Young Family Dental in Salt Lake County

I was being lazy about my teeth care lately and I had a deep clean and a few carvings done in young family dental. It was a very nice total experience with these guys, super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I didn’t feel welcome at all and I was very confused on staff I never in my life been to a clinic that has dental assistant not in scrubs I was confused who was who. I feel from staff there was so much tension . The dentist was very kind and very knowledgeable but, I will be taking my procedure somewhere else due to there staff and overpriced on my procedure since I’m self pay.

I wish My cleanings were every three months, I always love coming here, everyone is so nice ALEXANDRIA YOU ROCK ! it almost feels like you are coming in catching up with family and freinds. thanky you for keeping my smile clean and healthy !☺️😀

I called for 2 new patient appointments but the first available appointment wasnt until November. However, Kristina was went above and beyond and managed to get us in same day! Upon arriving, the front desk staff was friendly and professional. The office itself is very welcoming and warm. The dental assistants were all very friendly and seem to work very well together. All of them super attentive and made myself and children feel welcomed and important. The Dentist was awesome, super fast and efficient. Already scheduled the next two appointments. Absolutely recommend to family and anyone seeking dental care in WJ.

The staff is friendly and I was given great information about my teeth. The hygienist, Devin, did a great job cleaning my teeth, answering questions, and providing information

Young Family Dental are amazing. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The doctors are very gentle. They honor pronouns too!My child just had a minor emergency with a wisdom tooth extraction sight. We drove over to see if anyone happened to be there after hours. Dr. Smith was leaving to go home. He gladly helped my child with kindness and professionalism even though The Wisdom TeethGuys did the surgery.(They are awesome tooI am very grateful for his help. He really saved the day!

I went to get two cavities filled last week. I felt everything was rushed that morning and that I was an inconvenience even though they scheduled me a week earlier. I was in and out in thirty minutes. When I got up after the dentist was done, it looked like a war room. All the needles from numbing me were left out in the open and Scattered. All the the Utensils were everywhere. The dentist that did the work you could hear in his voice he didn’t agree with the previous dentist findings. I was numb for 6 hours afterwards. Then the whole area has been hurting for week now. I had a lisp when talking for over four days. I went back and they couldn’t find nothing wrong. Even a week later I can’t even floss in that area with out a lot of pain. I didn’t have any pain before the procedure and now I’m in pain. I have had cavities filled in the past with zero issues.

Used to be a good place. I think the saddest part is that they have always been so good to work with, professional, good dentists, hygienists and staff, and now, 3 months to get in. Well, I guess the staffing shortages are hitting everywhere?

No no no! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY OR A FEAR OF THE DENTIST. I have had lots of work done by YFD (a different location), I went here to see what was wrong with my tooth. I was crying because I have anxiety and was scared. The dentist would not even talk to me until xrays were done, despite seeing the terror on my face (Dr.Workman). The assistant was RUDE. She told me " you are too difficult to even do this, if im being honest you shouldnt have even came in today. I usually dont give patients this long to get things done." She then brought in another male assistant who told me I had to leave after only being in the room for 10/15 minutes. They said they had other patients to get to and to not come back until I took dentistry seriously. He stayed in the room making sure I didnt stay another second. At one point the assistant took out all the dental tools and said " look how sharp these are, they are way worse than the xrays" all of This only made my fear of the dentist worse. Why would you kick someone out for being scared?! My aunt worked at this company for YEARS and now I see why she left.

I just visited Young Family Dental in West Jordan for the very first time today.It was an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend anyone who is in need of dental cleanings to see Monica at Young Family Dental in Wet Jordan.Kind and caring people, clean and orderly environment and best of all they take time to listen to any concerns about anything I had.Monica, the hygienist was amazing as well as the dentist himself! The receptionist at the front desk were kind and considerate as well all my questions were addressed and answered.So weird to say I just had a great time at the dentist, it is the truth!

We were ten minutes late today. They didn’t make a big deal about it. This meant a lot because we are down to one car and have to car pool; taking my daughter to work right before taking my son to his dental appointment. This made my day. Upon arriving we were checked right in. The service was seamless and the hygienist and dentist were nice and friendly. I would highly recommend Young Family Dental!!!

Devin was my hygienist today and she was so sweet and helpful! She was very gentle with my cleaning. They always take good care of me here, love this location! Been coming here for years.

