My son and I are hard on jeans. Whisler’s has has repaired over a dozen of them through the years. The repairs are always well done and extremely strong. The reinforcement they add helps our jeans last much longer.
Ive used Whistlers throughout the years for alterations and have always been satisfied with their work.
Clothes not ready for specified pickup.......shirt looks worse than when ki dropped it off ,brown spots and horrible wrinkles. WILL NOT USE THEM EVER AGAIN!
Took several loads of laundry to use their wash and fold service. Paid $167 for the service. Upon picking up my laundry, I noticed red stains over almost everything. We don’t even own any red clothing, none of our clothes were brand new, and we didn’t have anything red that would have spread across our laundry. They destroyed our clothes.Update: They offered to dry clean the items they damaged during washing. It took another week to get most of that back, but they said they needed to do more work on some of the items, which they kept for a total of a MONTH. When they finally called to tell my husband our clothes were ready, he asked if they would reimburse him for the giant waste of time they caused. (They’d had our clothes for a month and the whole problem resulted from them screwing up.The owner told him, “I can offer you $20 off. Take it or leave it.” This is a despicable way to treat customers.
Did a great job and was super friendly this go around. I will return for sure.

They do a spectacular job hemming dresses and pants. They have quality dry cleaning. Staff is super helpful.

VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!Dropped two rugs off to be cleaned . Was told they would call when completed , over a week went by still have not received a call. Decided to stop by . Picked up rugs and paid for service and put both rugs in trunk of new car . Came out to get them out of trunk , the whole trunk of new car smells like urine . The smell was unbearable. Called back they had me bring them back now its been over a week again with no phone call so decided to call to check status the lady is more then rude saying she works in spring Grove. She said she would call owner to find out Whats going on . She called back said they are done. Just picked up rugs today and they stink its like they took our money and just gave the carpets back and havent cleaned them. I would not use this business no more .
My 17 year old daughter has had costumes altered here for years, in fact I just had a bathing suit altered this past summer…unfortunately the woman that tended to my daughter was rude and mean to her and did a terrible job so she had to have her friend properly alter it for her homecoming tomorrow. What a shame to have dealt with a company for so many years to have it end this way! I can’t imagine treating your future clients so terrible since they would be using your business for so much moving forward; your staff should think about that when dealing with the younger generation. Nevertheless none of my family will return, we will take our business to someone that values it.
Called to get an estimate on a weighted blanket and lady that answered the phone was so rude. Would never give them my business.
Been using this Zips for several years. I have been impressed with the quality of their cleaning or washing, or ironng/pressing and reasonable prices *mych better than most drycleaners. Friendly staff, to boot.
Whislers does cleaning well. Im not happy with the extra fees to use credit or debit cards.
Went there to have a sport coat pressed/cleaned at 10 mins before closing time on a Thursday. It was done the next day by 2. Great service and friendly staff!

Horrible experience. Totally ruined a Christmas quilt saying the embroidery was raised. Claimed it was the manufacturer. So many years in business, yet they didnt know it wasnt dry cleanable as they claim? Lots of excuses. Reading other reviews, seems they have ruined other items as well.
I came in on short notice with a special request. They not only met but exceeded my needs. I will make them my go to cleaners when in Hanover. Thank you all very much!
It took 3 weeks to get zipper fixed
I dropped my wedding dress off there to be cleaned and it took two weeks longer than it should have. The first time I went to pick it up they couldn’t find my dress. After looking for awhile they said they were still cleaning it. I brought it back home and there’s still dirt on every layer of my dress. My lace is still brown. On some layers there’s dark chunks of dirt that look like they’ve never even been touched.
Always do a good job with my shirts. Really like that they open at 700 AM so I can drop by before work
We have been using Whislers for years. Recently three of my husbands shirts were returned torn, all In the same place. They do not want to accept any responsibility. The shirts are less than 6 months old.

They made a lifetime customer out of me! Superb service went above and beyond to help me out when I was in a pinch! Came in right before a holiday weekend and needed the clothes back by a certain day, they expedited the service for no additional charge. Then the day I was supposed to pick up the clothes I called 2 MINUTES before they closed because I wasnt going to make it in time but NEEDED it for the next day. The very nice woman (I did not catch her namestayed after a few minutes to take my payment info via phone, then went out of her way to find a secure spot to leave them for me to come pick up when I could later that night. LIFESAVER!!!

I have been using Whistlers for years and always have had an amazing experience. Turn around is usually 1 to 2 days and pricing is pretty standard. They do a great job on my dress shirts with medium starch and have pressed many suits.As a bonus they occasionally have items for sale abandoned by their owners. They call me when I forget stuff so I am not sure why other folks leave stuff behind...
They gave me the wrong shirt, which I gladly returned, hoping to trade for my shirt. The lady there knew exactly whose shirt it was and left him a message. I gave her my phone number after said she would call me with what she found out. I never heard from her and I never saw my shirt. Maybe they sold it for a quick buck. I will not return.
