MoreThe store and service was good at the time of purchase, but do not bother wasting your money on the furniture insurance. I repeat, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE INSURANCE! Its a total scam and not even sure if its a real company or juts someone with an email address. We have jumped through every hoop to get a cut in the fabric of our sofa fixed, and the claim was approved beginning of September. Now it is April and I am the one chasing after them again and again. Its pathetic and maddening. Neither the store nor the insurer is giving me an accurate answer. At this point I just want the money back I paid towards this non insurance.

Extremely disappointed with this place. I have been a customer for many years. Never have I experienced an issue. I recently went in March 2021, I purchased a mattress. I was told give us a few days someone will call you . I waited for 1 week and finally decided to call them. When I called them I was told my order hadnt been submitted. They said give us a week. A week goes by and I call them again. And then was told oh the order hasnt arrived yet. They said a few more days. What bothered me the most was the lack of communication and the attitude they gave when calling to inquire about your order. If only they did their job of communicating and calling customers, I wouldnt have to call? The worst customer service and poor management. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless you want to wait 2 months for your order and constantly call them to check it. The worst thing is I was told by the gentleman loading my order that my order had been there all along !!!

I want to start off this review by saying I am a lifelong resident of the Turlock area and have been a Woods Furniture Customer for most of my adult life. Now, A few years back my wife and I were saddened by the possibility of Woods Furniture closing as they had all kinds of “going out of business” and “Retirement” banners around their store. We needed a new living room set so we stopped in. Come to find out it was one of the brothers who was retiring and “going out of business”, nonetheless we purchased a very nice, very pricy sectional for our living room. This transaction and subsequent delivery/setup went well.The beginning of October, my recliner, which was also a Woods purchase, was not working out for me, so I went in to purchase another. After much consideration, I special ordered a recliner. Due to the current outbreak, the order would not be here for 4-6 weeks.In late October, my wife decides to replace the bedroom furniture and we go to, of course, Woods. Again, nothing is in stock and we order what the wife selected. 2-4 weeks we were told.November 14, 2020 my wife had spent over three hours back and forth on the phone with Woods to get a status on our orders. She was told the bedroom furniture was ready and they had pulled pieces from other orders to get it ready for us. I was not happy with that since someone else would be left waiting, possibly longer than we have been. We were also told the manufacturer of the recliner did not have the material in stock to cover the recliner and had no idea when it would be in stock. At this point we were at the 6 week mark on the recliner order and WE had to call to get a status. Before, communications were always top notch and we were notified of any delays. We decided to cancel both orders and get a refund and I won’t get into how that went.Long story short, I went to another long time furniture store in Hughson and bought a recliner, which was a match to what I had ordered at Woods, but at half the cost. We went to a newer furniture store in Downtown Turlock and found similar bedroom furniture for cheaper too.Needless to say, I won’t be back to Woods Furniture. Just a different, bad vibe and absolutely zero customer service after the purchase.

I know this place long enough to recommend it. I and my father stopped by to see for mattress deals and he chose a very nice mattress for a very good one. Ive also purchased some good quality furniture for a very good price. they have announced there is a retirement sales running.

Bottom line, my husband and I did business here even though we knew they were more pricey because we thought they were a reputable company with great customer service but not the case. I recently resolved a claim that has been open a year now. To woods credit, a lot of the issues were dealing with the warranty company, but they definitely did not help in the process (even though they liked to act like they did!). I was constantly following up with both woods and the warranty company. Neither had an interest in helping me get my couches, which had a fabric tear, replaced or fixed. Finally, after 10 months of working with the warranty that woods ensured me would be "no questions asked" after they sold it to me for $500, approved full replacement, The only items that Justin and Lena were interested in showing me to replace were over double the cost. And when I kindly asked Justin what he could show me at a similar comparison and price so my husband and I didnt have to pay an additional $2,500 hundred dollars on top of our credit, he cut me off with " well youll just have the same problem". He said hed do research on comparables at Ashley and never did, so I did myself and let him know what I wanted fromAshley home furniture. He continued to not reply to my emails and questions but eventually ordered the couch I requested (didnt confirm through email like I asked! Found out he ordered them when another person called me and said my couches were in!). Bottom line is my husband and I have the money to spend on a nice furniture set, but wed rather take our business somewhere else, where they truly care about their customers and good customer service. This place is a joke and not worth the over priced items and terrible customer service.

I love their selection and great manufactures they carry I know I am buying quality furniture. I can always find what i am looking for there. They carry anything traditional to really funky. We have furnished many homes with their furniture and if its something they dont have in stock they can order exactly what your looking for. Always enjoy the sales people they are all very nice, easy to work with and very knowledgeable of products. Their delivery services is excellent too they will do what they have to do to make you happy. We highly recommend Woods Furniture.

I have been a customer for well over 11 years and have given this business over $7,000 business - THEY made an error today on delivering an item to my home and treated me like a criminal. Mike the finance guy made false report to the police stating we threatened to come to the store. THEY claim they didnt have money to refund us on AN ERROR THEY ADMITTED THEY MADE (Admitted it to the Deputy-- I refused to not let delivery guys take back item until my money was refunded. Mike (the finance managerclaims he didnt have the ability to refund my money , finance guy doesnt have that ability ???? hmmmmm --- Mike KNOWINGLY makes a false report to Stan County S/O after i told him when were going to come down to the store and get a refund before they could pick up their item. When I get there -- 6 employees all standing their blocking me and treat me like Im a criminal. Yet the gals whom helped sell me the item all apologize for the confusion and ADMIT IT WAS ERROR ON THEIR PART -- THE SALES PERSON SPECIFICALLY STATED TO ME THAT GAIL SHOULD NOT HAD AUTHORIZED THE DELIVERY AT THIS POINT *** YET THEY CALL THE POLICE ON ME ON A CIVIL MATTER ??? What a waist of law enforcements time --- mmmm - I WAS TREATED HORRIBLY ! AND THEY FAILED TO HONOR THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO !I strongly recommend **DONT DO BUSINESS WITH** and if you choose to do so , double check your contract and make sure when with either Crystal or Gail call you -- double check and make sure they are doing their job correctly and not making mistakes.A reputable business knowing they made an error would have done the right thing to make it right -- instead Mike accused me of stealing property, called the police on me and knowingly made false report to law enforcement -- yes folks, the finance person, the one youll be trusting your bank and credit card information with. ID THINK TWICE !And - keep in mind this was with a loyal customer.NO LONGER A CUSTOMER AND DISGUSTED BY THEIR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM !
