would not even order anything said it smelled dirty - it did of old chip fat !A shame as have eaten here in the past on our way on holiday not sure whats changed - maybe biker breakfasts are their forte
Nothing much to offer.. only chips and cake! Other than that unable to cook anything!Service very poorCutlery dirtyWould not visit again
Nice quick service, friendly staff and good facilities. Plenty of parking outside or opposite- just wish I was reserved for bikes
Toilets need work and a good clean, no prices or menu on display.
Great stop for a quick cuppa and snack lunchtime on the way home from West Wales. Friendly staff and good homecooked cakes!
Poor experience, thought the cafe has gone downhill. Pity because I always tell friends and colleagues how good it is, not any more after our last visit. Staff shouting and screaming which is completely innapropriate. Overall very disapointing
Popped in while passing through for breakfast. Great portions and lovely breakfast. Slightly expensive for a breakfast, cutlery was not clean & eggs overdone.
Top place called in onway to Pembroke and had snack and coffee. They serve top Sunday lunch too...
Ideal place to take a break when travelling down and on return from Tenby, great cup of tea..
Amazing breakfast but glad I only got the small one.
Quantity over quality. Bacon, sausages and mushroom were very bland, and Bacon tough. Far too much on plate would of preferred smaller portions with quality sourced food.
Very slow service... I mean VERY slow. Food was ok but expensive for what you got. Will not be going back.
Nice cafe style food, not expensive. Help yourself to cutlery from a tray, was a bit grubby. These could easily be given out when ordering. Sanitiser next to checkout would be a nice touch too.Overall nice. just a couple of niggles.
Quick stop on our way through the Town ,order fish and chips which were excellent.Staff excellent with friendly banter .Nice clean cafe with plenty of space .
Had the dragon breakfast this morning. Really good breakfast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommended
Disappointed with food. Sausages and bread roll were of poor quality and prices were quite high.
Popped in on a Sunday afternoon at this well known bikers cafe. I had a Sunday roast and the wife had cheese n potato pie. Mashed potato was lumpy and the rest was disappointing if I am honest. I normally take snaps of my food to show I didnt with this and wish I had as I dont like giving negative reviews - but at Β£20 for both meals it didnt look or taste great.
Brilliant biker friendly cafe with great food. I had the breakfast burger and it was said "I bet you dont know whether to eat it or climb it" she was right, it was huge! Very good and I scoffed the lot πI will be back one day.
Fab, well established, cafe in the heart of Llandovery Town (takeaway or dine inside/sat out the front of the cafe or in the spacious, enclosed patio area at the side of the premises). A popular stop off point for bikers. Plentiful menu choices, with a large choice of fresh cakes & trifle. I chose a simple savoury option of cheese on toast washed down with cups of tea!
As ever, great food from the West End Cafe. They can get very busy at times but the portions are always generous and well worth any wait. A favourite with bikers, cyclists and walkers. Plenty of room inside, and a lovely courtyard for Al fresco dining. Staff always helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit if youre in the area.
Large portions and the dessert section looked amazing. I had a Dragon Breakfast - the eggs were over cooked, the fried potato was a square of mashed potato that was warm on the outside and cold in the middle and the sausages were barely cooked. Great mushrooms though and they had proper butter on proper toast. Everything bar the potato was edible but nothing to write home about (if you know what I mean?). The premises were very clean but the seats were rather hard. I may go again as my friends live nearby, but Ill probably encourage them to try a different one. They love it though so maybe it was just the cooks off day...
No skimmed or semi skimmed milk options so could not have a coffee due to needing a low fat diet. Had to have fruit tea which of course was scolding hot and no jug of water on the side so took forever to drink. Server however was lovely.
β οΈβ οΈβ£οΈβ οΈβ οΈ Horrible. Chips werent cooked and were full of oil, sausage was somehow like grit inside its skin. Dangerous, scampi was pink and the juices were cloudy. This shop will eventually KILL someone. I will be looking into reporting this establishment. I will expect food poisoning soon.
Really amazing food, especially the cakes. Scotch eggs are the best weve ever tasted. Could be going home that way so we can get some more. Highly recommended.
