Whataburger in Jasper County

Only went through the drive through today. Totally empty, would have been able to sit at any table had I wanted to.

Always good burgers and breakfast...

Good burger and onion rings. Nicely fresh cooked, not under a heat lamp for hours on end.

Usually you can have fast food or good food at this Whataburger you can’t have either.

This is a picture of clean. I drive from Deridder for Whataburger in Jasper....because...ITS A VERY WELL KEPT PLACE. It means the team or manager of this place is making sure that:1. Its scrubbed or mopped on a a regular basis.2. I assume the attention to detail extends into the kitchen.I know they serve a lot of people. I also know its tough to keep clean but my first impression is attention to detail in dining area and around building. Friendly people! Great burgers...

First of all, I would like to say that it took over 5 minutes for anyone to greet or acknowledge that I was in the drive-thru. There were no cars in front of me or behind me. The staff was rude. Once I finally received my order, they had thrown my fries in the bag upside down, so the entire container of fries was dumped in the bag on top of the burger which caused grease to pour in the bag and on the wrapper of the burger. The way the guy handed me my card, when I went to grab it, the receipt fell so I have no receipt of purchase or names of employees. Highly disappointed.

Placed a curbside order and 15 minutes after the eta I went inside to check if it was ready and there were 2 people standing behind the counter and the food had been readyThe lady behind the counter was not a friendly person

Dirty, poor mgt, no leadership. Not a good look for Whataburger. Road travel is obviously hit or miss. This was a miss.

Never had a bad experience here. What burger as a whole has a great reputation for quality and consistently good food.

Biscuits and sausage gravy. Definitely doesnt taste like homemade, but really good! I love what a burger food. Huge portions and delicious!

Absolutely garbage. I went at the slowest time and my burger tasted like it had been cooked the day before. I ordered the number 2 with cheese and sunbed a shake for the drink and it was $20.00 and they STILL got my order wrong. Nobody takes pride in their work anymore.

People say they take long for a burger been made, in this place will wait for the burger because when I get to stop, its the best whataburger ever for know. Will stop every time.

Not as fast as they should be, but food is always good.

Poorly trained staff, full bathroom trash, dining room windows and walls dont look like theyve been cleaned. Messed up 3 out of 4 orders.

No management going on here. 25 minutes for one grilled chicken sandwich. At least 6 teenagers standing around. No one seemed to have an assigned station, rather, visiting and one playing on phone (with her sanitary glovesthen handling food. All were personnel were nice. But simply slow, non-productive Anyone at cooperate reading this and the many other reviews just like mine?

Hate to say it for our $20.67 we got almost cold greesy fries,& barely warm burgers.Only thing was good was the shakes.Big disappointment! Thing was we sat in line 10 mins AFTER ordering waiting on the luke warm food! So did a vehicle a head of us set and wait while 1 gal worked and 3 others we could see and hear screwed around,as a line formed of backed up cars around building. Poor management on shift and duty apparently day after Easter. We will avoid THIS Whataburger on our monthly travels from La to TX and back from now on.

Lobby closed as soon as we pulled up at 10:45 went to drive through shake machine conveniently closed. 15 people working but no one doing a thing . Chain restaurants are getting worse and worse.

Pulled into this place around 1am pulling a trailer. They told me to pull around and come to the side door to order. Not only did they take my order. My food was hot and just the way I ordered it. The manager was nice as can be. Thanks

45 minutes into it and still waiting inside. If ya go during lunch they focus on drive thru. Too many of the crew standing around. No teamwork to expedite a rush. 1 basket going in fryer. Not sure if a Manager is even handling the team. No evidence anyway.

Good food. Only problem is that more often than not if you go in late at night wanting a shake or malt theyll tell you the shake machine is down simply because they dont wanna have to clean it. Its frustrating***UPDATE>>3/16/22***LATELY IT SEEMS THAT THEYVE BEEN DOING BETTER WITH THE SHAKE MACHINE.... THANKFULLY.

Jasper Whataburger definitely shouldnt be the poster child for all Whataburgers!Slowest fast food place ever. We just waited 40min for two burgers and fries. The food was ok and the workers were fine but extremely slow and seems like they dont have another speed. Dont go there if you need to be anywhere in a timely fashion.

Every time I go to a restaurant in this town service is horrible , rude young workers no southern hospitality. I dont know where the world took a wrong turn at but service is not what it use to be , it seems noone values the job anymore. If you hate your job please quit dont take it out on the customer who is trying to get a bite to eat and most important the people helping make your pay check😤

Worst Whataburger ever. Whenever we come home from from Louisiana (We’re in the Army this is the first Whataburger we hit and we always try to give it a chance but they never fail to disappoint. Today I was ordering and the lady on the intercom kept interrupting me while I was trying to tell her What I wanted. Last time we came a young lady left the window and went outside to say hi to a friend and completely neglected the drive thru and there was a long line!!! Food is always wrong, cold, and customer service is always terrible. Driving back home around midnight & we got hungry. Pulled into Whataburger in Jasper, TX cos it’s 24hrs! Lifesaver! 😅 We’re sort of new in this area.We had to wait almost 45 mins total for our food including placing the order. But was worth it.Ordered a bfast sandwich & a chicken sandwich (#10- our food was piping hot! Taste was good.Great place. Great service!

The workers were very nice, the food was great, and the restaurant was well cleaned and disinfected.They were out of several things (like large cups and Dr Pepper).My biggest complaint is that there was no changing table in either bathroom.