I am giving Young Family Dental in West Jordan 5 stars because of the wonderful service I received. It began from the moment I walked through the door. The girls at the front desk welcomed me right away and I was almost immediately called back. I was nervous due to it being my first visit and I hate going to the dentist but everyone was very friendly and really put me at ease. They took x-rays which was quick and painless as was the actual dental exam. They answered all my questions and never made me feel like a bother. The whole process took approximately 30 minutes and I was out the door with a smile on my face. THANK YOU! Young Family Dental. I will definitely be returning for any future dental needs!

I got a cleaning done today with Monica the hygienist. She had a light hand and was super nice! She gave me a couple tips to keep my hygiene great . I appreciate her giving me tips on how to floss better as well! Will be coming back in 6 months with her for sure!

Orchid & Dr. Lloyd had me in and out super quick and made sure I was comfortable. Thank you!This was originally a five star review they asked me to do while in office. The process was quick I can give 5 stars to that but I decided to try a different office closer to my home & the three cavities Young family dental told me I needed to get filled were magically gone. This concerns me on the filling I had previously. Was there really anything there? Sounds like to me a good strategy to have you clients pay more for unnecessary work.

I’m deeply terrified of going to the dentist and have put off treatment because of my fears. This was my first time at Young Family Dental in West Jordan and they treated me with kindness and concern. Orchid was so helpful in explaining the process and things she was doing during my visit. And Dr Workman took the time to talk with me and ease my fear during my exam. I will definitely come back and refer my friends to this amazing office. Young family dental takes the fear away from going to the dentist. The staff does everything possible to make their patients comfortable. Orchid and Dr. Lloyd are both amazing, and I had a very comfortable experience. Their covid procedures are also up to date and cautious making it as safe as possible.

Had a great experience. Orchid took great care of me and was super friendly. The cleaning was painless and Shelley did a great job explaining everything to me. It was great to see them measure all of my gums and discuss that with me.I needed a small filling repaired and they were able to do it sameday. Great service. All the staff was super friendly.

Young Family Dental is awesome. I like that they gave me a plan with prices so I can be prepared and make sure I can budget out my treatments. Dr. Workman is awesome and Alyssa is great as well. She made it a bearable experience. 😊 Shelly did my deep cleaning two weeks later and she made the experience comfortable and was very informative on what I need to do for healthy gums. My first time here, I got here early anticipating paperwork, appointment was at 1:30, I was called back at 1:43. My nurse doing x-rays was sweet and fast. My hygienist Shelly was awesome and made my teeth feel FANTASTIC! Even with my anxiety for dentists, I felt comfortable here.

While going to the dentist is never a great experience. It is made better by picking a practice that cares about their patients. Young Family Dental is this kind of practice.Orchid was great about walking through the process and making sure I understood what was going on by keeping me informed. She always came back to check on me to make sure I was comfortable.I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for the best experience they can have with a dentist.

Needed to find a new dentist since I just moved to the area, decided to give Young Family Dental a try. I got in fast and everyone was so professional and nice. Orchid made my overall experience amazing with her attentiveness and her bubbly personality!

I experienced a medical episode the day of my appt. and wasnt sure I would be able to continue. orchid was so kind and made sure I was comfortable and got me some ice water and even sat with me until I felt better. They didnt rush me at all and as soon as I was able they completed my exam. Very patient and understanding. They really care about you.

Exceptional service! My children were very comfortable with Orchid & Alondra. It was my first visit here and I was sent here through my Army Reseve Unit. The entire staff was very welcoming and friendly. Orchid took my x-rays and blood pressure. She did great! Communicated really well the entire time and was quick and efficient. Strongly recommend this place for your dental work 👌.

Young family dental is West Jordan is the place to go!! Friendly staff, clean waiting room.Alyssa, Elly and Vania all worked on me and they we’re all awesome. They did not rush and took their time on every single tooth. Loved the experience here and will definitely be coming back.

I had two emergency extractions in one week they got me in super quick. The staff is so kind and friendly. The dentist are amazing and so friendly as well.they even changed the music for me. Its the little things that matter. 100% would recommend to friends and family.

They are super nice and accommodating. They arent condescending to me when I dont brush my teeth. Alondra makes feel comfortable and safe. Dr. Lloyd is gentle and good at reading when it gets too much. Both of them have made it 5 stars.

