Wildflower Pottery and Ceramics in Utah County

My husband and I paid for a pottery class, three pieces of pottery, and a follow-up painting session. We were told the pieces we made would be ready in two weeks. After calling repeatedly, we finally get a hold of someone (OVER SIX weeks laterand are told two of our pieces were ruined by Wildflower workers. (Interesting that they waited until we could no longer contest the claim with our credit card company to finally tell us they had ruined our pieces.The person we talked to was also unable to tell us what piece had not been damaged.We asked for a refund, as we had paid for the class, three pieces, and a follow-up painting session. We were told that we would only be offered a $10 refund. This is less than we paid for the two damaged pieces- we were charged $15/piece for the first two pieces and $5 for the third piece- meaning the two pieces that were destroyed cost us $20. We were told that Wildflower wasnt willing to do this. The man we talked to was unapologetic and unprofessional. We are extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

I had a very disappointing experience with Wildflower Pottery and Ceramics. I spent a lot of time painting a piece which they broke in the kiln. They gave me a replacement item to take home and paint. But there were no instructions given whatsoever and I used the wrong paint apparently. But they didnt call me to tell me this, I had to call them after weeks of not hearing from them. They said the paint was wrong and the item would be ruined in the kiln. Instead of offering a refund they suggested I come pick up and keep the non-glazed item. The sitting fee and the item cost were too high for me to walk away with a half-finished product. They did agree to a refund but I feel like I spent a lot of time and effort on two separate occasions, on two seperate pieces with nothing to show for it.

Visiting Wildflower Pottery and Ceramics for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! An quiet, welcoming atmosphere with great service! We painted a couple of mugs— our artistic skills were lacking but we definitely recommend the little workshop!

Their clay isnt as high quality as kreative kiln and the instruction is less clear/they arent as willing to help or guide you, but still a good experience. They also forgot to call us to let us know our pots were dry, so after 6 weeks we finally called them to confirm. Good but I probably wouldnt go again.

I do not recommend. The ceramics selection was mostly Christmas and very slim pickings. The paint had only a small selection of colors to choose. The prices were higher than said on their website which says $12-15 per piece including studio fee. Paid much higher than that and we painted small pieces. We painted our pottery and was told it would be ready for pickup in 5 days. After 8 days, I went to pick up the pieces and was told they were not ready yet and they were next in line. After another week I went to pick them up and was told the same. They were next to be glazed and fired. Not cool. We have been waiting for 2 weeks! The customer service stinks. You pay for your pieces and will not receive them. Not going back. Will they make it right?

Me and my partner did the hour lesson with Micheal. We had a great time! Neither of us had ever done pottery before and we both made some stuff really liked during the hour. Micheal was super helpful in demonstrating and teaching us the basics. He helped us make what we wanted and gave us some great tips. Overall we had a great experience and would love to do it again!

Good selection of fun pieces to paint at reasonable prices. We had a great time and would definitely go paint there again.

Went there with a group of four on a Saturday evening. We had made reservations to paint, but the studio only had a few people so it was perfect anyways. The staff was attentive and told us how to get started. Great night!

I would fo 4.5 if I could. Love the place. The environment. Wish they had more homeware/every day items and less niknak/holiday items. Pricing seemed a bit more than is necessary. Their paint station/paint accessories needs to be upgraded with options and tiles of all the colors should be available (they werent). Loved that they had vinyl options, that was unique and cool.

We tried this place out for the first time last night. 6 of us for date night, what a fun environment. Maikeli was a super cool & patient instructor. We are a bunch of rookies but they were great to work with. Going to take our teenagers back to try it next time! Definitely recommend this place to others!

Sad disappointment. :( We were REALLY excited to try Wildflower for the first time. Myself, husband and 4 teenage daughters. I will admit, it is clean and organized and prices are reasonable. However, selection is minimal of ceramics, paint colors and brushes. Staff is minimal (1 teenage boyon a Saturday evening was running around like crazy and didnt know where anything was. At checkout, they forgot to discount our coupon off of total and did not know how to refund my credit card. I was given and gift card for that amount instead. We were told approx 2 weeks for turn around time and we would be called when our stuff was ready. At the 2 week mark, I called and was told it wasnt finished yet. He didnt know when I could expect it either. "Just call back another day" was the response. At 3 weeks, I called again. Couldnt find our order and would call back. 2 hours later they called saying it was finished and ready to pick up. We went straight there, was handed a package with everything wrapped up neatly and walked out the door. Upon inspection at home several of our pieces had somehow come in contact with unwanted paint (unsure if they were touching in the kiln or just got splashed on with paintcausing blue and green splotches on our pieces. I wouldnt recommend Wildflower to a friend.

