The perm is lovely but the fade is terrible it looks like a classic 20’s from the pesky blinders cut over all good staff but can’t do fades at all

Came in without an appointment as I had just had a shocking job done by another salon. The ladies here were so kind and accommodating and the stylist Kim who fixed my hair did an amazing job. She talked me through every step of the cut and my hair looks so much healthier. Would definitely recommend her service.

I recommend this barber to anyone that visits WG for a haircut. The lady Kim was excellent. She was courteous, Chatty but most of all professional. The prices are fantastic compared to the other barbers in WG

I found this salon dirty. The equipment was not cleaned between each client. The floor was not swept. The did not clean between clientsTo add another insult, the staff did not wear masks. Disgusting. The haircut was average and crooked. I will not be returning.

I dont want to say anything unkind, so will try to be objective- suggest this hairdressers may be ok for a quick cut in a hurry, but seems not able to provide a consult. Balayage hair colouring seems not able to be provided- bleach was applied haphazardly and left on too long, resulting in brittle hair and a stripey effect. This required correction at another salon.

DO NOT recommend, even for a simple trimHairdresser did not listen to what I wanted and I ended up with extremely short and uneven layers when all I wanted was a trim. Layers were completely different lengths on either side. Unwilling to provide a refund and had to get my hair cut even shorter to attempt to fix the problem.

I have never done a Google review before, but feel that I have to in this instance. It was a very disappointing experience.I took my child for a haircut and it was not a nice experience for them. The hairdresser was too rough (my child spoke with me afterwards about it and I thought so too during the process). I understand they can be busy, but its no excuse to be disrespectful. The hairdresser was rude too when my child expressed concern over the cut, she then charged us extra for voicing this even though nothing additional was done or changed. We will definitely not be going back and I recommend you stay away!

Made me cry! I went to the shop to have a haircut requesting to get rid of my damaged hair, leave it to shoulder length and layer the front with a fringe. What I got was layered allover and length just went below my jawline and shorter at the back. Not the look I want! This is the worst haircut Ive ever had. And charged me $30

Was in other day, the young beautiful lady Nadia I think her name was. The one with the beautiful pink nails. I asked for a full blown bleach all over and wow did she do a great job. I have had some girls in past but Nadia did it like a superwoman. Where did u find her? Must of been from the gypsy marvel. Anyway great colour and will defs be back again and again. Ps. great haircut. Nadia that works there was very kind and I have to say super attractive. did exactly what I asked for. I usually come out of a hairdresser like what the hell has he/she done, but nadia was great, I even told her she should be a hand model! I guess hairdressers have to have good hands!

I had a hair cut by Nadia she cuts my hair too short ,uneven and she used a clipper to cut long hair not even scissor .my hair looks terribleand charged me $25 although their price list say only $20

My daughter got her first ever foils done here by Nadia and she was awesome. I was really unsure about letting her get them done and Nadia took the time to show me where she was going to put them, explained how many she was putting in and what the after care for the color was going to be. We were both really happy with the final result and we will definitely be back again.

I had my hair roots coloured by Judy. She did a fantastic job. Very meticulous and covered all the grey completely. I will be going back to Judy.

Went in for a mens cut. Asked for a fade and just recieved bad service all round. The combs had the hairs from the last person it was used on, so did the scissors. The fade was also very rushed and took her like 5 minutes. I now look like a pineapple. Do not recommend for men.

Went for a hair cut yesterday, online it says $22 but charged me $25. I asked for a front fringe (bangsand it came out terrible, the lady I had cut off my fringe and it was way too short, uneven and wrong. She also stopped my hair cut to clean and disinfect the salon and sweep the floors. You have other team members let them do it, so unprofessional. Used to see her alot and now wow lost me for sure. I now have let it grow and see someone else.

A really bad service Her name is Maria, very rude and impatient hairstylist, she wanted to imposed her own hairstyle she even mentioned that we are wasting her time for cutting our hair,which in fact is her Job. She supposed not to be thier, as she seems that her behaviour is not for being hairstylist,i used to be thier frequent customer and our family, but seems we will no longer, visit that place anymore!!!!!! BAD SERVICE and An arrogant hairstylist.

Been going to Xpress cuts since it opened, needed a haircut looked at their website and said they closed at 5.30pm, as needed to go to a graduation and needed a cut I left work early and arrived at 5.05pm 25 minutes before their advertised close time, only to be told we are CLOSED, when i told them their advertised closing time was 5.30.pm I was told they stop cutting at 5pm and spend half an hour cleaning, and she refused to serve me. THEN CHANGE YOU CLOSING TIME TO 5pm!!!!no one will come in to watch you clean for half an hour, the woman was arrogant and told me you shouldve come earlier, no Darling I wont be back at all!!!!! when to slicka in hillside and had never been there before, the guy was about to close, but he took me in and cut my hair, Thats!! customer service,thats how you treat customers !!! haircut took all of 10 minutes, so Xpress cuts you have lost 3 clients because of this, pathetic customer service and false advertising.