I dread going to the dentist due to past experiences at other offices. This was the most positive experience I have had! Shelly explained everything to me in depth and checked for my understating. She was gentle and made sure I felt comfortable. The staff is great. They called me two different times to work with me and get me in asap as per my request. They’re super helpful. I went in today for my cleaning and check up. Devin was my hygienist and did amazing. She was able to give me recommendations on great toothbrushes for my teeth because they’re sensitive! Very professional, great environment, zero anxiety during my visit.My husband and our daughter love it here as well. So happy to have found a dental office that takes great care of me and my family.

Orchid greeted me and took me back. She made me feel comfortable while I waited for the hygienist Devan to come in. Devan was detailed with my cleaning. She also made sure this was a good experience and not painful. Dr. Workman addressed all my concerns. He was professional and nice! Great experience!

I have always liked the staff at this location. I had to bring my toddler today. While my assistant, Orchid (who is awesome!), was taking pictures of my teeth, another worker played with and entertained my son. She was kind and my son loved her! My hygienist, Leah, has a soft touch and was also very sweet. I would recommend this location!

I have been coming here for about 2 years and my experience is always fantastic. They are always on time and all of the hygienists are very kind. Orchid was very welcoming and helpful in my cavity filling appointment. I always feel like they are honest in their opinions and take great care of my teeth.

Great staff from front to back they make sure you are comfortable and dont push you into getting procedures done. Went in for a broken tooth as well as pain. Doctor workman explained what was wrong . His assistant orchid was very nice and checked up on me to make sure I was comfortable. Got a deep cleaning the same day by Tammy and went in the second day with Leah . I had a bad experience at a dentist previously and have been putting off going to the dentist for this reason. I found Young Family Dental in West Jordan and they got me in almost immediately. The staff was very friendly and they put me at ease right away. They were not judgmental and were very supportive. Leah did a deep cleaning and was very proficient at what she was doing. Her friendly, happy manner made something I have been dreading for some time a good experience! The dentists were also friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I’m happy to say I have found a dentist that I do not dread going back to!

I had a traumatic experience at my last dentist. While Leah did a periodontal deep clean, she was sensitive to my past fear. She understood and prevented it from happening again, checking in with me all throughout the cleaning to make sure I was doing okay and was okay when I needed a quick break. She is patient, thorough, kind, and thoughtful. These folks are so great! Best dentist office ever. I highly recommend.

Leah and Chelsea were super wonderful and kind! I get anxiety going to the dentist and they made me feel very comfortable and even held my hand when I was getting a shot! Definitely recommend them! I don’t remember the mans name who did my filling but he was very nice and informative!

I had my first visit at the West Jordan location today. Everyone was so friendly. I am definitely glad that I found them and will continue to go there. They really make you feel relaxed and are very knowledgeable. The receptionist was very pleasant, London, who took my x-rays and polished my teeth was amazing. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was wonderful and Dr. Young was very gentle and thorough. I have already recommended Young Family Dental to two of my friends.

Leah the hygienist was great! I had my first deep cleaning and it wasn’t as bad as I thought thanks to her! She was kind, friendly and cared for me a lot. I would definitely want her to do my future cleanings. Great hygienist I recommend her. 😊

This place is great! Leah,Taisha were awesome! I hate shots or any work done in my mouth but they made it as painless and enjoyable possible. Office staff are friendly and welcome you as you come in. Extremely clean and professional looking. I have been here several times now and would recommend this office for anyone needing a dentist.

I am VERY happy with Young Family Dental!!Most importantly, LEAH has been absolutely wonderful! I had intense work to be done on my teeth and she was just so great. I was terrified at first but she got the work done so nicely and walked me through it all, and was just so kind and considerate and that was amazing. I had a fantastic experience at Young Family Dental! The hygienist, Leah, was great and very personable. She took the time to explain things to me, like why it is important to brush and floss. I feel like being educated about those kind of things is great motivation to keep up good dental hygiene. Dr. Workman was also very kind and personable. I really enjoy when a dentist can talk to you about something other than just your teeth. I would highly recommend this office!

This was our first family dental visit. I love how convenient it was for them and us! Usually some dentist will only see Adults or Pediatrics, but this clinic will see Both, and loved that about them! And theyre close to our home!This also was my daughters first time at the dentist and the staff treated her So well! Especially Orchid, and Hailey! Orchid showed how the instruments work and assured her that they were not going to harm her. My daughter was laughing and smiling and actually enjoyed her visit! Our hygienist Cameron was great and caring! She helped us with our concerns, and gave us great advise!Overall experience and staff was Amazing! Thank you guys!
