Woolworths in Brisbane

Ashgrove has a good choice of grocery shops, it’s a one stop shopping precinct.

Went in at 8.30am today to buy a crab which had already been set up in the cabinet on ice. Was told they cant serve me one now until 9.30am when the seafood counter opens. At least have a sign up saying you dont serve any seafood until 9.30am. Went to the seafood shop around the corner who hapilly sold me one.

Used to work here. Now I shop here. Great Staff

Why close the seafood deli at 7pm when the rest of the shop is open until 9pm??? Some of us actually work long hours and can’t shop in the middle of the day. Pathetic decision Woolworths.

Always out of basics. Consistently poorly stocked with empty shelves. Yet they seem always to be shelf-filling at really busy times, with aisles blocked by huge trolleys. Limited alternative options in Ashgrove but its a lousy local supermarket tbh

It is nice but a bit too small. Its not one of those new shops that has lots of variety and space. However, ok for casual shopping and convenient near both Coles and Aldi.

Never had problems with online shopping.

Great store, great parking and just outside their front door is Brisbanes best bakery. Their hot pies are legendary. Everything that I hey sell is outstanding.

Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Need traffic directions on car park.Please make it clockwise only or SOMETHING

Easy parking. Very convenient to other shops like the chemist warehouse, Commonwealth bank, coffee shops, cafes etc.

This Woolworths was the worst shopping experience I have ever encountered. The isles are narrower than other stores, the shelving and facing of shelves was extremely poor which made the store feel unmaintained.The music had a buzzing sound through the whole sound system, not just one speaker, the whole store. My daughter and I walked out with headaches.Items were not alligned to the labels, and some labels were missing completely. Trolleys were either dirty or old and difficult to push and navigate through the massive loads of people trying to squeeze through the isles.Staff trying to fill shelves while we were trying to shop was just blocking the isles even more and creating unnecessary congestion, the staff wouldnt even move for the customers.Get the the checkouts, and the lines were huge, tried going through the self serve checkout bit the scale was faulty and very slow.NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. Actually now thinking about it, i think Coles maintains their stores better and staff seem friendlier. The whole vibe is different.

Shelf stocking when customers are shopping is ridiculous... blocking aisles and making everyone not be able to social distance .

Terrible service when I tried direct to boot service. After long wait in the poorly ventilated carpark, they bring down shopping trolley and give it to you, then leave. Had to report missing items online. They did not help disabled customer unable to walk. Other customers had to help them with their one bag of groceries, and return the trolley.Was woken up one morning by Woolworths delivery driver ringing doorbell, with bags of groceries. They had come to wrong address.

I dropped in for a quick grocery shop this morning, and was touched, amazed and genuinely moved by the lady singing out the front "Morning has Broken". What an amazing voice, I hope shes getting paid. Thank you, it made my shopping trip one to remember. Merry Christmas 🎅

I am not impressed with Woolworths - the 5 stars are for the lady working at the self checkout. I have been in 3 times and each time she has been friendly, polite, helpful and the management should acknowledge this lady. She made kind suggestions that saved me money and I cannot praise her enough. Next time Im going to look for a name badge and call her out. Thank you

I am a taxi driver for now. Woolworths has great staff. After an enjoyable shopping experience they happily gave me the correct change that I asked for. I highly recommend Woolworths for groceries

This is one of the big Woolworths stores. When I lived in Ashgrove, I used to shop here for groceries. Nearby, there are other supermarkets as well. In the next block, there is a big COLES outlet and in the same block, there is an ALDI shop as well. So this area is a lively shopping area in Ashgrove.

Great Woolies, clean and bright, good size with lots of variety. Really pumping out the vegetarian options too. Line for checkout was long and staff a little dull but got everything I need and free fruit for the kiddies. Hot tip....park on the lower level to avoid getting stuck in traffic nightmare on the top level!

Its my general go to, has a wide range of products as well as a Sushi bar, lots of undercover parking & is also close to a good range of other stores I go to.

This Woolies is a tidy, always clean and good sized store. The customer service has never disappointed and they did really well during shortages in the pandemic to make sure there was enough for everyone. There is also a really great sushi place inside! Cant go wrong here 😊

I was really impressed by a staff member at the single lane checkout. He was appropriately friendly, efficient, and held good conversation while busy with scanning items. He dispayed excellent conduct in a busy period. Badge name "Mitchell". Thanks mate!

This used to be a great store. Not sure if new management. Always franticly stacking shelves during trading hours, like blocking isles. Throwing boxes onto shelfs leaving rubbish everywhere. I thought you used to do this out of hours. A lot of screaming on the PA system for staff, sometimes naming staff in desperation for them to leave the deli etc to go to help the checkout. I get pushed to use the self serve a lot. Good side - has a large range of products, but is usually running out of things. You will see quite a large number of staff with huge trolleys collecting orders from customers you will need to round around.