Don’t wanna give even a one star to this guys. They don’t know how to treat with their customers specially for Monika. When I go their first time for getting haircut Monika one of their hairdresser use the abusive language with me.

I got my hair done on Monday, First hairdresser that has burnt my scalp on places and made it flaky from bleaching hair, had to go doctors to get medication, do not recommend this place.

DO NOT waste your time or money on these hacks!I’m a hairdresser but my 6 year old daughter wanted to get a quick trim when we were out! She has long hair no layers! Simple it’s hairdressing at its basic! I asked for them to cut a good amount off and showed her how much I wanted off! She did this but it was completely uneven, longer on one side and the back looked like my daughter did it herself! Absolutely appalling. They charged me $22.50 for this and I had to fix it at home which has meant it’s shorter than she wanted now!I also took my son who is 3 to the barber called Grindstone in the same Centre and in the same day! His haircut is perfect and they were friendly and quick! I highly recommend them

They do real good hair chops. Been there only once but was very happy with the result. Some staff have better customer service skills than others but they are hairdressers, there to cut your hair, not be your mate, so no complaints here.

I do not recommend this place to anybody. You will regret going in there. Even one star is too good for them.First of all, a very bad and extremely poor customer service. Me and my partner went in there (water gardenfor his hair cut and it’s our first time too. We stepped in and had to wait for a while without anybody attending us although the main lady at register was free but instead she was having a casual chat with the other hair dresser. No greetings at all, we had to go up to them and tell them we are waiting to have a hair cut although they noticed that we have been waiting for a while.Secondly, when that lady finally decided to do her job, she have a really disgusted face while talking to us as if she is not happy to do her own job. As soon as my partner sat down for a cut, she started complaining about his hair having gel and it will ruin her scissors my partner always had hair cut with his gel on all the time and no hair dresser complained about it at all.Thirdly, when she was actually doing her job, she is not good with it. She was very harsh with her clippers and was almost pulling his hair. He have heaps of cuts and wounds afterwards. Even after taking shower, back of his head was full of red scratch and deep cut. She was obviously not skillful either. She doesn’t deserve Even $20 which they charged.Therefore, I strongly recommend people not to go there. It will be our first and last in that hair salon. Walk in there only if you want bad customer service and horrible cut.

DO NOT GO THEREI went there to get a side shave (I am a 12 year old girland the hair dresser was fantastic, her name was Lucy, it was at night and near closing time, she took it slow to make sure I liked it, another hairdresser was there, whom I dont know her name, she kept on frowning at me and looked like she was disgusted. She also kept on saying it was closing time soon and that she had finished two people within the time i got my hair cut. Due to her being impolite it didn’t get done properly, so this morning we went back there and I got told to wait, I waited half an hour and then got told my hairdresser (Betty because Lucy wasn’t inwas booked and they would get my a different hairdresser, it was that woman who kept on shooting mean looks at me. She talked to Betty and Betty told me that due to an incident that happened last night, they wouldn’t do my hair. There was no incident, she just didn’t like my hair. And no one ended up fixing it and we had to go to another store, to pay to fix it, which costed more so a simple shave that should have cost $10 ended up costing $25 Don’t go there they are horrible.

Went in to get my brothers hair cut. Such rude customer service! The hair dresser didnt even say hello or ask us what we wanted. Just pointed to the chair. Disgusting attitude for someone that works with customers face to face. We wont be back.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.I went to this hairdresser 2 weeks ago to enquire about having my hair trimmed. Upon my arrival I noticed two girls were working that Thurs night. One of the girls was attending to a customer. The other was having a casual chat to what seemed to be a friend.I stood and politely waited for her to finish, as I didn’t want to be rude and cut off her conversation.I saw that hairdresser look at me through one of the mirrors she was facing – she clearly knew I was standing there, she did not acknowledge me she continued to carry on with her conversation. I stood there waiting for 10 minutes expecting that she would eventually attend to me. After I realised she knew I was there and had no interest to address me I walked away. I found her behaviour to be absolutely inexcusable not just to me as possible customer but just in general as people. We could sit here and label her behaviour using many names but instead I will choose to recommend that any future customers never step foot in this saloon. I am making this recommendation to all my family and friends also who live in the area and may make the mistake of seeking out their services - DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR CUSTOM. <Melton Store>