I took a class at ceramic supply USA once and really liked it so I thought I would like this one. I didn’t enjoy the “date night event” so much, for the pottery it was explained way too fast and during the time of making it instead of helping, the teacher just wanted to gossip with two other girls about her life the whole time.She was very chatty but not about making the bowl, she didn’t really have a teacher personality that gave much direction.If you know nothing about pottery I would not recommend this.for teaching the beginners, being a little more hands on and point out what they are doing wrong because I had no clue until I just had clay everywhere but my plate, direction would be nice, also a quick explain in the beginning is fine but a step by step with you maybe doing it at the same time instead of a quick 8 steps and your on your own. But that’s just my opinion on things that could be improved.

Had such a wonderful time with our grandkids last weekend! The owners were a delight! They catered to our needs and instantly recognized that our special needs grandson needed a little bit of extra care! What a blessing that was for this grandma! Thank you wildflower for making our afternoon memorable! We will definitely be back!

What a fun place for a girls night out! The studio has so many options for projects of all abilities and is so hip and fun. You can throw your own creation on the wheel or paint something that is already made. Our group of nine ladies all had such a great time! The studio is large enough to accommodate a fairly large group along with ours. We were greeted with the kindest staff who gave guidance and answered all our questions. They took care of everything, the table was set with everything we needed, and they cleaned up for us when we were done. I cant wait to go again on a date night with my husband or take my kids for a family night. Thanks Wildflower Pottery!

Had a great night at wildflower with a large group (8for our girls night out. They had preorderd some projects for us and had the studio all set up for our fun. Love the owners they were fun and energetic while being very helpful. We loved the variety of activities avail. And look forward to doing this more often. Cant wait.

Had an amazing “Ladies Night” with my girlfriends last night! The new owner was so pleasant and accommodated to all our needs! We have been going to Wildflower for years and now so excited for the changes!! The added pottery wheels, we can’t wait to get our girls learning a new art this Spring!! There was a bit of construction going on with new changes but even the the gentleman doing the job were so kind, making sure they weren’t bothering us! Thanks Wildflower for such a fun night and giving us a place to play! We will definitely be back!!

I love what has been done with this place. Since this place changed hands it looks amazing. Instead of feeling like youre doing arts and crafts at grandmas house, it is now very modern and the atmosphere invites creativity it so many different ways. Our kids loved the little workers (I think they were an employees kidsand I was impressed at how inviting this studio is to families. Taking your kids into a place like this is typically tough but this place didnt mind my rowdy group. I enjoy this place more than I ever have before. Keep up the good work. Ill be back very soon.

I used to love this place! And I absolutely love supporting small businesses!I understand change, new management, and even remodeling too. However, AFTER we began painting today, they started doing demolition. Big, loud, take down a wall - demolition. Look, I get wanting to make money during your remodel, but I dont want to be here when you do. I dont want to be cold because all the doors are open. I dont want to struggle to get paint because of the demolition. And I definitely dont want your employees toddler interrupting our painting time. Pause business, put a big sign that says you are remodeling, do all of the work, and then open your doors when you are ready to take care of the patrons in a way that doesnt make them second guess all the money theyre going to spend.

My wife and I enjoy date nights here! Fun for all ages, and beginners are welcome! The owner is kind and extremely accommodating. We give it our highest recommendation.

I love going here. It’s so relaxing and fun! The prices are absolutely reasonable. Robin, the owner, is just an incredible woman. She remembers me every time I go in. She gives pointers and helps you through the whole process. She’s absolutely wonderful and part of the experience! It’s worth it!!! Go!

They were super kind and accommodating. We decided to show up on a whim and noticed they were closing sooner than wed be able to finish. When we offered to come back the next day she insisted we stay and do whatever project we wanted. She made sure we knew what to do to make sure the final product came out nicely and checked in on us to make sure we had all the things necessary (tape for clean lines, clean brushes, etc.). While we were there another customer came in to pick up a finished piece and she even took a minute to display it to everyone in the store and dote on the customers job well done.

We love this place so much!!! My daughter had her birthday here and now we are addicted! They have the best customer service and everything turns out adorable no matter your skill level.