Click and collect drop off to car takes a long time. Nearly have to say your there when you leave your house to wait less than 15 minutes to get it down to the car. Not much fun with a 6 year old in the car waiting with you.

Wonderful staff. Some very well presented mature staff. Good organic selection and we prefer this Woollies to other suburbs, as organic bananas in stock most of the time which we love, also Maleny dairy.

They have the best fruit and vege. Often busy, but they handle the rush well. Maybe ask BCC to put traffic lights at the Harry Street car park entrance?

Same Woolies greatness of product and price as you would expect. Very nice isle and fruit n veg areas too. One of the better Woolies Ive visited. Definate 4*.

Recent sudden deterioration. Last night the shelves were bare, young males stacking aggressively and noisily, preventing access and pushing shoppers aside, especially in the fruit & veg & bread aisles. Restocking was badly needed indeed: fruit & veg rotten, packaged rocket and salad greens not just wilted but swilling in a green soup of decay, yet still on sale. What has happened? This used to be my favourite store.

Ample selection of fruit and veg, however the meat and seafood section is smaller than many of the newest Woolies.Gourmet and free range selection is pretty small.Sizeable selection of health foods.

Has all the basics and a few exrras that you need and a fresh sushi area plus free in-store fruit for children. Its getting difficult finding single items though as nearly everything is bundled for mass consumption.

A large modern supermarket with a good range of food and other groceries. It includes large well-stocked fruit/veges, deli, bakery and butcher sections. The parking is underneath the store and is well laid out. It is conveniently close to several other shops. The staff are consistently pleasant and efficient.

Excellent store with lots of fresh produce, seafood and marked down goods at the right times for my family and me. Great Staff always ready with a smile and great service. Highly recommended.

I love this huge Woolworths 😊 I can get everything I need for my weekly groceries and then some ☺ The fresh fruit and vegetables are great. The Bakery, Delicatessen, Meat, even a Sushi bar 🍥! 😱 😜 🤣Delicious 😋 The staff were busy but very helpful and assisted me find a few things. the store was clean and bright 😂 👍

Average, deli service is good but always running low on stock. A bit of a messy store. Sushi way too expensive

Love our local Woolies. Hannah on the cash registers always greets us with a smile and quick chat. She’s always quick to ring us through as well. love seeing her when we come in!

Huge store, right in the heart of Ashgrove, great location.I love going here, there is so much to choose from, love big stores like this, I can come back many times and get something different.They even have a sushi station set up.

In general the staff are friendly and helpful, but on occasions I have observed shelf stackers making fun of customers behind their backs or just plain being rude and treating customers like a small annoyance. I dont know if this is a boss causing undue pressure or something else. Its not all staff, but more than one or two. Customers are pretty fickle these days and there are two other supermarkets within a minutes walk with easier parking...

A well presented and stocked Woolworths Supermarket with competitive prices and special offers marked down daily! Fresh produce added daily! Wheelchair access is available & parking underneath! An escalator gets you to the Marketplace quickly from the underground parking! Manuka Honey is sold here!

We visited on a midweek morning. There were numerous customers and staff inside however the store was not too busy.My first impression of the store was that it is layed out differently to other stores. It appears larger as everything is more spaced out. The extra space made moving around easier without any risk of bumping into anyone else.The presentation of the store is good. The store appeared clean.The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.We enjoyed our shopping trip and can recommend this store to others.

A good woolworth. Nice and large. Larger than normal vegetable selection. Some decent cheeses and a bakery.Parking was quite easy with ramps down to the lower level.

A modern and well laid out Woolworths with a good range of stock and a pleasant shopping environment. Parking spaces underground are a good size but there are some tight turns. A BWS is right next door.

new store is refreshing. nice clean and mostly well stocked. most staff are great! restock staff member jason is a top bloke, friendly and willing to help a hand. staff like him make shopping here very pleasant. wish sushi wasnt so expensive.

Probably the best Woolworths in Brisbane in my opinion. They have recently had a new re-fit and their product range is significantly better than most all the other Woolworths stores Ive been to.Worth a visit 5 stars from me.

Really great store! Huge aisles, shelves always well stocked with an incredible range of products (not just own brand like some other supermarkets are now pushing!, staff friendly, helpful and obliging, checkout staff fantastic & committed to high customer service.Grocery shopping can be really arduous - not at Woodies Ashgrove! I can always get exactly what Im looking for, first time, every time. Wouldnt shop anywhere else.

My go-to woolies in Brisbane; I drive from the city to shop there every week. Always very clean and tidy and staff are friendly and helpful.Parking is convenient underneath it with 2 levels and plenty of spaces.
