We tried Wok the Line last night for the first time and we were very impressed! It was a clean, nice atmosphere with helpful employees and yummy food! We got one half bowl & one full bowl. We both were a little hungry after. Definitely would recommend the full bowl for an adult dinner. The Utah sauce was super fun & unique! The teriyaki was a delicious classic. The quality of the food was top notch, the portion was just a bit too small. The restaurant is equipped with baby seats, diaper changing stations, restrooms, and condiments for your food. Overall would definitely recommend!
I’ve discovered wok the line this year and I’ve had health issues and at times could only eat certain foods. Fiona has always been super understanding and has always me choose the best dish for the day.
giving 4 stars because it’s good food.. but just like be nicer in customer service ya know? I asked if i could have my noodles on the side and the girl working (short, black hairacted like she was SO PUT OUT. literally like could not compute. I wanted the noodles on the side so my 2 year old could eat them. and she acted like i had just asked her to solve world hunger. then said “we can do it because it’s slow but next time we will not” Im a waitress and i cannot imagine talking to someone like that. just real tired of poor customer service these days.also they told us any sauce other than teriyaki sauce was $2.50 extra? since when?
Food choices were great. Delicious and fast. A bit cold in there.
Good spot for a quick lunch break. Bpwl with Noodles+ Veggies + choice of protein. Dont worry about the lines. Thats only proof their food is good. I love stopping in here during a lunch break. Ive had them cater at our company, too!
Dining area and bathroom were dirty, and the cooking area looked a little suspicious. There was a loud humming noise coming from the back that made it difficult to have a conversation with my party. Food was hot when it was and it was tasty. So food is good but not a very quiet or clean restaurant
This place is always great, food and service. Skylars team do an amazing job and the food is always hot, fresh and tasty! Love this place!
LOVE this place. Fresh food, cooked right in front of you. Great quality. Great staff. Great manager. Top notch restaurant. Love eating there.
Great food and people. They catered the Axe throwing event at Premier Throwing and it was excellent. We’ll be back next time we are in the area.
They catered an event I was at today and the bowls are great. Mix of chicken and beef with rice and an excellent sauce. Throw some crunchy chili sauce in there and good to go!
The staff was super friendly & it was very clean but I got the wok sauce and it didn’t have a ton of flavor. Also a bit pricey for the portion size you get. My bowl was like $15 and was the same size as a small cup bop or Panda Express bowl.
So glad we decided to stop and try Wok The Line. I liked the build your own bowl style, you pick noodles or rice, pick a protein, a sauce, and add veggies. The food was made fresh, lots of flavor, and wasn’t lacking on sauce. For being cook to order the food was ready really quickly. I’m normally conservative with my vegetables but trying daikon again reminded me how much I like them. The veggie rolls were also very tasty.Highly recommend. We will be back!
I worked at this restaurant for roughly 4 months I believe, and would like to say that the food was just as delicious then as it is now.Ive heard this companys had a little bit of a rough time and my heart goes out to them, theyve done great things for me and was a great stepping stool in the success of my life.Thank you Skylar and Hannah for the opportunity that you gave me. ❤️
Wok the Link is a great elegant Asian cuisine in a great location off the Pleasant Grove exit in Lindon. I ordered the chicken curry bowl with a bunch of vegetables that tasted great And cooked to perfection. The staff was very courteous and friendly and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this place for lunch.
Been in a few times, and the food is always fine. The price seems a little high for the amount you get, but the quality of food is good. Wouldn’t consider it terribly “authentic” Asian food, but the woks are pretty cool. It’s a cool vibe.
Met my husband here at 7:40pm on a Saturday for dinner. They were out of 2 options and when I asked a question about sauces, the employee, albeit friendly, was unable to give me an answer. We ordered our food and my husband went to pay when the owner, who was working the cash register, told us that we could not sit and eat. We dont live close. (In fact, I wanted to check this place out because the office manager had asked for new recommendations for catering our monthly lunches for an entire department. So we didnt want to eat our food in the car. He said that since we didnt tip and they closed in 15 min, we werent welcome to sit. We had no idea that they closed at 8pm. He was incredibly rude about it. What did we have to tip for at that point? We hadnt even tried the food, they were out of 2 options, they couldnt answer my questions. We often do tip with cash after the fact. Ive never been treated so poorly. He told us he had enough customers. Well, he surely wont get a monthly catering order or our business since he has enough as it is
Always outstanding. Fresh ingredients made by folks that really care about producing great food. One of my favorites. I eat here regularly and it never misses.