Today was my first visit and all I can say is that I will be returning! Such helpful and lovely staff! Wasnt rushed and coukd take my time painting. Music was very relaxed and overall was a fantastic experience!

Had a great experience with our 16-17 year old girls church group. Robin is super nice and offers great suggestions. She also gave me some certificates to use for a PTA fundraiser. What a great business. You should definitely check it out.

Fun, professional, talented, helpful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic--are just some of the words that come to mind when I think of Robin, the owner, and Julie and Alicia who work by her side. When my two grandchildren and I entered Wildflowers, we were warmly welcomed by Robin and made to feel like family. She patiently explained the creative process to us and, along with Julie and Alicia, offered helpful tips along the way. When one grandchild needed a second visit the next day to complete his painting, the staff gave us protective bubble wrap and a box to keep the artwork safe until we could return. We came in to make memories and we walked out making new friends. I would give Robin 10 stars if I could. Incredible experience! Cant wait to come back to make Mothers Day gifts!

I took my little girl there for her 5 th Birthday. She loves going there and painting. They have lots of ceramics to choose from as well as a large paint selection. Everyone was really friendly and good with my little girl.

Robyn is the best ever, she has the cutest ceramics to paint and is the sweetest. Everyone is always willing to help you with any thing you need. My kids love coming here to paint. We held my daughters birthday party here and had a blast. The studio was very accommodating. The painting was a blast and we could do food and presents too. It was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back!

Love it here!! Ive come with my younger kids as well as bringing youth groups more than once. Reasonably priced and a very zen activity. Im not even very crafty and I love to come!

I never thought Id enjoy painting ceramics until I actually tried it.. now its one of my favorite things to do! Robin is so kind and thoughtful, and she has a great selection of ceramics to choose from. I recommend going here to anyone who wants to have fun, relax, or create something meaningful. Hand painted ceramics make the perfect gift!

My kids and I had SO much fun at this place! Even my non-artsy kids absolutely loved painting something that was all their own. The owner Robyn was super kind and helpful. For all of us it was about the same price as going to a movie and it was way more fun and memorable! We will definitely come back!

Seriously so much fun. I’ve been to a few different ceramic painting shops, and Wildflower has easily been my favorite. They have so many adorable things to paint that I want to keep going back for more! The atmosphere is great as well being more intimate than other places I’ve been. I have been in twice now, and both times staff has been super kind and accommodating. I can’t wait to bring my kids! Definitely recommend.

I have visited Wildflower Studios quite a few times. I love the atmosphere there and the wide variety of ceramics and materials. I think they have a few different types of paint, many tools, and the regular things that other ceramic stores have. Wildflower hosts awesome hot chocolate, painting and girls nights. They have done holiday-specific parties... I just love it there. Cant wait to go again.

Awesome Party! Such a fun and easy party for Mom or Dad to plan. The kids had so much fun. The staff was incredibly nice and so helpful and patient. They were very accommodating! Loved our experience and party!

Ive been here twice now and had a great time both times. My 2, 4 and 6 year old daughter had a blast painting piggy banks. And a couple friends and I had a fun girls night too. They are super helpful with ideas and techniques too!

My family really enjoys coming here. It’s a nice environment and they are always so helpful. My sons love painting the dragons and my daughter loves painting more things to add to her fairy garden. Great family activity!

A great place to express creativity and imagination. I love coming here mainly to relieve stress! It’s like those adult coloring books but only in 3-D! They have lots of different pieces including collections. The owner is super friendly and helpful! They are good about getting your pieces back to you within a decent amount of time too.

It was awesome! I never really liked art for a long time to be truth full. Ever since I was a kid I had love to draw and paint, but some where along the way I lost touch and just plain hated art. There has have been several ttys to get back in to in but I never enjoyed it. So a friend dragged me out and to wildflower. I never thought that I would enjoy anything like this again but there is a joy that come from being there and I cant stop thinking about doing more there I think Im doing the chest set next

We had a great experience!! Great customer service and very nice options for the ceramics. The pieces are much more intricate and there are more options than Color Me Mine. It is nice that you pay the studio fee for each piece rather than for each person and you can go back up to 3 times to finish your piece.

We had Wildflower Studios on Studio Chatter last week and we had a blast. Thank you for coming in and teaching us that painting is fun & therapeutic. We cant wait for our Girls Night Out on August 30!
