Its a great place to get your general Ed.. they also have great programs such as a nursing program.
Been there for over 4 years and counselors have led me every wrong way. The only nice things about the campus are Support Staff and IT
Learning a lot while continuing my education for real-estate
Its a very nice college with alot of parking
Went to see a counselor. Had to wait over 3.5 hours. I asked the counselor who stated administration is to blame. It seems money is being used in other non student areas. Our students are the future, students and community need more say on where money is allocated. Yuba College is among many schools with an extremely high student failure rate. Administration needs to fix this, or the current administration needs to be replaced, the college can save money this way too.
Extremely disorganized and do not care about you or your problem unless you virtue signal. They don’t even pay some of their employees who handle sensitive documents. School has only self interest; considering they have multiple offices not even located on campus (they’re embarrassed being there). They can’t keep a straight and secure staff, it’s really an embarrassment to the community. They even asked for more funding last election with 4 series of funding already. They’re in more debt than they can shake; thank God for the federal bail out money they took from the rest of America. This school is only interested in the little ones who cry Wolf instead of the integrity of America. Beware and avoid at all cost.
Very friendly staff and covid 19 precautions are in place. I love this place!! A must see!
Great school! Went there for 4 years and got 4 A.S degrees
I love this school and all its resources
Avoid if you worry about the integrity of your education.
I had a horrible experience with the finacial aid staff and analyst!
This is a very good junior college.
Goodness
Many teachers expect you to be experts from day 1. To add on to that the school doesnt allow refunds, and will add a W to your transcript after the 2nd week which is the 2nd day of class for many classes. 2 days of class barely gives you an understanding of whats expected of you.
my two nieces have had nothing but issues. The staff does not follow thru. loses their paperwork all the time. The Professors do not make an effort to help the students. when the Dam was going to break and we were all evacuated. She had a final, but had no access to a computer and the professor refused to let her make it up and failed her. We went to the dean and no one would do anything about it. That was just wrong. Counselors set them up in all the wrong classes. Takes to long to get out of there.
Need EV charging stations.
Terrific curriculum, competent system
Just sucks
Community college is something most people take for granted. As a Yuba College alumni, I received a high-quality education at a cheap price. What most people don’t know is that the units you take here can transfer to a 4-year university, which is extremely helpful since it’s expensive. Another aspect that makes Yuba College an excellent choice is the quality of education. In university, you are one of hundreds of students and here I got to interact with my professors, easily join clubs, and was part of programs that wanted to help students advance in their careers. Although I now attend university, it’s a place I am proud to come from and something I wish more people would consider. I highly recommend it!!!
I was on fincial aid for 2 semesters but they took it away this semester staff and human resources is rude and most of the time your counselors are never there to help you set up a class
Our Countrys Good was absolutely fantastic ! I think the Director is genius ! His vision of this play was outstanding and the caliber of acting top-notch ! I was so impressed with the cast and crew for the fine, professional performance. The play was very realistic- I almost had to walk out on opening night because the lashing and fighting scenes were so real. I saw the play three times and I can hardly wait for the next production ! Three cheers to the theater department ! You all should be VERY PROUD !
The campus is a nice place, it is well maintained and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Utterly terrible school. Wont reply to email. Wont pick up phone. Staff members too lazy to work. Although financial aid is the only good team in the school. Everyone else, pathetic.
I attended this school and my brother just recently enrolled and we both had the same nightmare of an experience while trying to enroll. The worst part is the people who work in the offices and different departments besides the nice girl in the financial aid department. Their online webadvisor login system is the worst Ive ever come across for a community college (Ive taken classes at Butte, Sierra College and Sacramento City Collegesupport for the website is virtually non existent. Several attempts Ive made to reach out for support have gone unanswered. The staff members Ive come across are nightmares themselves as they moan and groan when you ask them a question or for any type of assistance. If I could give zero stars I would. The facilities at the main campus are also way outdated and I found on two occasions that the academic advisors have given both my brother and I false information for transferring. Stay clear of this school and try Sierra College or Butte College. The staff at those schools are much more helpful and better at doing their jobs.
The teachers there are willing to help and its a pretty good school for a junior college. The staff at the help desk can either be very helpful or a nuisance its one or the other. They have free tutors available to anyone who needs them too.
Human resources is terrible cant get anybody to answer the phone very incompetent
This is an amazing school to go to; you can tell the teachers want to help you. Night classes avaliable and staff that is more than willing to help you through the process of applying for college. Great undergraduate school!
Great college with excellent facilities. They offer wonderful services and class schedules. Great facility and staff.
I mean .... when you call on the phone very nice...but when you go in... very rude. I mean keep it together. And please ask all questions in advance. I MEAN IF YOUR APPOINTMENT IS AT 9 AM BE THERE AT 8:30 AM TAKE YOUR TIME BUY YOUR PARKING TICKETS OR PASS WHICH EVER AND ....CHECK IN AT LEAST 15 MINUTES IN ADVANCED BECAUSE IF NOT GUESS WHAT HAPPENS ? YOU JUST WASTED YOUR PRECIOUS TIME.
Trying to get ahold Ive my counselor or anyone in the counseling/financial aid office by email but I guess nobody bothers to check the emails. So I have to come all the way out to the campus twice because nobody there can get it together and give me the right time for a walk in. I just have one simple question about my classes and financial aid.

Who remembers damarice heath or Anne heath in 1954? Posted as carolyn (middle namemick (married name)
how the f do you get to the classes for the motorcycle training
I got lost with these directions but I kept on driving until the bystanders gave me the right directions to the school.
I never completed my registration but they sent me my financial aid on the card and although I never touched it, theyre trying to send me to collections for the money I didnt spend. Not to mention I called the financial department regarding the situation, left 3 messages on 3 separate occasions & now because someone didnt do their job my credit score is being effected negatively! They never even tried to call me back, apparently they let any moron work at this place.
l like this school