Disappointment13$ gets you about 10 oz of food.I ordered the sweet potato noodles and got regular. It does taste good, but the portion for price is a shock.
Good portions, and kudos to the workers. They seemed very engaged and efficient with all the orders they were taking. The Szechuan shrimp is excellent, so is the curry one.Im rotating to keto now, and using the salad base is delicious with vegetables and shrimp. The owner even replied to my email about things that were keto friendly and heres what he had to say:"The Utah sauce is keto friendly, Garlic Chili and Wok Sauce, we can also make a special keto friendly sauce which is just sesame oil, lemon and salt."I went with the garlic chili sauce and my friend went with the Mayo based Utah sauce... Mine was great, his was excellent. The little bit of orange zest in the Mayo tastes wonderful to me.
I might have a small addiction to this place. Yeah, its rice bowls; which have become ubiquitous and generally pretty disappointing (read: 4x more rice than vegis and meat). Such is not the case at Wok the Line. The ratio of rice, vegis and meat is spot-on. I love that I can choose which vegis I want and they have a broad range of tasty sauces. Their online ordering is super-fast. The only negative I have is price. Their bowls start at $10 and even with only modest customizations the price usually ends up between $15 and $18.
Ok so at this point I’ve eaten here 3 different times…. In the past week since we first went here 🤣 I’ve tried the steak and the chicken, and as for sauces I’ve tried teriyaki, chili garlic and the Utah. They are all so dang good (my wife is a very picky eater and she is hooked). Both the rice and the noodles are good. This food tastes like it’s made with INTENTION and we love that. I wanted to see what kind of crazy people post bad reviews about this place and surprise surprise, it’s a bunch of people griping about money or COVID. So sad they would try to tear down such an incredible restaurant. Love this place and IT IS SO CLEAN. If you compare it to any other Chinese restaurant you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Also, PLEASE PLEASE add salmon or some type of fish as a protein option! Other restaurants have ruined shrimp for me forever but I love seafood and these sauces would be so good on a great piece of fish 🤣
Had a small fried rice bowl with steak and veggies. Very simple and delicious.
Wok the line is beyond amazing. The food is delicious and high quality. Chef Skylar is phenomenal and very friendly. Try the noodles with Dan Dan and teriyaki, thank me later.
That was the worst meal I have had in a long time! I requested in the notes and paid extra to have the sauce on the side and not cooked in the veggies and it was drown in teriyaki sauce that was way too sweet. It was disgusting. The spring rolls were mushy on the inside and the whole restaurant smells like old oil. I am highly disappointed that can not support locals when the food is disappointing.
Came back to edit my original 5 star review as this place has become my latest obsession! By far the best asian cuisine in the Pleasant Grove area. Service is always quick and friendly, food is served HOT & FRESH and the different menu options are super solid! Would recommend to anyone who likes asian cuisine. I’ve brought almost my entire family (even some of the ones I don’t like 😅😂to this place just to try it out.Great owner, great staff, FRESH ingredients you can tell are of quality. I really hope they open another location in Orem area! Only complaint is the restaurant is very loud when it’s busy, which is understandable, but the acoustics in there amplify everything. Overall, huge fan and will be returning again and again!
First time coming to this place. My husband and I really enjoyed it. I created my own, I got the fried rice with chicken and teriyaki sauce, the veggies I chose were zucchini, bell peppers and onions. So delicious! The sauce was really good. I also loved the rice. I saw some people with the noodles and they looked so good. I’ll have to try those next time. I got a half size and it was plenty big for me.
We really liked this place. Tried it out on a date night and were very happy. Its a lot of food, and both we tried had really good flavors. I would have liked just a little stronger flavor in the peanut sauce, but the Dan Dan was amazing. They were really patient as we tried to figure it all out our first time. Youll probably spend more here than other fast casual places but Id recommend giving it a try.
Phenomenal taste and quality. Meals full of flavor and fresh ingredients. Found a new favorite place!
