Willunga Hotel in Onkaparinga

Ryanll sort ya wagon mate, lunch time beers, the kind of dinner you need after a 7 day slogfest on the tools, a good yarn, you can find it all at the Wilunga hotel; but dont just believe me, get one of their Rib eyes up ya with an ice cold pint and find out yaself.

The meals were cooked to perfection, great prices and the service was friendly and welcoming. Will def go back again.

Good meal but the oysters were off

Great service and a nice spot to spend a sunny Saturday.We enjoyed lunch in the beer garden under the veranda. Everyone working at the hotel was super nice and accommodating. I had the Godfather chicken schnitzel which was yummy and a good size portion. Washed it down with a local brew, Piggy in the Middle Session ale by South Coast Brewing, and it was a great visit!

I will drive hear from Adelaide just for their schnitzel, its awesome! Lovely beer garden and friendly staff.

What a great place, awesome food, amazing friendly service, great atmosphere and such good value. Highly recommended, dont drink past.

Wonderful food and a lovely experience

although the meals were smaller than other pubs it was enough and no wastage well presented and good flavor wines were exceptionally good value by the bottle about $10 cheaper than other hotels great beer garden im going back in springtime to enjoy the ambiance of the beer garden and enjoy a bottle of red from shaw family winery

Had dinner lastnight with a group of 6. Super friendly staff, very attentive and warm. Took our orders and double checked since our orders werent the typical orders. It was getting busier when we went up to order, and staff made it easier for us by coming up and taking drinks and food orders from our table. I found them super accommodating, on top of the food being served quickly and excellent quality. So badly wanted to try their sundaes but too full. Will be back again!

Nice pub, great atmosphere

Really enjoyed my meal, it tasted absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back for lunch or dinner again.

Awesome "down to earth" staff, amazing & affordable meals

Very bad customer service we have experienced tonight 12/7/22. Waited for long time to be served. We’re there first before other customer arrived but we ended up being asked too late for our orders. Waitress approached us in not a customer friendly way and told us to wait for an hour for the food to be served. Also have told us “this is what always happened to walk in customer if no booking in advance happened” Instead apologising she sounds like encouraging us to walk away. Very poor customer service!PS: coming from interstate and we are the only 2 Asian ( could be why we had to wait that long)

Awesome food, roast of the day is always a winner and the steaks are amazing. Reasonably priced, great portions. Kids love playing in the beer garden on the grass. Staff are always helpful and accommodate well for large groups with great service. Great Work, keep it up

Great range of meals and various portion sizes to suit all budgets and appetites. Nice beer garden out back to relax with a choice of cocktails for all occasions.Have been to all three pubs in Willunga and this is my favourite.

We had lunch here while in holiday in Adelaide a few days ago and it was fantastic. The staff were lovely and very helpful, the space is nice with lots of options for seating inside and out, the food was incredible and the prices are unbelievably good.

It was a busy night BUT burnt crumbs on a snitzel, eggplant snitzel like cardboard, overcooked medium rare steak and a dry salmon dish are never acceptable.Will go elsewhere next time

I havent been here for more than 12 years but the service and food were fantastic. Would recommend a trip down to Willunga and try it out

Michaels team are a sensational, friendly and, upstanding bunch of lads that will look after your wining and, dining needs.Excellent pub meals, good variety of drinks and a crackling A to Z cocktail list!

Quality hotel, beautiful staff. One of the best parmis Ive ever had. Great value and the owner clearly cares about his own pub more than money which is getting rarer and rarer to see.

Main Street dining, dining room or beer garden dog friendly. Lovely honest people working hard on very difficult times. 🙂

Excellent service. The main guy knows how to operate a beer tap and run a pub smoothly. Will definitely be back tomorrow after work. Love this place and their beer

"Youre the only people who complained about it" said the staff. We commented that the 2 salt and pepper squid orders were sweet. She went went away to taste it and came back to tell us there is nothing wrong with it ,no acknowledgement of course. "Thats how we do it " she added. So husbands was half eaten, and I ate whats around the squid because I dont like sweet gourmet. Salt and pepper squid should be salty ,its not our first time to eat salt and pepper squid but definitely the first time to eat sweet and pepper squid lol. Its annoying when you go dine out because you want something that you dont normally cook at home and yet you leave the restaurants door unhappy wishing you should have had something else or should have gone somewhere else.

Food was good but very slow service

A very pleasant pub indeed ! 17 of us arrived just recently and was looked after no problems great staff which met us at the door because of Covid regulations escorted us out to our table for an enjoyable hours or so Meals were superb , quick and no mistakes and lovely cold beer !! A large booking like what we had was no probs !! Will be back !

We were a group of seniors and very well catered for. The place had an old world feel. A bit dark and cluttered. Stone walls and a bit different. The prices were good and the servings were ample.

Beautiful old pub, I nearly fell asleep infront of the nice warm fire after I had a feed and two beers.Great staff and great food.Thanks guys!!

Long wait (1.5hrsfor our meals 2x snittys with gravy & chefs special (prosciutto wrapped chicken tender fillets on a risottothe chicken tenders were raw & the risotto was undercooked.The young female waiter was very kind.

Willunga Hotel is at 3 - 5 High St and is the middle pub in this town. Built in 1868 to serve the miners at the nearby slate quarries, but now serves a rural and tourist trade. Dining is available in the dining room or at the bar. Prices are reasonable. A beer garden and parking is available at the rear (access off St Peters St). Michael is the manager. Freindly service.

Good food, good service at a busy time and friendly attentive staff.

Almost all meals were great. My (bluerib eye was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately the lamb shank was stone cold in the middle. The staff offered a discount on the lamb dish but in the end they took it off the bill. Jamie was great to deal with.

Sunday lunch was extraordinary, staff & their service were exceptional, didnt want to leave. We returned on a Friday for lunch. We were welcomed & served as valuable, respected Customers - a rare experience during these Certificate of Vaccination ID(Covidtimes.

Heritage Hotel built with thick stone walls and high ceilings. Yummy speciality dessert finished off a pleasant day..

Fantastic country pub and dining experience is 5 stars. Michael & Romana serve the best steaks, seafood, schitzels and daily fresh vegetables and salads this side of the black stump at Humbug Scrub! My wife Chrissy and myself eat there regulie and there is always so much to eat, we always have a little treat for our little dog Buddy when he is finished getting clipped at the "Pampered Pooch", Willunga.If you are in the area you have truly missed one of Willungas treasures if you do not call in and say gday and have some epic country cooking with the top local wines taboot....Anthony🦘

I had a very good meal there. I recommend this place.

Absolutely charming hotel on the main street of the town! The food was surprisingly fresh and delicious. Love it how the old buildings have been preserved back from 1870s and have been used to form different sections of the current hotel.

Absolutely had a great time on a Monday night, met amazing regulars, the staff are so friendly and have great personalities, finally found my local pub. Cant wait to be back. Great prices, great service and fantastic food. Great variety....

Dropped in for a lunch time meal. We ordered steak and skewered prawns. The meal was cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. 2for1 main meal in the entertainment book.

Amazing food and great service, friendly staff and atmosphere.

Stopped here on holiday. Great atmosphere, large (and deliciousserves - and very reasonably priced. A small gesture, but providing a complimentary bread roll was a great touch!

The pub is a little small and feels a little crowded but dont let that spoil your visit. The meals are awesome the chicken schnitzel full Monty is to die for they also do a great 500g steak. The vegetables are the best I have ever had at any pub or hotel, I love this little pub and so does everyone else.

Its a small quiet little pub, meals are lovely
