My back pain was bad after a simple injury. It was painful to sit for long periods, sleep, and I needed help getting dressed. After being seen and was taught the tools to help strengthen my back, I am now back to being pain free. It feels so much better! Everyone at Wise PT was so nice and caring. The front office staff always had a smile on their face and the therapist were amazing at explaining not only what you’re doing, but why the exercise were helping.

I’ve never went to physical therapy and I was super nervous going for the first time. I began getting back spasms really bad after my pregnancy and everyone was very helpful and understanding. Not only did I leave feeling better but I’ve learned so much to help heal my back and I am forever grateful. The staff has been extremely helpful from the receptionist to Mr. Wise. I even received a small diploma and graduated Physical Therapy 🥰 thank you again!

My 8yo son has been coming here for months since being diagnosed with leg perthes. Not only have Mr. Wise and his whole staff (from the receptionists to the physical therapistsbeen knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and informative, they have provided a fun and encouraging environment for my son to grow and strengthen himself. They have provided extensive, personalized routines for home exercise as well as in office visits. I have watched my son become stronger, more comfortable, and more confident in how he carries himself. That has been quite a gift.

Had my initial appointment bumped 2 or 3 times for vague reasons. Once I was finally able to come in, I filled out paperwork for 30 mins. Then I go back to talk to Dr. Wise, who takes 5 mins to be very condescending to me about my accident and tells me they cant do anything for me until he talks to my surgeon. Not sure why he couldnt do that between then and the 3 weeks and 30 mins before when I was first scheduled. He was also just rude about how I didnt know what I expected out of therapy. Ive never broken my back before this, so thats on me for not knowing I guess. Go anywhere else.

After having 4 months of treatments, 3x weekly then 2x weekly, Ive returned to work as a cashier. I was apprehensive about my previous knee issues before PT, which were causing me to fall. Im amazed that I dont have any of those issues, my gait and posture are better and standing on my feet isnt as problematic. Thanks guys!

Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. I’ve struggled with back pain from scoliosis for a long time, and was given lots of tools and information on how to alleviate that pain and discomfort.

After the birth of my first child I suffered a painful, and not perfectly typical hip injury. I had pain with walking and was sitting, with standing and with exercise, bad enough to wake me up at night. After my second child my life had sort of become about what I had to do to avoid hurting my hip. My love life was limited to whatever position I could endure the longest with my hip. My military career was in jeopardy, and I was terrified that I would lose my job after my next PT test. Not only did wise PT immediately give me hope for a recovery, they provided me an individualized and multimodal recovery program, helped me every step of the way, and supported me even after I had reached some of my primary goals. Gratitude is not a big enough word for what they have done for me. I am so glad I got the opportunity to work with them.

Do not go here for physical therapy they do not care about your well-being they only care about their $150.00 fee. They bribe you with removing the fee so you will leave a good review. I have personally seen 2 previous patients get bribed to remove any fees they have accrued in return for a 5 star rating. Esha is the most unprofessional Office manager I have ever seen and she’s the one who has bribed patients. They find any and every excuse to give you this fee. I put in my two week resignation and what do they do? Fire me the same day I gave them my resignation. They did the same thing to Mallory they fired her with no warning whatsoever and no legit reason. They have gone through double digits for receptionist and they will never be able to keep one because they push all of their receptionists away. any time they don’t like someone they just fire them. Esha does a lot of grimey things especially with my 5 paychecks I have gotten I saw so many times where they shorted me money. They don’t properly train anyone and esha sits there talking about every patient she finds annoying or doesn’t like. Very unprofessional and them firing everyone they don’t like shows that. Never go here they are the worst and you will lose money some how.

Wise Physical Therapy is awesome! The staff is very professional and they care about their patients recovery! Walk in, feel welcome and enjoy your path to pains going away from the Wise workers that will make sure you get therapy physically!

