Williams-Sonoma in Arapahoe County
Privilege
Im disappointed with the experience I had today.I have purchased a myriad of items, including a set of AlClad stainless cookware, add the entirety of the Trisha Yearwood, Gwendolyn collection ( which is beautiful.)This being said because I have a strong sense that its perhaps the ratty hoody I had on, or something else about my appearance that caused the associate to turn me away with a very simple exchange request.I understand she explained that theres a new system in place where they no longer can access or honor an exchange past 30 days.I brought in a can opener that had an obvious manufacturing defect, that my sweet husband had picked up for me sometime this summer. The can opener has" Williams Sonoma" emblazoned on the handle, so its obvious where it came from.I did not ask for cash back or store credit. I was happy to exchange the item if that was their policy. The associate was not at all interested in explaining anything other than the fact that they have a new policy and made it quite clear that she was not going to offer any type of courtesy. We inquired if there was a way to look up my purchase account where I am supposed to acquire points with purchase and she would not entertain that request either. The can opener was only $20... Im not looking to get over on anybody. The way in which her hands were tied by policy or her personal feelings about whatever she assumed I was trying to dupe her with, left a bad taste in my mouth. It came off poorly.I called customer service where they graciously offered an RA tag in exchange for my returning the product, they gave me a store credit voucher. Why would I not be referred to them too begin with? She just shut me down and sent me away.Ive worked in an affluent neighborhood as a customer service provider for a long time. The way I was treated is a very avoidable consequence of lack of training and overall grace.I had also intended on picking up some enameled cookware while I was there today, but I suppose my business is better spent elsewhere. Its a shame.
MoreCindy was very kind and helpful. She helped us find two beautiful Le Creuset pots in the perfect color at a great price!
Morewhen a employee goes above and beyo d, reward them...GIVE THEM A RAISE AND KUDOS!!
MoreLoads of kitchen accessories and goodies.
Great products and great service
Well they have nice stuff. But I ordered some bowls and 2 out of 4 arrived broken, and it completely blew their mind how they were going to replace only 2 out of the set. They had to get in touch with someone in France apparently. If all 4 had broken they could have replaced them immediately. Now I know what to do next time....jk
MoreIm not allowed to go here unsupervised. Bad things happen to my wallet
Very good customer service. Merchandise is expensive but good quality.
Really just looking. Store was going through remediation services the atmosphere definitely musty and loud from the fans drying this poor little store out!
MoreYou kidding me? WS is always great.
Fun place to shop! I think you all already know to bring your wallet, but very nice quality goods.
MoreNice selection of quality kitchen appliances, utensils, dishes, linens and more.
Such a fun place to shop. You can find everything from a baby Yoda instapot to a giraffe cookie cutter. Not to mention the peppermint bark that is oh so delicious
MoreMight be better than bed bath and beyond!
Great selection of housewares.
This store carries a wide range of fine coffee makers which is what is came in to check out. After that, I shopped around for a few needed kitchen utensils. One of the sales clerks approached and asked, almost demandingly, to hold onto the items I picked so far as if I going to shoplift. When I went to check out, this lady had such a dour attitude and took an exceedingly long time to work the register. WS in general is a great, high-end kitchen ware store however the poor customer service at this location does not live to the brand. I recommend avoiding this location if youre shopping for new cookery.
MoreLimited selection compared to other Williams sonomas
Worst store ever!! This customer service is garbage
My favorite place to shop for Quality, service, and some cool gadgets.
The staff was very friendly but i was unable to accomplish my purpose for being there. I took my pricey knives in to be sharpened, which is supposedly part of the service they provide only to find theyre not sharpening knives right now due to covid19?! What!? How on earth does covid19 affect sharpening knives. Thats ridiculous!
MoreQuality items and good prices if you shop the sales.
Oh my goodness what a friendly staff. The guy helped my husband find the perfect Espresso cups and I found some lovely tea towels! I will be back to that same store!
MoreIts a nice store with great products. It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for! I purchased some pans as a gift and unfortunately they will not return gifts or anything for that matter after 30 days. Knowing that, it doesnt seem like a great idea to buy Christmas gifts here. Might be better to buy a gift card.
MoreFun place to look around but can be a bit pricey.
Nice place lots of stuff but expensive for my taste.
I want all of it.
So many culinary surprises! Liveed it!
WS is no longer the unique store it once was. I used to go there for hard to find things or very high quality items. Now it feels like Target.
MoreFriendly, helpful, well stocked, and best of all their holiday hot coco is still in stock.
MorePretty great spot! Right in the heart of that small, but high end, shopping center. They had homemade ice cream finish while we were in there looking for seasonings for ribs. They have a pretty solid selection of them as well. A bit over priced on the appliances though. You can typically find them for about 15% cheaper on Amazon. But they do offer cooking classes on the regular, which is just great.
MoreDebbie was a saint helping me with a complicated return!
A great place for anything to do with kitchen. The team members really know there products. If they dont have it they can order it for you. Super Super selection. If you get a chance, sign up for one of there classes, its truly remarkable.
MoreSo expensive. Did not buy anything. I prefer Sur Le Table for pricey kitchen goods.
MoreGood place for home goods.
Great service and value. Wayne and Pam were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great place to get your higher end quality cooking appliances and tools. Great service as well!
MoreLove shopping and browsing. Every imaginable wonderful thing for kitchen
After purchasing $400 worth of Christmas presents for my wife last year, her meat thermometer broke (fancy digital unit with 2 probes). We returned in less than a year to the same store with a broken unit hoping they would stand behind their product and exchange or at least offer a discount on new product. The manager was so flip and disrespectful to my very pregnant wife that I will never purchase any of their overpriced items that they do not stand behind again. Overpriced and crappy service!!
MoreGreat information lots of selections
Had what I wanted on sale! Thanks
My fiancé and I spent a lot of time in this William-Sonoma location. We wanted to see some products in store since we had been adding things to our wedding registry. Most of the ladies were super helpful in answering any questions we had and providing us information on different things we might like. It was an overall great experience. Unfortunately one of the employees left us feeling as though we did not belong in the store, making a few odd remarks, and looking at us with quite a bit judgement and distaste. It left us feeling uncomfortable, even as we left having purchased items.
MoreExceptional service!! so very pleased with with the customer service...Sarah was wonderful to work with..found a tablecloth that Ive been searching for--and also suggested dinnerware---Shes GREAT!!!
