Zee Doner Kebab in Tuscaloosa County

Used to be 5 star but since the original owner (Ozzy or so, big big guyleft so did quality. Used to be our Sunday lunch, every Sunday... so sad

The food was delicious and tasty. I really enjoyed my meal in here. Excellent taste and authentic place. Service was great. I would highly recommend this place for real Turkish food. My family and I enjoyed. Service is also excellent. Everything was great, nice and clean.

There are not many good kebab places in Alabama, id there any. But this place is by far the best kebab I have ever ate!

Hands down the best middleterranean food in t-town. The gyro is so delicious and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Hidden gem tucked away in the food court of University Mall. If you like Mediterranean food then you should make sure to try this restaurant! It really is some of the best food you can get in Tuscaloosa.

It is hard to find Turkish food around AL, and Zee is the best place to have it so far. Very clean, nice staff and fair price. I loved it!

Authentic foodsIt’s unique place in the town you could find something quite differently any other restaurants.First, everything is fresh. Foods delicious.My favor was lentil soup, beef kabab and ground beef boat.Second, all foods halal or kosher which hard find.Third, of course $ prices !!!

Honestly, this place has amazing food quality. Considering the price you pay for what you get here, definatly deserves a 5 star rating.

Closest I’ve gotten to a real Döner in the US. The meat is the real deal and tastes just like at a Döner place in Germany! Only thing missing to make it perfect is the bread not getting heated/toasted in a sandwich press like most places in Germany do before filling it. 👍

Delicious foods and pleasant atmosphere!

Excellent food unlike anything else in Tuscaloosa! Everything is fresh and homemade and tastes great. Dont be fooled by the fact that its in the mall, its definitely not a typical food court chain. The people working here are very friendly and obviously take pride in their authentic food. Try the baklava and Turkish tea with you meal (only $1 each!)

These guys are awesome! I made a fool of myself and seasoned my fries with sugar instead salt, they laughed with me and gave me new fries (on the house). The food was awesome! I’ll be back soon!

I got the steak wrap and it was awesome. Guy at the counter said it’d take 5 minutes but it took 15. But that was minor so no big deal. Highly recommend this place. I know the pic shows the wrap 3/4 eaten but I forgot and it was so good.

Well, I had some hesitation before I went to this new place at the mall because I did NOT thing it would anything close to authentic Turkish food...BUT i was wrong!! The food was great and the staff was extremely friendly! After I had lunch they treated me with baklava and turkish tea(YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY)!I tried “Lamb Doner with Rice” my first time and I loved every single bite. The second time I tried their new shish kebab which was also delicious and the portions were BIG! Anyways, you should try their food and I am sure you will agree with me!

A little bit of Berlin right here in Tuscaloosa. I had heard that there was good Middle Eastern wraps somewhere in Tuscaloosa. However, I rarely go into the mall. Today I stopped in and had a döner sandwich.That is basically like a gyros wrap, and the meat is beef and lamb. I opted for the rice instead of fries. It comes with a drink, and I chose a Pepsi, but I lamented that they did not have ayran , the salty yogurt drink. His server said, wait, I will make you one, and he did! It was tasty. The sandwich was large, had plenty of tasty meat on it, and you could choose the toppings, onions, red cabbage, etc. They have a tasty cucumber sauce. The price was not overly high. I really love the rice! I’m not sure what the little brown pieces are that they add, but it was very tasty. Great place to have lunch.

I just learned today that there is a turkish restaurant in tuscaloosa. I went there one of my german friend. The food is very tasty and fresh salad and bread . The employees are friendly and very kind. After dinner, they offered tea and baklava for free. I higly recommend this restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in Tuscaloosa.I have tried this restaurant two times, and I was delighted both times. For the first time, I ordered doner plate with rice, and that was tasty. Then the second time, I ordered boat with ground beef, and that was delicious too.Additionally, the service was perfect.

Another GREAT experience here! The staff are very hard workers and super nice. The food is in large portions and tastes great. I got the Doner sandwich again and it was fantastic as usual. They even gave me a complimentary cup of black tea and a piece of Baklava. If you havent been here you definitely need to try it out. Great food and great service. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could! I will definitely be back.

Ozzys is authentic and delicious. One of the freshest and best restaurants in Tuscaloosa, where the only thing more amazing than the food are the employees and owner.

This place is worth a visit. Good food, in dish sizes that will more than likely fill you up, and a friendly laid-back environment.I ordered a bowl of rice as a side and a chicken gyro as the main dish. Both tasted great. The gyro itself you get to handpick what you like and if you dont know, they are more than happy to help you.They have a lot more dishes to try from if you dont want what I had. They offer salads, and a few meats, along with a dish I cant remember the name of that they offered to let us try. It was just as great as the gyro. I will be going back.

Not a while lot of food options but there main dish was REALLY good and there was a lot of it. $10 well spent! I will definitely be going back again.