This place is amazing! Super fast, incredibly delicious sauces, so fresh, and prepared perfectly! Second time here and will definitely be coming again. A must experience!
Awesome time at Wok the Line! I got the sweet potato noodles with chicken for the protein and the curry sauce with the variety of vegetables, it was excellent 🤤🥰 Wonderful customer service ❣❣❣ thank you for the chef Skyler🤩
Well, I now have a new "go-to" for noodles, this place was so good! I got a Full Wok order with noodles, chicken, Dan Dan sauce, bok choy, onions, peppers, carrots, and cabbage. Very tasty, large portion, fast service, cannot wait to go back and try the other sauces!
Came for a work lunch, coming back for every day normal lunch. This is the best kind of Asian food I’ve had in Utah Valley. Way better than a Zaos or Panda. A bit pricier ($10 rangebut one bite and you won’t complain.I particularly think the Dan Dan is the best sauce on there (it comes with pork in case you don’t want to pay extra for chicken or other meatso would highly recommend. They also said the teriyaki and Wok sauce are the other most popular. They don’t tell you on the menu but you can mix sauces (do the Dan Dan and teriyaki).Good people too. Skyler and Ian provided exceptionally good service in explaining the menu and taking time to make recommendations. 2nd time I came this week!
Great food. Met for a work lunch. Definitely a very lively and busy lunch spot.Amazing Chinese food. Fresh made right before your eyes. A little bit on the more expensive side of things but well worth the price. Highly recommend the shrimp. It’s always scary getting seafood in Utah but these guys really nail it. The portions weren’t super generous, but really high quality.Definitely going to return, would highly recommend to anyone.
Freshest, yummiest, Asian bowl around. I left full, but felt amazing because of how balanced the meal was. 100% satisfying and highly recommend! A little pricey, but that’s what you pay for whole ingredients and homemade sauces that aren’t full of sugar and salt. Definitely coming back here. Staff was super kind and helpful too. I’d recommend the noodles, chicken, wok sauce and any veggie your heart desires.
Holy cow, I don’t know why we haven’t gone here sooner. The food was SO good. The staff was super friendly and willing to help me figure out what to order. The owner was incredibly friendly, we are excited to come here often and support a local business. We want to try every sauce! Even their little pies were amazing!
A step up from Panda Express. Way too much sauce.I appreciate that they had a traditional Chinese “sauce,” I guess you could say - aka their Wok Sauce. This is an Asian Fusion place, so they also have both Japanese- and Korean-inspired sauces / dishes.Service was fine though - employees very nice and checked in regularly. There’s a couple spots for outdoor seating.
This place is amazing with allergies 🙌 I was so impressed with how they handled our food to make sure we were as safe as possible. Plus the food is so delicious and huge portions!!! I should have gotten half size it would have been plenty 😊 the fun part of a place like this is everyone really gets to be as picky as possible. You pick your base, your protein, your veggies, and your sauce. My whole family loved each of their own meals and they were all so different. I personally love the teryaki and my husband loves the spicy one...cant remember what it was called. Great new restaurant. Hope they are here to stay!
Just get the Dan Dan sauce! I meant to take this photo sooner but couldn’t stop eating. This is gluten free noodles, Dan Dan sauce, peppers, asparagus, baby corn and onions. The sauce is like a teriyaki black pepper with a little spice and delicious ground pork. I also had the rice pudding which was creamy, delicious and dairy free. A little pricey for the full bowl, I try to get the special of the week as the price is better.
Food was good not great but good. Prices are high for what you get. I understand this is a new restaurant and new employees but they could use some training on how to correspond with customers. Definitely the first and last time I will visit this restaurant. So I decided to try Wok The Line again. First the owner did address the customer service I was very well surprised on how much improved it was. Very professional and courteous employees. The food does cost about $17 per plate which I would expect a little more food for that cost but the food is good. I had the garlic sauce on noodles with chicken and it was very good. The vegtables are fresh and the chicken was cooked to where it was still tender. And I thought the sauce was very good.My wife had the yellow curry sauce she did like it but we both agreed it would be better on rice than noodles. Being I ate about half my wifes I can write my thoughts on that also. My wife really liked the curry, I thought it was okay. It is more like an Americanized curry. If you are looking for a more authentic curry sauce then try a different sauce. There is a daily special I think you can get for $10-$11 dollars and you can also get half servings.I am changing my evaluation from a two star to a four star.