Not dog friendly- had to sit outside in the cold. Mediocre, slowly served and overpriced, basic cafe fare. Staff were indifferent, almost surly, certainly not welcoming. Some spoke no English making ordering difficult. Avoid unless youre a motor cycle enthusiast, even then youre being ripped off..
Overall a pleasant experience. Had two dragon breakfasts, a filter coffee, and a hot chocolate. The breakfasts were fine, if a little over priced for what you get (toast isnt included). The man who served us seemed perplexed at the idea of a dairy free hot chocolate.
Really great early morning breakfast. Such a change from a couple of years ago when it was bland and chilly. Its worth a detour and be prepared for a Big Boys Breakfast.
Brilliant little place called in there on a wet rainy Sunday morning with being out on off-road bikes had excellent cup of latte and a big chunk of carrot cake outdoor seating at the front of the cafe and at the rear staff very friendly it was a very much needed stop and thoroughly enjoyed it βββββππ
Highway robbery Β£6.20 for a bacon and sausage sandwich. It worked out at a pound per slice of bacon and a pound per sausageand a pound for each slice of bread (which was a bit staleand 20p for suace. It was the best sandwich either. I will say it was a nice and clean cafe though.
Lovely find after the bleak Black Mountain pass. Very friendly staff and customers. Top notch food. We had the lamb carvery which started just as we came in. Great quality local food tastes as good as it looks.Highly recommended.
Diabolical Dragon Breakfast. First of all, Β£8 is an insane price to pay for what they unload on you. The quality of the ingredients was dreadful. The sausages were cheap and nasty. The bacon was far too salty, more akin to gammon. The fried potato slice was dry and tasteless. The grilled tomato was devoid of flavour and joyless. You only got one egg. The mushrooms were slimey and probably canned. The beans were the best thing on the plate. If you like your breakfast served by a disgruntled little lady and youre not bothered about quality or flavour then this is definitely the place for you.
Top class!Amazing fish and chips and the curry sauce is to die for - so tasty and massive portions! Lovely staff, nice setting - definitely recommend. It was immense! Thank you π
We hadnt been here for a couple of years, and were pleased to see it was much improved. It used to be a real greasy spoon cafe, and although there were still some less healthy options they also had nice looking roast meals, some homemade cakes and more. They have also developed their outside patio with a covered area which provided shelter.Inside was really warm, no doubt from the cooking in the kitchen however the outside area meant we could sit outside despite the rain.It is near a pay n display car park, however also has free street parking at the front (limited to one or two hours - cant remember exactly how long but plenty long enough to stop for a meal or snack).
Had a lovely break here from our travels. Great food, reasonably priced, staff were friendly and helpful. Parking outside is free for 30 minutes. The cafe was clean and tidy and staff cleaned tables, once customers had left. Would definitely go there again
It opens 7 days a week with all day breakfast, very convenient for late customers. Food OK with many choices.
Great location. After a fantastic ride on the flowing roads leading up to Llandovery, this is a great place to catch up with other bikers. They have a great menu and plenty of seating inside. Certainly recommend visiting if you are in these parts.
Huge cafe and very popular. We went there on Sunday lunchtime and it was packed. Most people were there for Sunday lunch which was obviously somewhere where everyone in the area came to eat. The Sunday lunches looked and smelt beautiful and I would definitely have one there another time. We wanted a cooked breakfast and it was lovely. Im really fussy about cooked breakfast and really, really enjoyed it. Even with how busy they were they kept up the pace. There are beautiful murals painted on the walls by a Cardiff artist telling stories of local history and fables. As it was so busy I didnt want to bother people by taking photos. There is also a sculpture and Castle within walking distance that I have included photos of. Highly recommend this place ππ
Great little cafe everyone in there seemed happy ! Lots of motorcyclists had a brew and banoffee pie ! Would love to go again.! Shame we didnβt have time for lunch there
Fantastic breakfast at the West End Cafe this morning en route to the Smallholders Show in Builth Wells. Combining three of our favourite things, food, motorbikes and the countryside. As ever food was fab, service excellent and premises clean. Love having a look at the motorbikes parked outside.Sentimental thoughts of our eldest son on his maiden voyage on his TS50, coming all the way to West End Cafe in the pouring rain for breakfast, then back home to Pembrokeshire.
