Very poor management, very bad place to live , bad environment 0/10 would not recommend

I love here 2 yr the new manager lied to get me evicted and said I owed rent when I didnt pay rent it was a mistake from the utility company when I first moved in that I had to call them and go back to their recordings to verify that they put the lights in my name and I would constantly be harassed about this hundred and $52 and then she took me to a court to evict me saying I agreed to pay $110 plus late fees equal 152 which was the amount of the light bill and do to me not properly reading the paper and sending my response to their lawyer and not the court also they ruled in her favor and when I called to try to get the situation under control and offered to pay the rent or whatever she still refused to let me pay the money and evict me and my four kids when Im not even from Kansas Im from Michigan and I told her I will have nowhere to go and she still refused to come to any kind and agreement when she lied on the false pretenses to the court but I am following up with the court for a lawsuit and the thing is I loved my apartment Im a person who stays to myself so what goes on outside I didnt care about I stayed inside and minded my own business but because of the experience with the new manager I give it a one-star

Very Unorganized, constantly changing management, office is appointment only but never answers to make an appointment. So frustrating

Update: Woodland Village had a change of heart! The have set up a time to let the children get their things!! Prayers have been answered.This apartment complex is holding the belongings of children, including a baby, whose mother passed away!!! They changed the locks and did not let caregivers retrieve the children’s clothes, toys, beds, or any thing that was theirs!!! The children are grieving the loss of their mother and aren’t able to have anything that was hers/theirs from when she was alive. Do not rent from this evil, heartless, apartment complex!!!

This complex refused to let a family enter the premises and gather children’s belongings when the mother of the children passed away. They changed locks and refused to allow them to get the kid’s clothing, toys, anything. Now 30 days later they choose to say everything will be trashed unless they pay the complex and have a lawyer. Ownership should lose their licensure and management should be fired. This is vile and despicable behavior.

How dare you hold their loved ones belongings. Im praying you didnt already dispose of their deceased loved ones things.

This is a horrible place my sister passed away there a month ago and I asked how long do I have to get stuff it they said we will give you time dont worry about that now we are sorry for your loss then we tried to go back to get the kids items she had 5 and the place had changed the locks no one will return my calls they called me today saying they had an opening when would I like to come by I explained to the lady Ive been calling for 3 weeks now and I would like to get the kids items she looked my sister up and couldnt find anything then after a while told me to hold on hung up on me and didnt call me back so again I called back and left a message but my question is who does that to kids who just lost their mother and all their clothes and shoes and items that has memories to them why cant we get their stuff

Unorganized office professionals to an extreme. Not given proper notice on anything entering your home pretty much whenever they feel like for whatever they feel like. On the occasional chance you do receive notice its at 5pm on a note in your your door that they will be entering at 8 or 9 am the next day. Good luck getting them to answer in the morning for you to let them know the oldest person in the home is only 14 and the work they are trying to complete will need to be done on ur day off. Of course it wont stop them form coming in anyway even with nothing more than teen girls home. Rent change? Let me tell you 2 months after the fact and expect you to pay the difference. I understand with upgrades in a complex this size things are going to be hectic but this is ridiculous. 0 stars from me

I wanted to give this place negative stars. But its not possible. I lived at this place from feb 2018 to feb 2019. The entire experience was horrible. Office people was hardly ever able to be reached. They make their our hours for when they want to have the office open. The called leaving hateful voicemails in that time. I moved out in jan 2019. Turned in the keys in the rent drop box on jan 31st 2019. Due to my work schedule I couldnt hand them to them and the office was barely open. I turned in my 30 day notice to move jan 1st 2019. Told the office on jan 10th 2019 that I turned in my 30 day notice and Id be out before feb 1 2019. Time went by, I waited on my deposit to be given back, hadnt heard a thing from office since jan 10th conversation, I called in may 2019 for over a week tryin to find out about my deposit they then told me they "thought" I still lived there. But hadnt recieved any type of rent from me since Jan 2019 and the rent was to increase to $907 a month starting feb. 2019. They never called to ask about rent. Then made all types of excuses about my deposit. They finally set a time to do a "walk threw" of my prior apartment for june 13th 2019. There was nothin wrong in my unit. The person in the office said she was turning in the paperwork and I would receive my deposit in the mail by 30 days. When I called 40 days later after not receiving my deposit they proceeded to tell me that I wasnt getting it back because I jus moved out when I did walk threw. And said I incurred past due rent charges but not once asked for said past due rent. Do not live here!!

I can all that happens. They have installed cameras in there now. Its always been like that for as long as can remember. I lived out in 1977 or 1978. The daycare was run up the off then to. It was fine a little bit for the kids to play outside yet you still want that watchful eye on them. I go out to pick up a friend out there this is why Im doing this because really nothing has changed.

The current manager Denise Taylor is racist. Trying to evict whites. Gave us a notice saying we did not pay our rent. I found the rceipt saying i did. She also said we havent been keeping up the cleanliness of the place. Well our place is clean. She wants us to do the baseboards and walls. Well we have disabilities preventing us from doing this. I spoke with other tennants who stated that she sends out notices saying she is going to show and doesnt show untill the 4th one. Other tennants stated to me that she is a bad manager and should be fired. I agree. She is trying hard to evict us over nothing. But yet she wants to keep the drug users and dealers. She is very racist and has in the past made it known by making crude comments to white poeple. Not acceptable! And their kids. She hates animals too. Poeple are moving out do to how bad a manager she is.

Nothing but drugs and fighting out here and the office people know it no where good for kids to play other then in the middle of the drug deals and fights they have cameras but still let people move in and out of the apartments THAT ARE NOT ON ANY LEASE that just brings more problems AND THE OFFICE KNOWS IT if you move here all I can say is good luck

Pic is deceiving. Residents have no access to play area. Its reserved for the daycare center thats ran out of the same building as the office.