I once liked them, even though there were some red flags, they seemed to always get smoothed out. But I could never get an accurate statement from them! I was always having to do their accountants job! And then, Bill Wise stopped doing strain/counterstrain on me for over a year. Besides that messing with my condition and pain greatly, I get it. But then he comes back finally and says he will see me again, only to then say I owed him $300 in fees for two appointments that I didnt make it. I had a legitimate medical reason from the first fee, and the second time was I had called in a WEEKEND day to say that I cant make an appointment on my birthday, I never set an appointment up on my birthday, and I wasnt going to be in on Monday, MY BIRTHDAY. So the last appointment I tried to attend they call me 15 minutes before Im supposed to be at my appointment, finally seeing Bill Wise, and they say I cant come in if Im not willing to pay those fees!! I was still waiting ON THEM, to even get my account right, because their accountant had missed applying 6 payments on my account!! I should have had a credit! I paid them over the required amount EACH time I went in. I was clearly upset, because I was about to finally get strain/counterstrain again, and they cancel out of greed for fees, and then send me a letter a few days later saying they will no longer treat me and to go somewhere else for my physical therapy!!Dont waste your time, energy, or sanity on this place! Bill Wise wouldnt even call me back himself to discuss this, even though I asked about 5 times, and have been seeing him for years! 😡

I was authorized by the veterans administration to receive physical therapy at wise. I was authorized for appointments from sept through the end of the year. Upon arriving at the clinic I was asked to sign a form saying that I would be charged 160.00 for any missed appointment. This position of suspicion and mistrust built into the patient intake form gave me pause. I need a health care provider that I can trust. This cant happen if they dont trust their patients. Upon leaving I was handed a schedule of 23 upcoming appointments. The max allowed by v.a. I believe wise is more concerned about getting every possible dime out of the v.a than they are with the care of the veterans. Its Saturday now and my first apt is Monday morning. Making it impossible to cancel 24 hrs in advance. Expensive lesson that I hope any reader can glean from my experience. Its hard to find a good health care provider but my advice is keep looking.

Had a recent interview there and the front desk staff and the other lady was very very pleasant. The main provider Mr. Wise was not very courteous and would hardly let me speak during my interview, so just a fair warning.

**Long Post Disclaimer** My back pain started many years ago when I was a firefighter in the USAF. I injured my back and to be honest gritted through the pain and didnt take care of myself. I absolutely loved my job and didnt want to be cross trained into something I may not like. So for half of my 20-year career and now 8-years into retirement I lived with pain nearly every day. I went PT before through the military but it always seemed like a lecture versus supportive care so I was not receptive.Katelyn (Dr. Keith), did an awesome job of assessing my daily pain and linger effects of a recent flare up. She developed a regime for me that reduced my daily pain to nothing and started me on a track to strengthening my body again. The impact was almost immediate. I literally walk faster now without pain, I can sit through those boring meetings for hours knowing what to do to stretch things back out. This entire experience has been a life changing event for me.All I can say is thank you!

Great Drs! Thank you so much Wise Physical Therapy, my 9yr daughter is walking and feeling better because of your expertise.We took her other places and they could not help and she did not feel comfortable with them.But Wise Physical Therapy REALLY HELPED!!! The whole staff is very nice and always try to go out of the way to make my daughter laugh and feel better. I highly recommend this practice out of all Alaska!!!

Wise Physical Therapy put together a plan for me that had a focus on neuromuscular rehabilitation. It was more helpful than I even imagined it would be. The staff is great and the therapists are outstanding. I definitely recommend them!

Wise Physical Therapy is amazing at what they do. I would recommend anyone who is in pain or need physical therapy for anything, to come see what the Wise Physical Therapy staff can do for you. They are a very talented group and all have different ways of doing things to get you back to your normal self. They got me cleared back to work in 3 months after my shoulder surgery. Thank you to all the therapists at Wise!!!On a side note the front desk staff is amazing and very friendly!!

I was shocked by the comments that Bill Wise made about Alaska Native people and patients. I wont be going back.

My physical therapist J Cook is amazing reduced my pain significantly I am so happy to be a patient here. I would most definitely recommend her and the Wise Physical therapy office. Update today I went in unable to walk she got me from. 7-8 pain level to easily a 4 amazing work.

Dr. Wise has absolutely turned my life around. Within about 8 or 9 sessions I was almost pain free when before I came in, I was in constant pain. I can do so much than I used to be able to!!

After a strain to my foot, I started treatment with Wise Physical Therapy. In their reception area, it is posted that movement is their mission. That is the truth! The practitioners are skilled and exceeded my expectations. I have been to other PT offices, but never had such quick relief and helpful results. Their approach to treatment and care was amazing and the front office staff are friendly and super professional. Highly recommended!

Wise Physical Therapy was the most caring physical therapy environment Ive ever been in. I was helped to increase my range of motion following a minor vehicle accident & was encouraged to continue my exercises & to "keep moving". Laura Regan worked with me & was very kind & explained everything in detail. Id highly suggest Wise to anyone looking for effective physical therapy.