I know that when you go to most Whataburgers you gonna wait for a little bit, but 15 minutes after we ordered we got our food. She only brought two napkins for four people and the fries were cold, and my mil chicken "nuggets" were cold. My husband went up to the counter to ask for more napkins she handed him one and then looked at him funny when he asked for a few more. When he told her the fries were cold one of the workers went to the heat lamps and felt to see if they were warm, shrugged her shoulders and walked off. The whole time the manager is standing where she can here all of this but does nothing. This was my mil first visit to a whataburger and she said she will never go to another one.

Burger wasnt bad, couple of mushrooms on my mushroom and swiss were overcooked to the point that I couldnt chew them...good flavor though. Just shy of $30 for 1 burger, 1 shake, and 2 chicken strip sandwiches, little pricey in my opinion....

Im not a real fan of Whataburger. I havent really found the appeal most people find. This one wasnt as slow as most. I tried the Queso Burger. It was decent but wasnt worth almost $8 for just a burger. Its not like its a gourmet burger. Its not like they are grilling them over a smoky fire. Its fast food. I rarely find myself at a Whataburger and I rarely find anything I really like but this is the closest I came.

I work nights and Whataburger is my only option to eat out. Chicken bites look old like they refried them, fries and toast are cold. This is not what I paid $10 for. Pitiful and ridiculous.

The service was terrible, there was no DP, no tea, no soap in ladies rr, and the French fries werent cooked completely. The supervisor yelled at one of the workers 3x and he finally quit. It took 30 minutes to get our food.

Meal was great! Had the patty melt without a bun and Hubby had a hamburger. Someone even came by our table to ensure the patty melt was like we ordered. Said they do not get orders like that and he wanted to ensure they got it right (they did). Everything tasted fresh and good, staff was friendly and store was clean.

Short staffed the day I went in. 1 cook (managerduring lunch rush. Took 45 minutes to get my food. Several people asked for their money back. Staff was very nice, respectful & helpful. I think it was just a bad day for the crew.

Ok, stopped in on Sunday afternoon around 2-2:30. Drive through busy, 2 or 3 tables waiting on food. Ordered #1 all the way, #7 with no tomato, and small chicken strips. Lots of confused and clueless employees. Didn’t get paper receipt, my drink cup was dirty, had to ask 3 times for another. After about 20 minutes waiting for food, I went to the front and talked to a young guy who ordered ahead of us, and he finally got his burger. I saw our food on the tray, sitting there for at least 5 minutes next to continually increasing and moving bagged orders. Suddenly they realized they were low on trays, so the girl who took our order went out, gathered the dirty, used trays, and promptly put them to the side of my tray in order to use them. Someone told her to take them to the back, apparently for cleaning, and she brought out some new ones, without wiping the area where she had put them. 2 different people looked at my ticket on the tray, and finally put 2 packs of fries next to the burgers. Fries were way overcooked, burgers ok but mine had way too many onions. 45 minutes start to finish. If you need to eat in Jasper, Texas, especially if you are in a bit of a hurry, steer clear of Whataburger. I give it 1 star because we fixed our own drinks, and they were correct!

I stopped eating here. If youre lucky and get your food in a timely manner it can be hot and tasty. Most of the time you sit in the drive through for 45 minutes and get cold food and a watered down drink. Service is slow. Everyone moves slow. Hire some people that have work ethics, I thought this was Texas.

Ok where do I start with this mess of a Whataburger. First let me say I really like Whataburgers and this is one of the few I have been disappointed in. We ordered two burgers and a side of hashbrowns. Time to table was 34 minutes. Some of the food was so overcooked it was not edible. I will say the employees were nice but they all looked clueless and moved at a snails pace. I would advise everyone to find a different place to pick up a burger.

If you are on a road trip, dont bother stopping here. We dined in this evening, 4 other customers in store, 4 cars in drive thru when we ordered and we waited nearly 40min for our cold food. In hindsight, we should have asked for a refund and eaten elsewhere, but wed been driving for 8hrs and really just wanted a quick dinner before we got on the road again.

The sweet and spicy hamburger, oh man, its that good. The fish sandwich not so much, after asking for extra tartar sauce it was dry and a little greasy. But the hamburger was fantastic.

Honestly the food was decent but, placed on online order and they had it 10 minutes after to have it all wrong. Called manager and was very rude, went back and another person just kept Passing it. Asked for my money back and they remade it took another 15 minutes. Im a tea drinker and you can tell tea had been out for a while not fresh. Overall bad experience. They had like 10 people in that kitchen and couldnt take out orders on time. There was multiple people waiting on orders too and they had theirs wrong too.

This place has an absolutely horrible wait inside and in the drive-thru. Almost an hour wait in the drive thru. Typical Jasper workforce. The owner of this Whataburger needs to make some changes to the way this place does business and operates.

Food was good. But of a wait but things are not normal right now so we let that slide. Love Whataburger. Even more so if they had breakfast all day😙Went again yesterday. Had to wait for the cashier to finish stocking before she could get my order. It took 15 minutes to get my order and the fries were lukewarm and the nuggets were a shade better. I could understand if they were busy but it wasnt. 😔

My daughter MARLEE had her 15th birthday party at Whataburger! It was the first time someone had it there! The service was Superior! Management was amazing! I heard corporate wanted pictures! Marlee tagged Whataburger on Instagram 😀

Whataburger is always a great quick place to go. It blows away the other places in the area as far as quick service dining is concerned. They have a wide variety of things for breakfast and the all day menu. I love the, What a Chicken, or any of the burgers. The fries are always hot and crispy. Other items on the all day menu include chicken strips,Chicken Tacos, and Salads. For breakfast I highly recommend the Taquitos, Biscuits and Gravy, or the Pancakes.