Just went here for the first time today, lots of great options and clearly marked vegan and gluten free options for those who dont eat meat or wheat. Lots of veggies to choose from and all very well cooked and delicious. Half or full sized options in case youre extra hungry or just a bit. Will definitely be returning!
Woah! We were so impressed with this restaurant. They they you completely customize your order and make everything fresh, right in front of you. We tried the curry, teriyaki, and dan dan sauces and were really impressed with the flavors. We are also incredibly happy to have found Asian food in Utah valley that is actually good and doesn’t make you feel heavy and gross afterwards. You’ll definitely want to try this place out!
Fantastic place for fresh Asian food, noodles, fried rice and salads. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. I will definitely be back to this place.
Had the glass noodles with chicken in a spicy snake river pork Dan Dan sauce, and freshly sauteed veggies!! So delicious and delicately flavored-Chef Skylar crushed the cooking again!! Not to mention a side of house made kimchi- best kimchi ever!!
I’ve heard great things about this place even before I had the chance to eat here! So I was pretty excited when we finally had the chance to stop by. I love how everything is cooked fresh, right when you choose the meat and veggies you want, along with the sauce. My first time here I had the kid portion or half bowl, but def wanted/yearned for more after I finished it. We tried the steak with Dan Dan sauce with veggie options of bok choy, water chestnuts for the crunch, and mushrooms. I love how over fifteen + options for vegetables. Also tried their veggie egg rolls. Veggie egg rolls were not bad, but the food is pretty fantastic, especially for someone who wants a quick meal, but fresh, healthy, and delicious. The cost is decent too! Hubby is a pretty picky eater and after experiencing the dining experience here, he actually said he really liked it and would like to come back - that’s a BIG compliment on its own!
We were in town for a family visit and Wok the Line was recommended I had the Lemongrass Chicken with egg noddles picked all my veggies and it was wok’d to perfection. Many off menu combinations and sauces. The Black Market Kimchi was bomb
I think this is my wifes and my new favorite. It is close to home, fresh, and extremely tasty. The egg noodles are chewy and perfect. Everything is so fresh and it comes to you piping hot from the wok. They also gave us free kimchi that was tasty and not overly spicy. Great new addition to the area.
The most fresh and flavorful asian food I have had anywhere in Utah! Local pork, wagyu beef, and more-Fantastic menu variety! Skylar the owner/chef delivers on top quality food and service (btw we found out he was head chef a 2 Michelin star restaurantIf you love quality- Check this place out!!! We ordered glass noodles with shrimp, chicken, and veggies. I got wok sauce (delicious and savoryand my wife got the Sichuan sauce (classically spicey, but not on fire). Everything we tasted (including the best rice pudding Ive ever hadwas amazing!!! Thank you Skylar!!
Great Food ! Very tasty! Highly recommend. I love how they blend the foods together. And give you sauce options! Cant to bring my family here and taste all the flavors!
We had a marvelous dinner here. We will be coming back. Thats probably all you need to know. However, for those who like details, read on. This is my second time here. The Szechuan sauce is marvelous and I enjoyed the Lemon Lemongrass sauce tonight. The title of the restaurant tells you a little bit about their format. You "wok" in and select base {rice, noodles, etc.}, veggies, protein and sauce. They put it together and Wok it while you wait. What you get is exceptionally fresh, piping hot, delicious Chinese food made to order.Skyler (the ownerloves making people happy with good food. He was very interested in our experience. So go in, give it a try and let him know what you think. Itll be better tomorrow than it is today.
I had the steak and curry salad. I loved the sauce. Yum! The steak was very tender. I like the option of a bed of lettuce, instead of only rice or noodles. You dont have a fresh salad option like that at other Chinese restaurants! Portions are good sized and worth the great taste and healthy feel you have after eating. That truly matters. I am looking forward to trying other sauces in the future (lots of great choicesand supporting this new restaurant in the valley. The owner certainly seems to care a lot about his passion. And having a variety of places to dine makes our county that much better. Kudos Wok the Line!
